He sure hasn't blessed me.

Spiritual blessings are of the Lord God (Ephesians 1:3). Carnal desire pitfall rewards are of His agent, Satan (Matthew 4:9).
---Dee on 6/13/15

Satan tempts and seduces with what appeals to our human or flesh nature. Blessings can only be given out of a motive of love and kindness. God wants to bless us because that is in His nature. Satan wants to destroy all of God's creation, especially everyone who submits to the rule and authority of Jesus Christ, because that is in Satan's nature. Satan's ultimate aim is to sabotage, ruin and destroy all of God's creation except himself and his evil army as a means of getting back at God for throwing him and the demons/evil spirits out of Heaven. God cares for you and wants to bless you more than you can imagine. Satan despises you and looks at you with contempt and if you accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, he takes notice of you as an enemy.
---Mark_Rowley on 4/12/15

I did not do a very good job on this the other-day. Will try again>>Yes, Satan blesses people. God blesses everyone. For the lost He lets the rain fall on your head. And He allows you to go on living for one more minute. God's blessings for His people comes in many ways. Beginning with Salvation. If you are truly saved, you are indeed the most blessed in the land.
---catherine on 11/13/09

Sorry Mima, I assume that is a given that God Blesses in all ways.

Satan imitates Gods Blessings (as I posted in my correction) they are to lead you astray and make you comfortable on Earth.

I always use the examples God gave us. In this case he gave us the Family structure. Your parents can give you anything but do not give something that is not age appropriate or that would lead you in the wrong direction. But your children are exposed to evil temptations that do not adhere to this Love and would give it to your kids now for their immediate pleasure leading to their destruction. (Sorry I only have 125 words)
---Pastor_Jim on 11/10/09

Satan is the soul blesser of his people. God only has His benevolence love for the lost. He blesses them through the rain that falls on their head, the sun that come in their eyes, and He, God, allows you to go on living one more second in this world. That's it. For the saved God has what we call the complacent love. Which is affection, admiration, for His people. In otherwords, God has GREAT LOVE for His chosen people.
---catherine on 11/10/09

How does this statement by Pastor Jim,
"YES he does!
Today his blessings are the material world and its conveniences."

Square with this statement from Deuteronomy
Deuteronomy 8:18" But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day"
---mima on 11/10/09

YES he does!
Today his blessings are the material world and its conveniences. To entice you not carry your Cross, He says: I can give you heaven now. He said the same to Jesus. Thank Jesus he did not listen and obeyed God or we will all be burning in hell. Jesus could have had all the kingdoms and glory of Satan (Fame/Fortune), but instead obeyed his Father to the Cross. Our Gospel!
Remember also that Satan appears beautiful and enticing. Easy to resist an ugly demon. He appeared to Eve as a Bright Beautiful Angelic Being. The Hebrew word in that scene is Nahash (Bright Angelic Being)KJV mistranslated it. The fruit offered was the most beautiful in the Garden. So we need to Pray often for protection from this temptation/deception.
---PASTOR_JIM on 11/9/09

CORRECTION TO MY POST... These are NOT Blessings since these come from God and his Elect. They are deceptions of Blessings.

I want to make that clear.
---Pastor_Jim on 11/9/09

No, he has no blessing in him to give.
---Eloy on 11/6/09

Satan gives his evil gifts to people, that is one reason why children of God should avoid ceremonies/associations of Satanic people. Some people that you see today exhibiting chronic evil behaviours got them somewhere through contact with some satanic agents or through evil inheritance. Thank God, Jesus does deliver from all evil. WATCH AND PRAY.
---Adetunji on 11/6/09

I don't think Satan blesses people. I feel the people who follow Satan are usually very sad behind close doors they never find true happiness even though they have all the worldly possessions. Most people who worship the devil for material gain usually say they have a hard time sleeping at night. When I see true Christians they are usually happy no matter what.
---Angela on 11/5/09

Satan does infact bless his people, by using demonic influence, opening doors for his people to possess. after all he wants the soul, he is not after money, or worldly possessions, but he using it to deceive one. he also sends people in your life to destroy you, everybody you come in contact with is not sent by Jehovah Jirah. Jesus said my sheep hear my voice, john 10:27. when satan does anything for his ppl he comes as an angel of light, 2 cor 11:14 to deceive for his own purpose, unjust ppl also live in nice housing receive promotions and money and awards and hate GOD.
---catherine on 3/22/09

By his nature, Satan is incapable of blessing. It requires holiness to bless and he is unholy.
---jody on 5/12/08

Satan can't bless anyone,in fact he is the only one as of now that is destined to hell.
The only thing Satan is looking for is your Soul.Who is the father of Lies & Deception?
Satan is.
---Gabby8758 on 5/10/08

just as the word prosperity or treasures are different,so is the word blessings.satan cant bless anyone.why because his ultimate goal is to DESTROY YOU. so if you think satan blesses anyone you walking down the path of destruction in your say satan blesses is a ridiculous may think non believers,or evil doers are blessed because they have money,or looks ,or material possessions, but actually all they have is DEATH.

