God is completely powerful, completely loving, completely perfect. Would you give up on saving a drowning victim you'd warned 100 times? Would you stand on the shore and 'tsk-tsk' as they suffered?
If you, as a mere human being, would have the compassion to forgive, what would our perfect God do?
God is with all of us, even the folks some of you believe are beneath you. God has never lost a soul yet...and He never will. |

The only way a person can get saved at anytime is if Jesus is convicting them of their sins. Meaning he has to be drawing them to him. One can't say Lord save me, if the spirit isn't dealing/drawing them to the Lord. It is dangerous to wait until a person is on their death bed to call on the Lord to be saved, it may just be too late. A person can't get saved anytime they want to. |

Death bed salvation is possible if one is born of the Spirit before he physically dies. Example: Thief on the cross.
1cor 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
A man cannot know God until he is born again of the Spirit of God. Until then he is spiritually dead and cannot respond, accept Christ, etc.
Salvation is not man's choice. |

Repentance and salvation are different. On your deathbed you might repent and wish to go to Heaven. However, it is TOO LATE. Those who rejected Christ all their lives cannot, in my opinion, be saved by calling out 'Lord, Lord' on their death beds. (By this I do not mean they that were deceived by their church or religion I mean ones that chose evil over good) |

There's a story in the Bible about men being hired to work the fields. Some went to work early in the morning. Others at dinner, and still others later, but all receive the same wages for the day. If you understand this story and its application, you will understand that YES!!! You can be saved on your deathbed. |

Jesus did not tell the thief you will be with me in heaven tomorrow or tewnty years from this day. JesuS said, "TODAY YOU will be with me in heaven". [paradise] TODAY. You soul will never die it lives on. At the moment you take your last breath. Hell or heaven it goes. OUCH THAT'S HOT. |

YES,My Father would have ALL come unto him, IF they are WILLING... MANY in the BIBLE came to Salvation on their Death Beds. The Theif on the cross is a Good Example. GOD KNOWS THE HEART OF MEN and IF their Sincere! |

Yes! But seldom is it true repentance. God most always saves people because He has work for you to do down here. Would not it be nice if He saved us and then took us right on up to heaven. Out of hell on this earth and right on up to glory. Not God's general plans. |

The thief didn't go to heaven the day he died. He didn't go into the Kingdom. He told Jesus to remember him when he came into his kingdom. Jesus' kingdom hadn't come down yet. So how can the thief be in the kingdom when Jesus went away to prepare a place for us? |

Jesus promised the repentant thief on the cross that he would see paradise the very day of his death. Paul teaches that, for belivers, being absent from the body means being present with CHRIST. Praise GOD. >>>Lets remember. Bodily death does not end the accountability of rebellious humans before the holy tribunal of GOD. The Bible uses the word death at times to describe the wrath of God visited upon unbelievers in the afterlife. Though this helli |

Jesus Christ is life.
Doctrines and traditions of men, added on to the Words of Jesus Christ, written in red, paid in full by His blood -
are spiritual death. |

There are some on these blogs that cannot pull themselves out of a deep rut of spiritual error that they have fallen into.
We know them by the words of their testimonies. There is no victory, there is nothing but empty words of misery and woeful cries written in coded scripts, written day after day and year after year. |
|
---Cindy on 2/18/08 |
They are lying on spiritual death beds and have been unable to pull themselves up and crawl over to the pool of healing.
They would rather die defending spiritual error than give it up, it is spiritual death. |

You can be saved from that spiritual death bed that you are lying in.
You can be saved from that perpetual state of death that you write from, each and every day.
Death where is thy sting?
You're going to have to leave your spiritual death bed behind, get up and walk or die in that bed that has held you hostage for decades.
That spiritual bed is a bed of death. |
|
---Cindy on 2/18/08 |
Yes, I agree with Cindy. If you have been a Satan worshipper all your life, on your deathbed you might as well have a go, and see if it works. You have nothing to lose. |
|
---frances on 2/17/08 |
I don't think you can plan ahead to have a deathbed conversion. If God calls you and you reject him, that is it folks. Your choice. Your bed, you lie in it. Just like the chance to help or to hinder the people of God comes along and you choose. Salvation is today. Don't bank on having time to repent. You may go out like a light, due to violence. Always be living the truth. |

The thief called on the Name of the Lord and the murderer did not.
Jesus Christ is life. To add man's stipulations about man's ideas of who Jesus Christ will listen to, is death. |

I don't believe in soul sleep or other SDA interpretations of the Word. I don't believe in cheap grace vs. costly grace, or eternal security, inclusion or religious churchy manmade gospels. I don't believe in man's purpose driven goals over the sacrifice that Jesus Christ paid, for all. Jesus paid the price for all.
To anyone facing death, call on the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. |
|
---Cindy on 2/17/08 |
Cindy: While I do agree with all you've said. But you must remember that God has to convict that person of their sins first. They can call upon God all to save them but unless he is dealing with their heart, they won't be saved (convert over to Christ). |

To all those attending college, living in a dorm, remember that you can cry out to Jesus Christ at any time to save your soul. To all those working as a bank teller, driving an armored truck...therapists counseling criminally insane... To courtroom judges and court reporters... Police officers and firemen To soldiers in Baghdad..
REMEMBER, YOU CAN CRY ON THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AT ANY TIME...
JESUS CHRIST WILL SAVE YOU in your final moments. |

L.A., CA that might find themselves in an earthquake NYC....Houston, Orlando, Seattle, everywhere inbetween
REMEMBER, JESUS CHRIST WILL SAVE YOU when death is staring you in the face.
Religion, manmade false doctrines will tell you contrary,
but REMEMBER, IN AN EMERGENCY, earthquake, hail of bullets, going down with the ship, sickness or disease, old age..
IT IS NEVER TOO LATE, JESUS CHRIST WILL SAVE YOU IF YOU CRY UPON HIS PRECIOUS NAME with your final breath. |

Pacific to the Atlantic To all the nations... Afghanistan Iraq Iran Israel
The Hand of God is not too short that He cannot save you. Cry upon the Name of Jesus Christ.
Facing a war, volcano, tornado, or a lion - it is never too late. Jesus wants you and the choice is yours. |

Yes. But seldom is it real repentance. True repentance. Remember God chooses. Not impossible, nothing is with God. Never think, well, I will get saved tomorrow, because tonight, God may take your life. |

Yes. Yesterday there was another deadly college shooting. Students ran for their lives.
Yes, you can be saved when death is staring you in the face. |

It's possible, but, we are warned in the Scriptures that "TODAY is the day of Salvation." It is never wise to put off Salvation until some "future time" for you're running your own soul at risk. GOD will not be mocked. If He says "Choose ye this day Whom ye will serve", then He means just that, and GOD simply is not a "game" player. Your soul is much too valuable. Don't risk "putting it off 'til the 'last minute'"! |

Yes, a person can be saved at anytime they call Jesus.(ACTS 16:31) However, having worked in the medical field over 20 years, and seeing more people die than I can remember, I can tell you don't wait for the last minute, because most weren't calling on Jesus for salvation. |
|
---Debbie on 2/14/08 |
It is possible, but I wouldn't want to take that chance. Because God may not save that person. Not everyone that says, "Lord Lord" will make it into heaven. A person shouldn't gamble with their life with God. It is a dangerous thing to fall in the hands of a Living God. |

Yes!! Yes!! Yes!! Have been involved with at least three cases where the person was on their deathbed. And I heard with my ear them call on the Lord Jesus Christ for their salvation. If John 6:37 is true those people are in heaven this hour. |
