Roosevelt's Pearl Harbor

President Roosevelt knew about the planned Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor (1941) in advance. Yet, President Roosevelt didn't inform the Pearl Harbor military staff. Thousands of people died and extensive damage occurred. Wasn't this irresponsible behavior by one of GOD's leaders?

Augie ... WW11 was not an American War!
It was not started because of American issues, like the others you list.
WW1 started in Europe in 1939, and it took some years for the USA to get involved, and that was because Japan attacked the US.
So for the US it was a defensive war.

And fro Great Britain, it was defensive war, which we entered to stop Hitler taking over the whole of Europe (which at the time some Americans thought #would be a good idea)

Leon:

You sure know what you are saying.

I studied up on USA history. The reasons for the following wars seem to be shockingly similar to Pearl Harbor:

Mexican War (1836)
Spanish American War (1898)
World War II (1941)
Bay of Pigs (1961)
Vietnam War (1964)
Iraq War (2001)

Golly Jeez! I thought the USA only went to war for clearly legitimate, defensive reasons.

I was wrong. I am not sure why GOD allowed these seemingly "unjust" wars to happen.

Churchill desperately wanted the U.S. to join the fight in WWII. But it was unpopular to post-WWI Americans. FDR (a professional politician) needed a way to enlist the popular support of the nation to enter the war, so Pearl Harbor... Was it irresponsibility or a well thought out, calculated behavior by one who God allowed to lead the U.S.? Unfortunately, FDR wasn't the first or (since then) the last world leader to sacrifice his people for the sake of a political agendas.

Do a Google search on the following:

Roosevelt "Pearl Harbor"

The Japanese naval attack force was tracked by several nations:

Soviet Union
British
Australia
Netherlands
United States

President Roosevelt ordered that military intelligence about the Japanese attack force be withheld from the Pearl Harbor military staff. Thus, making the attack look like a "surprise".

The USA declared war on Japan, Germany, and Italy. The Axis countries.

There could be some basis to this accusation. Certainly the matter could have been handled very very differently. But Mary's statement about God is in final control is correct. I have attended history classes that spent much time considering this (maybe) conspiracy. The most popular view is if this was done it was done to jar the American people into reality. Hitler was well on his way to buring all of Europe.

the war machine burps the national anthem...I'd believe it, presidents can be fools too, look at G.W.

I think mandatory screening for brain damage and drug abuse may have to be a requirement for this office henceforth. No wait- add one more (LOL) demon possession, we need a random screening for that too.

Common people have to be urine tested just to glean min wage and work at waldo mart these days, why should the most important job in the country not have random testing?

Whoa! Are you sure about that? Can you tell us please where you got that information? It may just be a rumor, if it's true, it certainly was not God's fault, but the president's. I know I'm not happy with Bush but I know God's in control--not Bush--thank God! :)

Oh by the way, I knew you were talking about Roosevelt, not Bush lol! Sometimes my words don't process clear lol
