I was 23 and he was 29. will be celebrating 9th anniversary 11th of Dec. have 3 beautiful kids. I thank the Lord for that and I think that the right age is when you feel ready and you've got the right person you've asked from God.

I was 18 and he was 21. This year will be our 10th wedding anniversary. We had been dating since I was 14. I didn't want to live with him until we were married and already knew he was the ONE. As soon as I was able, legally, I was in that dress :) We have 3 wonderful kids and I can't believe it has already been 10yrs.

IMHO I believe Marriage is an institution of God His rules and a firm desire to please each other, to their hearts content. The most important ingredient is the contract before God and the desire of BOTH parties to see the contract Fulfilled. There will always be trials but they are always solveable by HIS love which you both share uppermost. The other requirement is self control, which produces Change strengthening the bond of Love.Last but not least is EXAMPLE in your life with your children.

The age to get married is when you are a mature Christian and know yourself, and then have met somebody who you know to be a good person, who is willing to commit to marriage sooner rather than later. Falling in love is at best irrelevant. But chemistry helps. Love can come later.

I married (before I was a Christian) at 19 and my ex-husband was 23...we were married almost 13 years. I'm now 50 and divorced for 18 years and still single (never remarried). I think if you are a Christian, the best age/time to get married is when God tells you to. He knows best! :-)