No. Satan is an angel. Angels only have the power that God gives them for their particular mission. Satan is in no position to do anything to anyone.
2 Peter 2:4, Jude 1:6
---Chip on 4/16/08

If his blessings will take a person's focus off Christ the devil will bless people beyond their wildest imagination.
---Frank on 4/16/08

evil doers prosper?I think not.for what does it profit a man if he gain the whole world ,but loose his soul?the worlds idea of prosperity, and GODS definition of prosperity are vastly is carnal the other spiritual.the treasures jesus spoke of aren,t physical.
---tom2 on 4/15/08

I once put out a question on yahoo that
said,"Why doesn't satan repent if in the
end he is going to loose?" The answere I
got back was,"Repent, are you crazy!
We have almost won this war"! Satan
has decieved some in believing they
will be rewarded when he rules.

Satan appears to bless. The evil-doer always seems to prosper, and while they do evil, there are many victims of their evils. Satan is the adversary of Christians and so is out to get rid of Christians, preferably by having them worship him. Satan bribes people with material good, and worldly power, and status. The way to Heaven is narrow and few will make it.
---frances008 on 4/15/08

Often things can be a blessing or a curse. Money can be a blessing, or a curse depending on an individual's relationship with money, and God. God blesses, Satan tries to buy people off.
---dan on 4/14/08

I must disagree, jesus spoke about rich people and from what he said it was far from a bledding to be rich.the young man at the sermon on the mount was told to give away everything and join jesus. he didn,t ,he went away sad.jesus also said you cant serve 2 masters, and the needle camel thing.but NO SATAN DOES NOT BLESS.
---tom2 on 4/14/08

only God is in the blessing business.satan comes to kill, steal, and destroy, and is a liar.

Absolutely! Although, Satan's "blessings" are not the type to bring lasting peace, contentment and joy. If by 'blessing', you mean showing favor to some more then others, then YES he certainly does advance some to further his own ends. How many can be blessed with prosperity and stay true to God? Satan loves to make people rich who will then use their wealth and influence on his side.
---Lily-Anne on 4/10/08

Uhm, no, absolutely not. He disguises himself, cleverly, as an angel of light, but he does not bless people.
---tabit8547 on 4/8/08

Yes, I have heard people say, "God has really blessed me". And these were unbelievers. Ofcourse, noone is going to say, "Satan has blessed me". God is good to everybody. He lets the sun rise and go down. God lets the rain come down. All of these wonderful things now, He does do for the unbelievers as well as for the believers. God also allows some people to go on living in perhaps they may be saved.
---catherine on 3/13/08

BLESS=1.To make Holy or Sacred. 2.ask Gods Favour for. 3.wish good, feel grateful, make happy.4.Praise or Glorify.5.Guard Protect. 6. Make the sign of the cross over.
Now ask yourself the question, if the above question has any relation to the word BLESS.Knowing that he is the Father of Liars.Blessing is a favour granted by God.

Satan doesn't really bless anyone. He just tries to convince them he does.Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
---shirley on 3/12/08

1) I totally believe that Satan blesses people, in order to deceive them into thinking that they are doing everything right and they are at peace with God and the world. Of course, in the end is death. I even know Christians who are not in God's will, yet it appears they are being blessed and because they feel they are being blessed, it keeps them doing what they are doing, thinking they are right with God, when in actuality, they are being deceived by Satan to keep them stuck out of God's will,
---Holly4jc on 3/12/08

2) thinking they are ok with God, with no need to change. This is one of the tricks Satan uses against people. I especially see this with people in church who have a tendancy to be "self-made" or the kind of people who use manipulation to get what they want. They get what they were after and then turn around and call it a blessing from God and tell you...see...God blessed me for that, when it really was their own efforts that brought the success, not God. Total deceit from the enemy.
---Holly4jc on 3/12/08

As pocketbooks tighten, God's children will learn to trust in God's perfect provision that only God can give.
Provision will be a miracle. Economic pressure will be turning many back to God. The squeeze is here.

