Some Christians just need to be discipled(taught). The bible clearly tells us this is a form of idolatry and we should pay attention, but we do make slips now and again. Usually when people do this their faith-level is down and they feel they are looking into the future somehow,by reading their horoscopes. They are carnal and defeated Christians. |

Oops! I caught myself sinning.
I was paging through a news magazine and saw an Astrology chart on one page. My Zodiac sign, Aries, was the first one listed. It said that the Iraq war is costing $500,000 each day. Money down the toilet. Argh !!!
May GOD forgive me forgive me for checking my daily Horoscope. I've decided to run back to HIM after my "sinning while reading" caused me to get so upset. GOD is GOD. Amen.

John, Thank for your concerned warning. But, I know Who designed those stars. I know Who placed them up in the Second Heaven (Outer Space). I know the ONE Who gave them each a name. He is a Wonderful Artist. No one will not convince me that even the stars give Him Glory. The Devil uses those Constellations for Witchcraft (Astrology). GOD uses them to tell His Story of Redemption. |

I was introduced to Astrology in the 4th grade. I learned that my Zodiac Sign, or Horoscope, is: Aries. So? The daily newspaper guides were about as accurate, and inaccurate, as the weather forecasts.
After I became a Christian, I learned that all the garbage is WITCHCRAFT. Stay away from it. Even if you think it is only clean, honest fun. It is not. It is yet another trap that Satan has put out to snare people with. |

I do believe that the 12 Zodiac symbols, as in the 12 Constellations of the Zodiac, tell the Story of Jesus Christ (YAHUSHUA) as Saviour and Lord. Beginning with VIRGO: the Virgin, which depicts His First Advent via the Virgin Birth. Then, the last, LEO: the Lion, as YAHUSHUA's Second Advent as the King of kings and Lord of lords, and the Lion of the Tribe of Yahudah. Astrology is wrong, but ASTRONOMY is of GOD. I have no idea at all. It puzzles me when someone who claims to be a Christian dabbles in this demonic activity. Actually, they're a form of divination, not idolatry. Some do it just for fun, some because they actually believe in them.
But I find it absurd to even think that any one newspaper horoscope would apply to 500,000 people (12 horoscopes divided by 6 billion people) on any given day.
(Of course, in the 1970s, 'What's your sign?' was a courting thing, much like manipulating Tarot cards to hint you liked someone was in the 1870s.) |

Do I understand correctly that this Zodiac sign thing is the same as checking your horoscope to see what you should and should not do, each day? Humans have a "herd instinct" > others do it, so they do it . . . the fad tendency, like how ones will swing together about who is popular in music and movies, etc. Ones *say* they are Christians and go with Zodiac-horoscope stuff.
