It was hard for me to bend down to tie my shoes etc., now I have No prob. I eat some sugar-free stuff & you canNot go crazy on it either, some of the substitute ingrnt's has fat & calories also.
You Do Have To Exercise. I mostly get out to walk. I have damaged shoulders rotator cuffs & I'm not able to much upper body exercises.

I am making better food choices. And so is my husband(which helps). No more once a week big macs or doughnuts.Later, when I'm at my ideal weight, once in a while I will treat myself, but right now, I am on a mission. God wants me to be healthy, but I have choices.

Jennifer, I have repeated to myself,"nothing tastes as good as feeling thin". It helps! Thanks

Nancy, I am going to look into gallstones. thank you and all of you who have been kind and encouraging. Thanks so much for not passing judgment.

Keep an account of what you eat--if you get heartburn after eating fried/greasy foods, it's possible that you might have gallstones, especially if you have pain with the attacks.

Checking for gallstones is really easy--it's just a simple ultrasound--and it's important to rule out as they can cause damage to the pancreas.

Just a word to the wise from one who's been there. And good luck.

Kella, your symptoms suggest that you could have a hiatus hernia. This is more common in people who are overweight. There are medications and an operation (if necessary) that can ease the pain if this the cause of your problem. I will also pray for you in this matter. God bless.

Kella...I tried the medication for acid reflux and the side effects were worse than the acid reflux. When I gave up tomatoes completely, the problem was solved. Also, giving up chocolate will help. Yes, I know that's the hard part (LOL). And those mints that we use thinking they help actually cause it to be worse. Losing weight helps in all health matters also.

I pray that you receive the healing power of the Word of the Lord?

Losing the heartburn is simple, get rid of the grease (excess fats) and caffeine.

Your esophagus will repair itself if you manage your diet properly and eat smaller portions.

Kella. Exchanging some of the more rich foods for some fruits and vegies will not only help you lose weight but will also help you to not be so hungry while you're losing it. God bless you to be healed.

It is acceptable to ask God to help us to eat correctly and make the right choices in what we eat. God is able to help us do anything. He said in His Word we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us..Phillipians 4:13. God is a creative and wonderful God. We should stop trying to limit God in what He can do for us.You can pray for yourself also.May God bless you and continue to grow in the Lord

Yes, Kella, I understand the excess fat can push against your stomach to press the gastric juices up as reflux. Yucky, eh? Our motive needs to be to please God, not only to be more comfortable so we can do what we want. It helps me to always sense for what the Lord has me doing. This seeking to submit to God keeps my mind busy with other than food. And I have lost weight with not much physical activity...just resting in His guiding > He simply does not lead me to food much (o:

Just repeat the following:

Nothing taste as good as it feels to be thin!

Good luck.
