Are We To Rule Outspace

GOD commanded people to rule the earth. The entire world has spent a lot of money on exploring outer space. Many good things have come from this investment. Example: satellite-based telecommunications. Do you think that GOD wants us to rule outer space too?

Nixon and JFK were the only non-freemasons to be President in living memory. The occult NASA projects are all mind control. Stealing money from the public to pay for weapons development, and spy satellites with (lying)UFOs as the next new enemy.

In the USA, news reports have decried former President Richard Nixon's decision to trim the space program.

For example, the space shuttle has never permitted any exploration beyond the Earth's orbit and was a stupid project.

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) now envisions sending people to the moon for long-term space "conditioning".

Mars will be the first planet to be colonized by NASA. After that comes . . . Jupiter ???

We're not even doing a good job ruling Earth. God forbid we mess with other planets.

The heavens and the earth are the LORD'S, yet, the earth He has given unto the children of men. My prayer and desire is to truly allow my mind to be opened to receive and exercise the dominion man has already been given, that I may receive the wisdom, knowledge and understanding to exercise that dominion effectively. Knowing this, The LORD "has put all things in subjection under man, He has left nothing [that is] not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him."

I believe when man perfects what God has required of us, To love the Lord Thy God with all of thine heart, and to love our enemies and pray for them, to turn the other cheek, to forgive and it shall be forgiven thee, etc., etc., etc., THEN we should think about SEEKING GOD and ASKING Him "do you NEED us to do anything else for you Lord?"

"Stinktastic" a GREAT word to coin Nancy! That about describes how we've treated the planet that God gave us!

Our debt in this country is embarrassing! I consider money spent on the 'space program' as a rediculous waste. Yes, we help other countries, and of course spend untold amounts on Bush's war. But what about feeding, clothing, housing people in our OWN country? It's a shame that people in the US are starving and so many living on the streets. No health care, often for even the elderly. We will be judged.

Human faith convinces itself with the mind, that we are vital in the heavenly atmospheres. Mental conviction convinces itself that man carries the power.

God is Sovereign. Man can harness electricity. Man should never forget that God charges the atmospheres with electricity. God can shut it off.

God could pluck the stars from the sky and evict all visitors from the heavenlies, if He wants to. He could clean His windows with heavenly waters and remove all traces of dust from His view.

Considering what a stink-tastic job we've done on this planet, I sincerely doubt God would give us the care of another world.

Empty space, maybe, but not a world.

"Earth first--we'll strip mine the other planets later."
Seen on a bumper sticker.

I believe that the sun, planets, etc. were created by GOD. I don't believe in evolution. I find it hard to believe that some people believe that everything was created in a Big Bang.

I believe that we are free to explore and use things. However, I also believe that we have the "responsibility" to use things wisely.

I think that we still have a lot to learn about making wise use of the things on Earth. It will be a long, long time before we can rule another planet, like Mars.

Have mere mortals done that good a job of ruling the earth?
---Jack on 3/29/08

actually, while we live earth is our home, after seath we shall be with god in heaven.exploring is a natural thing with man. but with the distances invovlved,I would say OUTER is not a good discription of our study.we now see 15 billion light years into space with hubble telescope,do you comprehend that distance?amd the time it would take to travel there? now whats beyond that?several billion more 15 billion light year distances? or possibly an infinite continuing universe?
---tom2 on 3/29/08

part2, so since we cant seem to even run this planet correctly, and better yet our own lives ,and minds, how do you propose we rule this infinite universe?
---tom2 on 3/29/08

NASA is an organization of the devil. It steals the peoples' money, and that money just disappears, unaccounted for. They have not been to the moon yet. How could they rule outer space? It is ridiculous. Don't worry about the devil, God has beaten him up already.
---frances008 on 3/29/08

The question is whether this will apply to planets with intelligent, moral, and spiritual beings comparable to ourselves--if indeed such there be.

How would you like it if outsiders came and try to take over YOUR home on grounds that God had told them to rule?

1) Right now the world is using its efforts in a way that is worst than putting the cart before the horse, where at least the horse could push the cart.

But the world spends its resources in a way that is equivalent to putting the horse beside the cart where the horse is useless, not being able to push or pull the cart leaving it motionless.

The Cart = our spiritual pursuits
And the horse = our spiritual focus
So first things first:

2) I believe that He wants us to rule first, by subduing & having dominion, over the earth.

This does not mean that we cant do things in space. But we should be taking every discovery from our explorations and focusing their use toward spiritual unity.

God wants us to follow His commandments, the first of which is Gen.1:28 but we have not even accomplish the first part of that commandment, which is to be quantifiably fruitful on the earth, which will take spiritual unity on the earth.
---Shawn.M.T on 3/28/08

Perhaps this scripture will give us the answer. Ephesians 2:2" wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to THE PRINCE OF THE POWER OF THE AIR, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:"

---Mima on 3/28/08

I find fault with the question with regard to the term "RULE" we are just temporary tenants who can use of some resources while we are here but there is more of the Earth we can't control then we can control. We maybe able to do like was in non earth locations, but effective utilization of planetary & lunar bodies is still a long time in the future.
