I don't know who this is, but if you don't follow what the Bible teaches, then anything outside of that is probably unbiblical . . .

I have uncovered the following facts about Norman Vincent Peale.
He was a 33 Mason.
He approved of the Mormon Church and once ask President Kimball(former president of the Mormon Church)" will you bless me" because he thought Kimball was so spiritual!

Peale was a "Positive Thinker." He started "Guideposts" magazine. As Susie said, he died in 1993 when he was in his 90's.

Normen Vincent Peale was a godly christen man who more or less started the self improvement movement(recent) from a solid christian foundation. Later in his life he lost a dearly loved child, this threw his life into an extended period of questioning. Still very worthwhile learning from.

Ah...... Paul is appealing but Peale is appalling.

And Robert Schuler (Crystal Cathedral) is a disciple of Norman Vincent Peale. However, I think that at times the gospel message does sneak thru occasionally.

It is a good idea to have many mentors and not just a few.

Norman Vincent Peale is an elderly preacher who has been around many years. I always assumed he was a Christian but he seems to have fallen away from the true gospel and teachings of Christ over the years. If he has fallen away from the truth we should avoid him and his beliefs like the plague.

Rebecca D ... A Google search reveals he wrote The Power of Positive Thinking" and other books.
He supposedly wrote them as a Christian.
I've read none of them, so can't agree or disagreew ith Mod's assessment.
