1) Thank you Darlene and Helen :-)

Let's all be in agreement that if these fires were started by people, that those responsible are caught and justice prevails. They've arrested 5 people so far suspecting them of starting fires. Starting a fire is an act of terrorism and should be treated as such. If you watch the news, you will see how devastated not only the land is, but the people.

2) Seeing those whose homes have been destroyed getting a peek at their home for a first just rips your heart out, you just want to go hug them. Please keep them all in prayer and if you feel so led, make a donation to a well known, reputable organization who specializes in diseaster relief and designate it for the CA wildfire relief efforts. And pray blessings upon all the fireman, police and all their families. The firemen in particular have done a spectacular job...

3) ...they have been working non-stop with barely any sleep or food and quite a few have been injured. Pray for God's protection and strength for them.

And as Darlene said....may God blow as fresh wind of His Spirit over SoCal...a wind the brings a mighty move of His Spirit and a hunger for Him. It's time for California to bow down to the one and only true God, the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth and to put away all their false idols!

Barb...Wow! You have had your hands full. Praise the Lord that you are able to be there with your family. We just spent four months helping my BIL recover from a fire when his "meth" blew up in his face. As soon as he was recovered he went right back to his old friends and lifestyle. Please pray for him.

Holly4jc,Praise God! So glad to hear you are safe and also job and home. I surely will keep praying, now for you and yours especially, since I know you are out there. The news is reporting some of the fires were arson. It is hard to understand how anyone could be that evill to burn forest, animals, homes, businesses, but worst of all people killed. Oh that God would bring a Spirit of repentance across that whole area. May there be a new wind blowing there, the wind of the Holy Ghost to draw more people to God.

I would appreciate prayer for an appointment I have with my surgeon. I have a hernia near the incision site where I had my gastric bypass surgery last year. The hernia is really bothering me lately, and I am considering having it repaired. I was hoping to wait for plastic surgery, but that could be another year or so. Thanks.

Holly4jc - Interesting insight. I could see it was God at work, but didn't know why. Praise Him. As I was watching it on the television I was thinking "what are you up to God?" I find it interesting that people from Hollywood live there.

1) Thank you to all who have been praying for California and the wildfires, please continue to pray for everyone here. I am in San Diego county, in the mid-eastern part of the county, close to the fires and I want to give praise and thanks to God for keeping me safe. The town next to me was evacuated (the fires were 7 miles away) and the town right below where I work was evacuated, but my home and my workplace were kept safe! As a friend of mine was praying and interceding on Monday, God showed her...
---Holly4jc on 10/25/07

2)... that the town that both she and I live in is one of Gods "cities of refuge" and would be safe. Last time the fires came (4 years ago) our town was also safe. The fires went all around it, but never crossed over into the town. I was not here for the previous fires (but she was), I had not moved to CA yet, but I'll tell you, it certainly was a terrifying experience. I lived in south Florida for 24 years and I think the hurricanes I experienced were less frightening than the fires!
---Holly4jc on 10/25/07

3) As I watched on the internet and TV the county officials kept displaying maps of where the fires were in the county and I could see that there seemed to be an invisible line right above my town that throughout the spread of the Witch Creek fires to the south, the fires just would not cross over that line. Praise Jesus for His protection!!! Think about this...God was showing me that there is no coincidence that the worst of the fires started at WITCH creek and this is October, the month of Halloween...
---Holly4jc on 10/25/07

4) ...and let me tell you, San Diego County has lots of people practicing in the demonic realm, witches, new age, etc. Something to ponder there, quite a prophetic statement being made. But even as the fires were not started by the Lord, He did allow them and it was also symbolic of the cleansing fire, refining fire that is starting to sweep over southern California. SoCal and San Diego in particular, has had some very, very strong prophetic words spoken over it in recent years...
---Holly4jc on 10/25/07

5) ...stating that God has chosen it and is going to make it into a very strategic city in His plans for revival. No wonder its under attack...but we all know who wins!!! JESUS!!!! And we who belong to HIM!!!! Hallelujah!!!

Rebbeca D hope all continues to improve for you. NVBarbara will be praying for all of them. Catherine,I agree, have been praying for the wind to die down. I know others have too and paise God they said on news that it is. It's awesome to see what prayer can do. Georgia and some of those States need rain along with California. My childhood friend has lung cancer, incurable, but treatable and had a Catscan to see if it had spread, pray there's no cancer anywhere else, she is praying too. Friends 60 years.

I'm doing better after my hysterectomy. I have been experiencing some hot flashes and mild mood swings. There for a while the hot flashes lasted a few seconds. Then it keep getting longer and longer. I am trying the over the counter Estrogen pills, to see if they help. It also has vitamins as well so that is a plus. I never thought a year ago that at age 32 I would have to have a complete hysterectomy. I still have multiple kidney stones, (what's new) but I'm Still Blessed.

I feel for those people out in California with all the fires. As one man stated, "it is hell on earth". We do not rejoice in people's troubles. It is hell on earth.

Trish,I just want you to know I care and I pray for you every day. I know that won't ease what you are going through but I pray God will comfort you and do what looks impossible to humans but easy for God,in your behalf. I pray God gives you a gift of faith for a time of stress. Just remember days go past and so does the pain of troubles with God's help.God Bless
