To worship God in truth and in Spirit is indeed rare. God however, makes the worshiper, He does. The woman at the well was told by Jesus, "where one worships is not important". "It is a heart thing". Some believe that this woman was teasing Jesus when she asked for this living water.

God has designed for us through Christ to experience the fullness that He allots to man, that we might understand the plans and purposes of God and the hope to which He called us. Without the righteousness of Jesus Christ, none of this can happen.
Without His righteousness there is no hope of us ever staying connected to His grace.

If God is looking for qualified people to worship him, he wouldn't find anyone here on this earth. Before a person comes to Jesus, they must first have a thirst, a desire to change their heart and their life. The woman at the well, knew that Jesus was for real. She had a desire to learn more about Christ.

Returning to the question,"what qualifications did Jesus tell her that she needed before she could be saved?" Here is a hint,"If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink, thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water."

Blessings Mima, there must be a thirst, a need. She must therefore recognize that she is a sinner. When you come to Jesus, you must deal with sin. All secrets must come out before Him. True worshipers worship Him in Spirit and truth. The woman had turned in faith to the Lord Jesus, so now she rushes into the city to tell others. The fact that she witnessed to others is evidence of her faith.
