Important Bible Questions

The first Bible question was asked by the serpent when he beguiled (fooled) Eve. (Genesis 3:1) The devil has been asking loaded (deceptive) questions ever since. Aside from that, what do you believe are major Bible (Genesis-Revelation) questions Christians should have an answer for and why?

MikeM: Does it hurt when you do that?

Donna: Based on Scripture, aren't we living in a fallen world that needed a Saviour to come & make a way of salvation?

"Dear" dull of hearing Bloggers:) Here's another example of what I'm looking for:

Bible question - "How can a man be born when he is old?" (Jn. 3:4)

In the flesh, impossible. But, by believing in Jesus as Saviour & Lord anyone can be spirit regenerated (born again).

Mr Leon is perhaps saying that devil has been asking loaded (deceptive) 'questions' and so that people asking theological questions is a sin, one inspired by Saten. 'Questioning' comes from a thinking mind, so then the root evil would be the thinking, questioning mind itself? If so, then thinking is unholy.

Go preach the gospel, that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in Jesus' name among all nations. Study to show yourself honorable to God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, dividing the word of truth justly. Be ready always to give an answer to every person that asks you a reason for the hope that is in you. For he which converts the sinner from the error of his way will save a life from death, and will cover a multitude of sins. Mark 16:15+ Lk.24:47+ I Tm.2:15+ I Pt.3:15+ Jms.5:20

Did Jesus say to seek ye first the kingdom of God and all His righteousness and all these "things" would be added unto us?
Did Jesus say to seek money, riches and fame?
Did Jesus tell us that our Father knows what we have need of even before we pray?
Did Jesus tell us that without faith it is impossible to please God?
Did Jesus tell us to repent, take up our cross and follow Him and He would make us fishers of men?
Did Jesus tell us that obedience is better than sacrifice?
---Michelle on 10/2/07

Did Jesus say that His blessings would overtake us, if we would only obey Him?

Obedience, better than sacrifice.
His sheep know His Voice, and a stranger they will not listen to.

How do you know that your belief is the right one, and all the others of the world are wrong? Are not all faiths the same, with merely using different names for the same God? Who is Jesus? If God is love, then why is there suffering in the world, and why is there a hell? I think I'm a good person, so why do I have to get saved? How did you get saved? What is praying and what is the right way? How can I become a Christian? What Bible should I read, and what church should I go to? Should I get baptized?
---Eloy on 10/2/07

Leon, who said "here we are living the consequences of Adam's sin?" Because I live under the New Covenant, the Shed Blood of Jesus Christ for the redemption of my sins. I live under grace and mercy. The Blood of Jesus cleanses me from ALL unrighteousness and I am the righteousness of God THROUGH Christ Jesus, amen?

The Bible gives us answers, answers, answers for those who would oppose the Word of God in our lives.
The Answer for every question is keep your eyes on Jesus Christ.
Did Jesus believe in repentance?
Did Jesus follow the traditions of men?
Did Jesus believe in healing the sick?
Did Jesus tell us to leave the cares of the world behind?
Did Jesus tell us to live in the present, only concern ourselves with today, tomorrow has enough worries of it's own?

Excellent Jack!:) Please, how would you answer those questions (Matt. 22:42) & why?
---Leon on 10/2/07

I think one of the most important Biblical questions is that asked by Jesus Himself: "What think you of Christ? Whose Son is He?"
---Jack on 10/2/07

Dear bloggers:) Here's an example of what I'm looking for:

"Where are you?" (G3:9)

It's not that God didn't know where the Adams were. It seems He wanted them to come out of hiding (denial) & take responsibility for their disobedience. I believe the Adams had a window of opportunity to own, confess & repent of their sin before God. But, they let the moment pass & were summarily punished. So, "here we are", living the consequences of Adam's sin.

Why are you a follower of Jesus Christ? How has Jesus changed your life? Why should I recieve the Lord Jesus into my life? And the main Question should be How can I be born again, and make Jesus Christ my Lord and savior? Amen!

leon,my answer would be there is a God and his word doesn,t make sense to the intellectual mind.it,s a matter of faith.

During my time as a Youth & Ed, and having served 33 years as a missionary, all the questions I've been asked concerning the Bible can be lumped into serveral categories: Do I have to accept Christ as my personal Savior to get to heavan?, How do I get Christian maturity? What is the difference between guilt and conviction? How do I know the Bible is accurate? When is Christ returning? While this answer may seem simplistic, all the questions asked can be reduced to one of these topics listed above.
---wivv on 9/30/07

Based on my experience concerning questions I've been asked: Why is it required to accept Christ as Savior to get to heavan? How to mature as a Christian, know the difference between guilt and conviction. Anser your questions with Bible documentation, not personal opinion or the opinion of others. This may seem over simplistic, but all questions I've been asked will fit into one of the catogories mentioned. (I'm 70, have been a missionary for 33 years and a Youth & Ed. Dir. before that.)

Read These Insightful Articles About Christian Penpals

main thing > does God want each of us to be personally sharing with Him in His love, all the time? Jesus says to seek first His kingdom, in Matthew 6:33 > I'd think God's kingdom is our Father's own realm of how He is in love and shares this with us, His own kids. So - - by comparison, wondering if God talks to us today could be kind of a DECOY question to get us distracted from how intimately He desires to share so much more than just talk.

What exactly is Salvation? People should understand what it takes to truly be saved. And what salvation really is.And who is Jesus, is another good question to ask. Jesus is the foundation of the Christian faith. That He is the Son of God and if Jesus had not come and died at the hands of wicked men, none, of us would had a chance of going to heaven.

always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you 1 Pet 3:15

One should be able to give substantial Biblical support for ALL of their beliefs.
Too many accept the word of a pastor or the writings of an "expert." We need to know for ourselves what God's word says. Those that abide in His word are his true disciples and they will know the truth and it shall set them free!
