I'm still praying for Paul, Alan. Having seen my nephew in this situation I understand how he and his parents are suffering. My nephew went off his meds and stopped eating, when put in the hospital the last time he weighed less than 100 lbs. Back on his meds and functioning well for the past year, he's back up to his normal weight of about 165, he's over 6 feet tall.
---NVBarbara on 4/18/08

Alan so sorry to hear about the friends son who got off meds. It is so sad ,he didn't have the reasoning to know they were good for him,and that is what happens many times with schizophernics, they lose touch with reality and have no perception of whats good for them, and get off their meds. I will be praying for him may God help him and his parents. Its hard on a family.

My freinds son, Paul, came off the medication that kept his schitzophrenia under control. He went missing, when picked up by police, they needed CS gas to subdue him.
He's now in a secure hospital, accepting he needs help.
Please pray for quick restoration of health, and his acknowledgement that he does need medication as part of the way God looks after him.

Susie: The doc gave me a diuretic, and I try to exercise. Hard to do because I ache terribly.
---Trish9863 on 4/17/08

Trish, what are you doing for your edema that helps you the best? I fight this also.
---Susie on 4/16/08

Hi there everybody. I got my car back last week. My body is still reeling from the cellulitis. I have really bad edema, with my arthritis acting up now. I feel so bad tonight, it is awful. Hopefully, it will clear up soon. Sure could use some prayers.

Bill, your blogs always make me hungry!
From here, it looks like YOU are doing better with GOD, rather than the other way 'round! I'm so gratified for you that a friendship has been healed. Once something is bonded back together, its usually stronger than before. God help us all be humble. TY for sharing, God bless.

Things in life, which need to be taken care of, it's a case of when it rains it pours. Mom and I went to Dentist, she has two teeth which need pulled, and Dentist said all of mine do,not now, but soon as I can. If I didn't have ability to walk in faith God will order things for me I would get very anxious about all thats coming up, such as 11 more apointments with doctors in next couple months including Carpel Tunnel surgery June 10 and appointment Thursday for abcessed tooth and earache. Praise God Always.

Susie, so sorry to hear of the big gap in your life that loosing your friend will bring. We just have to accept it as God's plan and move on, but I know that doesn't keep us from missing them. God bless as you grieve, but joy comes in the morning.
---NVBarbara on 4/10/08

It's been a strange couple of weeks. I just received word that my closest and dearest friend passed away this morning. She was 92. Her birthday was the day after our pastor's birthday who just passed away. She was an incredible woman who was born blind and yet played the piano and was an evangelist as a young woman. God is calling HIS saints home.
---Susie on 4/9/08

Trish, of course I'll be praying for you,may all be well for you and you have wellness and peace in your body.
---Darlene_1 on 4/9/08

We just returned from the Homecoming Celebration for the pastor who performed our marriage. He was 92. He had been ill for a few years. His wife said she patted him and said, "Honey, I love you." He opened his eyes for the first time in days and smiled at her. Then he took his last breath. Please pray for her as it is hard for her to lose this man she has been married to for 63 years. At 91, she is amazing and continues to drive even in the Vegas traffic, but she still needs our prayers.
---Susie on 4/4/08

April will be an interesting month. On the 7th I will turn 60. OUCH! That hurt! But, since I plan on living to be 120, I am only middle aged now.

To Catherine, with Love,

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters, He restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You art with me, Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
---deb on 4/3/08

Rebecca, you are in my prayers. It isn't easy to be in pain. God bless you.
---deb on 4/3/08

I would appreciate your prayers as I have not only developed bronchitis, but cellulitis. I injured my leg while visiting my granddaughter and it developed into an infection. Please pray for healing in both my leg and my lungs.

Darlene, that is my Sister in law in the pix with me, she's nowhere near my MIL's age! No fear I won't tell her! :-) Sue is my sis in law and a best friend! She is Filipino, she and my brother married almost 30 years ago when he was stationed in Manila.
As for me, it was the end of a LONG Thanksgiving Day and I was tired, plus I HATE having my pix taken!

Darlene: My car is in the shop getting fixed, and I am sick with bronchitis. Not fun, but I could be worse. I am grateful that I have car insurance and that I walked away from the accident and that I got to see the munchkin for a week prior to wrecking my car. :)

I went to my family Doctor today. And he is sending me to another Specialist in another state to see if I do have Painful Bladder Syndrome. If I do, then the treatment could be painful and a long process. If not, then Praise God. And this Specialist can determine what type of kidney stones I have, there are medicines that will dissolve the stones. If I knew there was medicines that could dissolve these stones, I'd already be taking them. My Urologist didn't tell me that. I'm hangin' in there.
