If you want four years of the same mess then vote McCain. As a christian how can you support Obama, who suddenly renounces his life-long pastor who preaches hate and propagates false doctrines through the United church of Christ? Obama should have renounced Wright 20 years ago. But now he makes his renunciation when his nomination is at stake! The Clinton's aren't angels, but during Bill's admin. the U.S.was out of debt, had low unemployment, and was in much better shape than it is today. |

BAGHDAD - The leader of al-Qaida in Iraq, Abu Ayyub al-Masri, was arrested in the northern city of Mosul, the Iraqi Defense Ministry spokesman said Thursday. Mohammed al-Askari said the arrest of al-Masri, also known as Abu Hamza al-Muhajir, was confirmed to him by the Iraqi commander of the province. There was no immediate confirmation or comment from U.S. forces |

What actually are the differences in their policy positions? |

No matter which one gets the Nom. THEY will say it was stolen from them by the other person. Watch and see if that don't happen! Its a Shame a person has to be a Millionaire & buy their way into becoming the President. Its funny how we'll vote someone into office because there good speakers & charizmatic, INSTEAD of what they stand for! |

Dudely,
So I take it that since "God's Will will be accomplished" it doesn't matter who I vote for, or if I vote at all.
Or that I get up in the morning and do anything.
Nor should I be concerned with those in Myanmar, or the still homeless from Katrina.
It is comforting to think that the Holocaust, Hiroshima, witch burnings, etc., were God's will.
No longer will I concern myself that tax dollars go to the Pentagon and not education.
What me worry? |

She never should have 'dropped in'! Who is she to answer the phone at 3AM when she couldn't remember if she was under 'sniper fire?' Might she push the wrong button? Why haven't the 'mysterious' deaths of several at the Rose law firm been brought up? Further, in her remarks about Obama & Rev.Wright, she neglected to mention that her own former pastor is serving time for sexual abuse on a child! God deliver us from Clintons! |

Leon, the size of Hillary's 'fighting spirit' is only eclipsed by her caboose! This is the 2nd time she's had to 'loan' herself money. She has HUGE debts. While stumping in Las Vegas she spent $4500 nightly staying at a casino/not paid -caterers/ not paid/ many of her staff have quit along the way because they can't work for free! I can't say much for her 'economic sense'. |

Patti: Please give us source data confirming Obama is a Muslim? Even "IF" Mr. Obama were a Muslim, as you claim, doesn't the U.S. Constitution (Bill of Rights, First Amendment) protect Freedom of Religion rights of all U.S. citizens regardless of ones religious persuasion? ---Duane_Dudley_Martin on 5/7/08 |
Hillary should remain in the race. She doesn't need alot of money for advertising, she can run on fumes. Her past experience speaks for itself, being in high risk times, she's wise enough to place wise people all around her. She's not a lone ranger, one man band. |

---lisa on 5/7/08 |
Hillary should stay in.
When you have to start distancing yourself from all of your close "friends" to stay in the race, something is wrong, very wrong. If you can't discern character of your best friends, how can you discern the times, truth from lies and really know where your counsel is coming from. I haven't seen or heard anything that gives me confidence in the leadership skills of Hillary's opposition. I don't need to rely on google. |

Oil was about $36 a gallon when we invaded Iraq. Experts say that it isn't unfeasible that oil will hit a $200 mark soon. Still, oil corporations enjoy record profits under Republican sponsored tax cuts. McCain said that he hopes that we will not have to send our troupes into the area AGAIN for oil. And you are blaming the Democrats? I dont know how old you are but in the 70s we had a fuel crisis and we didnt learn our lesson. OPEC knows that we will do anything for oil. The high price is our fault. |

frances008, everyone complains about the leaders. The problem is God gives us leaders after our hearts. As long as our hearts are evil so will be our leaders. It is the general public that keeps prayer out of schools. Now Military Chaplains are being told they cannot speak of Jesus. I was told to not pray in Jesus name. |

God help the United States if Obama or Clinton get into office as President......Obama is a Muslim and Clinton is just like her husband,,,,they don't have the concern for the people of the U.S. They have their own agenda and I think people better do a little more research and find out more about them. |

