2.Love seeks not it's own3.let Christ be our guide remember his way is sweet tested tried, can not be denied.
3.the fear of God - when we genuinely try to show honor 1st to Him our father, the giver of life instead of to everything, and everyone out side of Him. The fear of God is not make someone or something else our god above Him. The fear of God is reverance Him,honor thy father and thy mother like the bible states..

You can love GOD for His Salvation and Redemption of your soul through His Son Jesus Christ (YAHUSHUA). And you can love Him just for Who He is. But, at the same time you can have a Respect and a Reverential Fear of Him. Though you're a Saint and a Child of His, He is no respector of persons. He expects obedience. And He can Eternally DESTROY both the body and soul in the Everlasting Hell. He will not be mocked and He is no One to "play games" with.

there is no fear in love.

For man,The love of God is to give Him our heart to make our Father the central focus of your life and let our eyes observe His ways. For whosoever keeps his mind focused on His word, truly the love of God is perfected. This is The love of God, that we keep His commandments. The fear of God is to reverence Him, to hold Him in the highest regard. "Them that honor Me I will honor. Stand in awe, commune with your heart upon your bed, and be still." Respect Him, Hold your peace in His presence.

Is this too simple? You can fear God without loving Him, but, you can't love God without fearing Him.

scripture tells us that fearing God is the begining of a born again christian you have nothing to fear from God.just as your toddler has nothing to fear from you.but knowing who he is,what he has done for you because he loves you is something we can never truly understand,or deserve.

Love, Honor and Respect.

The love of God is to place Him above all things and all persons. The fear of God, is to know His power, His authority, His strength. and you better respect Him, Obey Him, or you in trouble.+++

Fear of God - to be in awe, of His awesome power, authority, creation, judgment.
To be in awe, fear of God, and His Word - that is alive and full of power -
active, operative, effective, sharper than any two-edged sword - penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life,
the immortal spirit, the joints and the marrow of the deepest parts of our nature.
Fear of God
Exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.

God is LOVE. God is LIGHT. God is BREATH. God gives LIFE.

Fear of God, GOD IS THE CONSUMATION OF everything, thing, every one, He holds the keys to Heaven and Hell, He is the only ONE that choses where I go for eternity. That is a good enough reason for me. SIN=HELL, RIGHTEOUSNESS=HEAVEN, Bottom line FEAR GOD.

Cynthia, You have a way of pulling questions out of my own head. When I enrolled my kids in (the only school available and not full in the area) Catholic school, I asked the person in charge, Do the children attending this school have a fear of God? He looked at me, like I did not know what I was talking about. And said, NO, God is a God of love.

That is a great question Cynthia!! I do not see how one could love God without fearing. I do see how one could fear him without loving him though. He is so very awesome and his power so undiscrible. To know his judgements is frightening and wonderful at the same time. He is all good. That is to be loved.:)Honored:)Respected:)Feared:)