The devil hates the Bible. He's manipulating the world to reject and downgrade its' authority.

Lost souls are going to turn back to the source of all blessings. Many will grow faint but the direct truth of God's Word will draw them back to His blessings.

Supremancy of Jesus Christ over satan.

No mention of satan's defeat can leave out the Cross, "Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them."

The Resurrection of Jesus Christ is the single event of all time that devastated the prince of darkness.

Satan is limited to lying about his prestige and position.

No Blessing, ONLY Cursing!
He's the Father of ALL Lies,
He can give you the things of this World though, BUT, that's FAR from a Blessing!
---Duane_Dudley_Martin on 3/11/08

For sure!!! I had everything of this world life could offer, I mean everything. They were all distractions from the real deal. My mum has sold her soul to the devil and is one of the most successful and wealthy in women in Australia. Based on personal experience its possible

Some churches are thriving today. These preachers will get up and tell everyone that God is blessing this church. Ofcourse, NO sane preacher is going to say Satan is blessing this church. But they should because, It would be the truth. God is never going to bless a false preacher and his church. He hates them too much.Satan has his own churches.

Oh yeah. The NY Gov would probably have something to say about falling off the mountain today. He didn't take the chairlift down, or even take a ride around the horn. Whoops, he probably didn't see that one coming, but that creepy serpent probably did.
---Cindy on 3/10/08

No, he does not bless anyone. After he takes you to the top of the mountain, he'll be more than delighted to throw you off of it.
If he helps take you to the top of the food chain, he'll help you greet others on your fall down from the top.

God's people are not allowed to do as the wicked man does in taking care of their problems. God simply will not allow it. Heaven is just too wonderful of a place to miss. And HELL is a most awful place to go to. I am finding all of this out. IN answering the question. Satan will and does bless his people. Come on, the wicked man has to aquire their money somehow.
---catherine on 3/10/08

Leslie: remeber that satan took Jesus to another high mountain and showed all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor and said "All this I will give you if you bow down and worship me." So satan can give away what is his, and he is the prince of this world.

As others spoke, Satan is a liar and a master of deception. We must understand that God is so pure and His word so sure that even Satan can use it. A book written on satanic cults ("The Challenging Counterfit") addresses this. It is a fact that non-Christians can be rewarded by God's word if they 'believe' what they read will come true. It is God that blesses and heals. Not Satan.
---mikefl on 3/7/08

It seems to me that crooks, and those who do not have Christian or even human consideration for their fellow men prosper more in this world.

But does that mean they are blessed.

But any gain is illusory, and counts as nothing in the long eternal term.

"Lay up you treasures in heaven, not in this world"
---alan_of_UK on 3/7/08

How do you define 'Bless'?
---John1944 on 3/7/08

It might appear that Satan blesses those who bow down to him but that is all part of his deceit. Satanists, witches, mediums etc. seem to prosper in this world and others are drawn into the web because of this. When people try to leave Satan's clutches they realise what a curse it all was and their lives are blighted unless they seek Christ. Those who remain with Satan in this life will be cast into Hell with him when this one is over. Some blessing ey!!

Satan blesses his own people. Satan offered Jesus the world if He would bow just once to him. Satan also blesses unsaved preachers. So, not all blessings comes from God. Satan also blesses. God is not the least bit interested in blessing wicked people and or wickedness.
---catherine on 3/7/08

Well, Satan can provide for the desires of the flesh and certain worldly "fame and fortune" and certain kinds of "power" for those who promise to follow him. But, in the very end, it will all come back to BITE them, in Hell. Satan hates EVERYONE, even those who serve and follow him. Nice guy, huh?
---Gordon on 3/7/08

GOD IS the ONLY source for blessing. Satan ONLY brings curses. Even if you choose to bless Satan instead of God, Satan will only return curses to you.
---Leslie on 3/6/08

No, he does not. That is his greatest deception for those who worship him.

He mocks and laughs at his followers. He will possess them with doubt, blasphemy. He will afflict them rage, cruelty, hate, revenge, bitterness, jealousy, envy, strife, fear, control, pride, lust, defilement, perversion, and every form of bondage.

Satan cannot bless, but he can possess.

Satan will send them delusion, entice them to leave God's covering and protection.

That delusion includes idolatry and whoredoms.
Materialism, false gods and heathen deities.
Harlotry, whoredoms, offering temptations and snares, objects of strong devotion - money. He uses love of position, social standing to tempt.
He afflicts with crude insults and disputes. He uses unclean spirits to vex someone to cut themselves, imprison them with addictions.
