1Tim 4(all) 6If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.
7But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.
8For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
9This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation.
10For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.
11These things command and teach.

-Praise Him for His mercy and Grace-

Hello Jesus it's good to be back ministering. I love You Jesus. Thanks for choosing me out from among kings, queens, the powerful, the wise. Hallelujah. Ah Jesus, I know where I belong. Ahh.... Hypocrisy, people who pretends to have the spirit. God does not know these people. These people do not have-the truth. To have the Truth must come from the the holy spirit of the living God. Watch out for hypocrisy.

I agree with what---lee1538 on 11/26/07 has to say to this question.

The devil & his imps apposes every thing that God says. Thats doctrines of devils.

God has Only One Church with Only One salvation plan.

The devil has churches with salvation plans.( And he makes people think it is God. )

What identifies those that give heed to doctrine of demons is teachings that forbid marriage, require abstinence from certain foods, in effect promoting a type of asceticism that sets one apart from others by external conduct.

These teachings have 'an appearance of wisdom in promoting self-made religion' but 'are of no value in stopping the indulgence of the flesh.' (Col.2:23)

Often such teachers boost of visions (2:18) promoting themselves as messengers of God with a special mission.

The doctrine of devils probably means doctrines taught by demons. Such as false teachers may indulge in. Be careful when one disagrees on something that it is coming from Satan, just because you are disagreeing with it. May not be from the devil. Sometimes, if people don't understand much they may misjudge what you are saying.

An example of this is found in 2 Corinthians 11:13-15. This is very common with what is happening in the world today.

People will give heed to doctrines of devils(demons). It is alarming to a great many people that even in our very materialistic age there is a return to the things of the spirit world and a great emphasis upon it. Christians are told to try the spirits whether they are of God, because there have gone out into the world these seducing spirits(1 John 4:1) Stay clear of them, testing each spirit by its acknowledgment of the Diety of Christ.

Many great responses and examples. I ask God within the past year exactly to what this verse spoke of. His response was immediate. "Doctrines of devils are 'always' THE TRUTH(God's Word) twisted and perverted into a lie for the purpose of leading someone to destruction and even death."It is the exact 'opposite' of "SOUND DOCTRINE" which is The WORD spoken in LOVE to bring LIFE.My thanks to all.

Donna:

We are taught as children that 2+2 = 4. But this is not in the Bible.
We are taught English, but that isn't in the Bible either (the original Bible was in Hebrew and Greek).

Does this make arithmetic and English "doctrine of devils"?

The test should not be "is it in the Bible?" but rather "does it contradict the Bible?"
---StrongAxe on 11/9/07

Donna: I agree. The Left Behind Series is a Doctrine of Devils.

I agree with Whisper-every teaching that isn't in the bible is a doctrine of devils. For example, Jehovah Witnesses don't believe in the Trinity, that's a doctrine of devils. The movie Divinci Code is a doctrine of devils because it suggests Jesus was married to Mary Magdeline. Anything you believe that isn't in the bible is a doctrine of devil. I'm with Jack and Whisper on this.

It seems to me that in these last days some will teach that maggotts, worms and parasites are good for food and all you have to do is pray over a disease laden bottom dweller and it will be holy for you to consume.

Deu6:16 "Ye shall not tempt the LORD your God"

The doctrine of devils probably means doctrines taught by demons. One must be careful not to attribute everything with which he disagrees to Satan.=== Giving heed to seducing spirits. They are active. There are the deep things of Satan. >>>[Revelation 2:24]. I will try later and look up scripture.

As a matter of fact, a friend of mine emailed me yesterday that I was doing things all wrong and referred me to a website which was a HUMANIST named Roy Masters who has been around for abot 40 years as a NeW AGE liar. This is an example of a convert getting sucked into a doctrine of a demon. This man poses himself and ideas as God and proposes self help ideas of Man(his). He doesn't even mention prayer at all. ROY MASTERS can help you!(not) God can.

The devil's doctrines haven't changed much from his first lie:
From the beginning he declared that man could disobey God and not die as God said he would.
---robin8683 on 11/8/07

It seems quite clear that in these last days there will be some that teach that only certain foods are clean and that prayer doesn't sanctify all food. And some will be teaching that marriage is forbiden. Maybe some of our modern religious groups should take a hint from these Scriptures and quit teaching demonic doctrines.

Easy believism, once saved always saved, and the pre-trib rapture, among other things.