Do we have a democrat congress? The people said we needed change. Well, we got it. Gas changed from $1.44 a gal to $3.44. They want to change the lower tax rates back. Anyone really think Obama will be better? He can't tell you what his "change" is. Hillary no. Obama No no. Obama didn't pull away from his racial pastor until it cost votes. If that had been GOP member the war would still be going on. Remember the phrase, "To Hell with America" and where it came from.... |
|
---Elder on 5/6/08 |
It does not matter which gets in, the three candidates are all working for the Illuminati. We need to get on our knees and pray for change. We need people to open their eyes and stop what is happening to the sovereignity of the USA and all other countries of the world. Some eyes are open. We need to open people's eyes ourselves. |

Hillary should hang in there, and I'm a registered Pub. I think she will remain after today's votes. I don't buy the logic that Hillary would destroy the country in 6 months. History doesn't bear that out. I have my reasons, none of which I'll share. Whoever wins takes over at one of the highest risk times this country will ever see. |

DJ,
Well we've got another nine months of Bush, and it seems that we've got a good chance he can completely destroy the country before she or Obama get a chance. That mission is already just about "accomplished".
So the real question here is, who are we going to chose to rebuild, re-energize, and resurrect this country? |
|
---matthew on 5/6/08 |
I'm voting for Hillary today (NC). Obama must not become President. If he does, I believe that it would be a sign of God's wrath against this nation that is turning it's back on Him. |

Lisa, if those people blew their campaign money too soon so they had to drop out, maybe they do not have financial sense and foresight to be qualified to be President. Honesty is not enough, you have to have good administrative abililty and ability to get and act on reliable information . . . which George Bush reportedly did NOT do in judging if America should go into Iraq. You, Lisa, if you have such savvy, might be more qualified than any of the candidates (o: |

Jedi,
Are you rich, or do you just not get it? |
|
---matthew on 5/3/08 |
"Thou shalt not steal = social programs" Well ... what an idea!! To help those who have been cheated out of savings by he rich, who have lost their jobs due to incompetent usiness owners, or who are sick and cannot work. You call it stealing to help them? |
|
---alan_of_UK on 5/3/08 |
Democrats seem to always have a problem with, 1) Thou shalt not kill = abortion, 2) Thou shalt not steal = social programs, and 3) Thou shalt not covet = stirring class envy against the rich. |
|
---Jedi on 5/3/08 |
Greg, let me explain. In this country we have been trained from birth not to want anything unless its been advertised to us preferable on television. we buy a product because it is better, or has fewer defects. Politicians therefore must spend vast sums of money to either show they are better---hard, or create defects in their opponent---easy. |
|
---matthew on 5/2/08 |
Now the money supply for this comes from people, and so people essentially buy votes with their "donations". In the last election the rich gave mightily to Bush, with advertising portraying him as a moral conservative, and having a brain in his head. What they got were huge tax breaks for the wealthy and a war for the rest of us. This election people are catching on and many not so rich are giving small amounts of money. So regular people may buy this President. |
|
---matthew on 5/2/08 |

No, gold has no value either. When the people printing money and setting interest rates decide to crash the banks, what will you do? The world recession will come. The lucky ones will be those who can fish, who have livestock and corn. Once the shops have been looted, then what? |

Rhett our 'great' nation is dwindling because most honest people wouldn't want the job of running it. Could we tell if they were honest? I know who I will vote for, however I do wish there were more to choose from. Rebecca, the more money we print the less its worth. |

Howard Dean is telling one the them that they must drop out by June, why? He blew his chance for lack of better judgment, why should he tell anyone anything?
I think it's a shame that some of the Pubs dropped out way too soon. We ought to have two Dems and and two Pubs to pick from. I don't think anyone should drop out, in fact, I think another Pub should join in. We should have a voice and a choice. |
|
---lisa on 4/29/08 |
Alan is right, the ability to print money doesn't mean it has any value. Zimbabwe has made a poor Nation, ruined its economy doing that. When the USA used gold to back up all its printed money it was fine, now it doesn't and look what a mess. To have value money must have a solid foundation to insure there is the ability to cover and redeem what you print. Nothing like good old solid gold to make sure money has real value. |

Problems that the next USA President will have to deal with:
* About $55 TRILLION in Federal debt. * Not enough money for Entitlements like: Social Security and Medicare. * Iraq is an expensive, endless war. Policing the world costs money. * The voting American public is feeling the effects of Global Economics. Company executives, like Vice President Dick Cheney, are richer though.
With problems like these, I don't know who would want to be the next USA President. |
