Your answer to the question,BAHG has no scriptual basis and is totaly wrong.

The word states every sin will be forgiven except blaspheme holy ghost.
Can one be saved with out accepting Jesus?
When ONE reject Jesus for salvation theres no other way for one to be save that is BLASPHEME AGAINST THE HOLY SPIRIT.{rejecting JESUS}
---LIONEL on 11/25/07

This is what I believe blaspheme against the Holy Spirit is. It is the Holy Spirit that draws us to God. If we deny Him and never come to Christ then we will not be forgiven because we can't ask for forgiveness after we die.

blaspheme against the holy spirit is a sin you "CANNOT" be for given is cursing ,making fun, saying anything that is evil about careful it is an unpardonable sin.Mark 3:29.eternaty is a long time to spend in the wrong place.

Rebecca Rebecca
You are so so wrong.
If you are saved it means that you did not reject JESUS.
When one reject the plane of salvation of JESUS, there is no other way that one can be saved.
---lionel on 11/8/07

To me blasphemy against the Holy Ghost is saying that Satan done something, when in fact it was Jesus. It isn't rejecting Jesus Christ, we've all done that before we got saved. So if that was blasphemy against the spirit, none of us would go to heaven.

Mark 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation. Strongs 987, Greek Lexicon, speak reproachfully, rail at(scold in insolent or abusive language) ,revile(verbal abuse),calumniate(utter malicious false statements),blaspheme, evil spoken of. Be aware everytime anyone speaks against Baptism of HG with tongues or the Gifts of the Spirit, you speak against the Holy Ghost for it is He moving through the surrendered vessels-people,of God.

lionel: And Jesus "is the TRUTH, the Life and the Way"
---TS on 11/7/07

Blessings to you Bob, I do not even know what "oneness" is. Could you clarify exactly what you mean by "oneness"? I attend an independent Baptist Church, and a lot of these "doctrines" you are pointing out to me I do not even know what they mean. Just like TULIPS, I have no idea what it is referring to. I would appreciate any spiritual insight you could share with me on this, and I appreciate your taking the time to respond to my blog questions. Thank you and God Bless you.

The way one blaspheme against the holy spirit is to reject JESUS.
---lionel on 11/6/07

John16:13 "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth"

John14:17 "Even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him"

Acts8:29 "Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot"

Did Philip hear and obey or grieve Him away?

Is the Holy Spirit your conscience?
---sue on 11/6/07

TS>>>my friend. In one word>>> wrong.+++
---catherine on 11/6/07

Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is hearing the voice of conscience and ignoring it to do wrong time and time again. The HS is a gentleman and will not force you yet, if you harden yourself against His warnings eventually you will no longer be able to hear His warnings given in love.

False Oneness cannot produce Scripture that says unbelief is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.
They will quote the Book of Romans and waltz around the elephant, but it is false. All of their other doctrines that launch off of this one, deny the power of the Holy Spirit.
One Baptism
(no baptism of the Holy Spirit beyond one baptism).
So what Oneness assumes is that they are operating out of the power of the Holy Spirit and often times, it is their own power and mind they are speaking from.
---Bob on 11/6/07

False Oneness doctrine adds to Scripture, that unbelief is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.

Mark 3:28 All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: 29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:
False Oneness denies the power of the Holy Spirit. To them, He is an essence, a thing, an atmosphere. False Oneness does not recognize the Holy Spirit as God.
---Bob on 11/6/07

Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is not unbelief.

In a misguided zeal, Oneness teachers use this false doctrine today, and Oneness churches have put pressure on people to convert using fear of never being forgiven, because of unbelief, as Oneness teaches, holding over them the threat of their rejection of Christ being blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. Nothing in Scripture supports this, and it is false doctrine.

You're teaching Oneness, again. You've reduced the Holy Spirit to a thing, only pointing to Jesus Christ.

Matt 12:31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. 32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
---Bob on 11/6/07

It is a state of hardness in which one consciously and willfully resists God's saving power and grace. It is a desperate condition that is beyond the situation of forgiveness, because one is not able to recognize and repent of sin. Also to blasphemy the Holy Spirit is persistently to ignore or discredit His work in one's life.

"The whole religious experience of those who babble in tongues is based on the emotional ecstasy of the experience, not on the rational worship of a loving God. Forget the obedience, they say, just give me the thrill!
---jerry6593 on 11/6/07 "

We don't know how much further this person takes this train of thought outside of the blogs, but if so, ignorance could lead to serious sin.
---Rebekah_Martin on 11/6/07

Another good one Cynthia! To me, a very simplistic deffinition would be to push the Spirit out of your life in lue of another Spirit. In other words to convert to another religion or false religion. If I as a Christian would turn to a Muslim or a cult. I would know because I would no longer have an interest in the things of the God of my creation or Jesus Christ's true gospel.I might throw away Christs diety and worship angels or humans or who knows what.
