What Could We Give Jesus
Linda- What kind of gifts could we give Jesus Christ to celebrate His birth?
So, when is Jesus's birthday?

Mike, Jonestown and David Koresh's followers in Waco gave blind commitment to the men who led them instead of the the God who saved them. Those two men made their followers totally dependent on them. Karesh broke the law ,and at least some of his group knew it,by buying illegal guns. Jones and Koresh were users. Totally Commiting to God is nothing like commiting to man. You can trust God. You can't always trust man they always have their own agenda to glorify themselves not God.

Jesus wants our total commitment, He wants our trust, our love, and obedience. He wants us to love others and share with them the 'good news' of how they too,can be saved. He wants us to serve others with joy.
These are the gifts that Jesus wants from us.

**The wise men brought gifts, what would Jesus like from us?**
Read the words of the hymn "In the bleak midwinter."

The Lord is coming back for his bride.
With that in mind I think we could give him our best attempt to show everything his word declares a bride to be. A chaste virgin unspotted by this world that he will be anxious to come rescue. In every area trying our best to "go twain" for him with no regard of what we want or how much it inconveniences us.

What does Jesus want for Christmas?
Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am,
that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me:
for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

What Jesus wants most for Christmas is that His children be gathered in and then get what they want most - to see His glory.
What I want most for Christmas this year is to join you in seeing Christ in all his fullness and that we together be able to love what we see with a love far beyond our own half-hearted human capacities.

To begin with Christmas is not and never was the celebration of christ birth. It was started by the Roman Catholic Church as a socalled substitute for the birthday of the Sun god Mithrs. The only good gift we can give Him is the same as He gave us. Present your bodies a Living sacrifice, deny yourself and follow Him to the fullest.

Blessings LL, The greatest gift we could give Christ is our submission and obedience to HIM. To spread the good news of the Gospel, and to love Him, as He first loved us. To give to others as Christ has given to us. Always to keep HIM first in our life, and to honor Him and to praise Him, for He is so worthy of our praise. God Bless!

Our obedience, which proves our love for Him.

his 10%, yet only if you believe, and honour it in your heart

The greatest gift is the gift of LIFE and to give this to Christ means increasing His body by doing Gods Will and spreading the Good Word, as Christ did.

According to Rom 12:1 we could give our bodies as a living sacrifice to do service for the Lord.
