Before Christs death, Holy Ghost only dwelled in Prophets,Priests, and Kings. John 14:17 Even the Spirit of truth,--,for he dwelleth with you and shall be in you. Acts 2:33-,and having received of the Father the promise of the HG,he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear. Acts2:4 And they were all filled with the HG,and began to speak with other tongues,-. 1Cor.6:19 -, your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you,-. Now all receive. How & who received HG is the difference.

Yes. But there is a spirit in man and It is the inspiration of the Almighty that gives him understanding. Before the cross the Holy Spirit was with man and rested upon some for their enlightenment. However after the cross Jesus went to the Father to prepared a place for us in Him and a condition within us for Him. When that place and condition was secured, He returned to take His abode within those of us who are called in chosen of HIm. Now His Spirit bear witness by our spirit that we are His children.

Before Christ came the Person of the Holy Spirit [GOD] was with His people. Now because of Jesus Christ He is with us and He is in us. We have it better than the Old Testaments Saints because of Jesus. A better way to the Father.>>++

Trinity Quiz

15. The Holy Spirit is God.
The correct answer is True.

Acts 5:3-4 - But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.

The Holy Spirit is God

Does God change?

Act 10:44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.

Holy Ghost now falls on whosoever has eyes to see and ears to hear.

That's not what I meant at all, 'Jack'.

We move away from God, He does not move away from us, He does not falter, we do.

When man falls down, the first place he should run is back to God, repent, ask His forgiveness. It's often the last resort after man has tried everything else to restore his own life.

Yes the Holy Spirit works much differently today with the believer than he did before Christ went to the cross. And I tell why I believe this is my answer to the question" will the Holy Ghost leave?"

God doesn't change or move away, why do we?**

Because, Bob, we are living in time. To be in time is to be in change.

God is thoroughly outside of time.

In His human nature, Jesus was in time, growing and changing. "And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man."

God robed his self in flesh and became the man Jesus Christ he was all God and he was all man when he died he said he would send back a comforter which was his spirt and when we repent and be babtise in jesus name his spirit comes to dewell in us and his spirit in us gives us the power to live for him because with out his spirt the bible says we are not his.

Kraus, when i say jesus is in my heart its the samething as saying that the Holy spirit is in my heart, and God the father is in my heart...

im interested in a trinitairans view on this. i beleve when your filled with the Holy Spirit it is the same Spirit of Christ since the fullness of the Godhead was in Christ Col 2:9. most trinitarians talk about Jesus in their heart but do they think the whole trinity is there? where does Spirit infilling come into the picture? remember if you have not the spirit of Christ you are none of His. Rom 8:9 are there 3 Spirits? do they all enter at the same time?

Jesusb said He would send the Holy Spirit so presumably the Holy Spirit will be doing something now that he did not do before.

Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, today and forever.
We are the only ones that move and change.

God doesn't change or move away, why do we?
