Israeli Palestinian People

I have not seen any blogs about the Israeli's actions against the Palestinian people. Is justice a concept that should be considered in that situation?

frances008 & Duane Dudley Martin,
The Jews used the term "dog" or "dogs" towards the Romans and gentiles because they didn't believe in the God of creation. If you understand Jesus' love for all people, Jew and Gentile, you would know that his question was not meant to be demeaning. Her daughter was posessed of demons, and he questioned her in this fashion as a test of faith. Her answer healed her daughter.

PARIS - Embattled Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert declared Sunday that Israel and the Palestinians have never been closer to making peace even as a widening corruption probe brings him closer than ever to being ousted from office.

To help build confidence between the two sides, Olmert agreed in a one-on-one meeting with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to release an unspecified number of Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails, an Israeli official said.

Israel has suffered probably greater than any nation. The Bible makes it clear that she has suffered because of her own hardness and sin. Like the Gentiles, she too. must come to personal faith in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Messiah if she is to experence again the full blessing of God.

Rice: Israel, Palestinians need to show progress

WASHINGTON - The Bush administration has told Israeli and Palestinian leaders they will need to show progress in their secret talks soon, or risk a potentially fatal erosion in public support for a process now in its sixth month without any obvious successes.

BEIRUT, Lebanon - Shiite Hezbollah gunmen seized nearly all of the Lebanese capital's Muslim sector from Sunni foes loyal to the U.S.-backed government on Friday in the country's worst sectarian clashes since the 15-year civil war.

JERUSALEM - Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, responding to fresh accusations that he illegally accepted hundreds of thousands of dollars from a U.S. citizen, on Thursday said he will step down if he is indicted.

BEIRUT, Lebanon - Running gunbattles raged in parts of Beirut on Thursday after the leader of Hezbollah accused Lebanon's Western-backed government of declaring war on his Shiite militant group. At least four people were killed and eight wounded in the capital.

DDM, did Jesus really say to a woman, 'You dog!' ? Or did he say something slightly different? Please do not twist peoples' words. It is very wrong.
---frances008 on 5/3/08

Nancy_Jesus called the one woman "A Dog",
and it was ONLY because of her FAITH,
That he even did anything for her.
Same W/the centurion,Because of his Faith IN HIM, He helped him, So if someone Don't want to listen to the Good News & except it,
Jesus says to have Nothing to do W/that person, NOT to even bid them Godspeed, Lest you become a partaker of their Sins!
---Duane_Dudley_Martin on 5/3/08

ALL people should be treated with kindness and decency, no matter their religion or their politics.

Christ himself showed that when He cured the Roman centurian's daughter. And the centurian's religion was much more different from Judaism than Islam is. And Rome was more powerful than Palestine, comparatively speaking.

So, yes, we should encourage BOTH nations to treat each other with decency.

And we ought to try getting the U.S. government to do a little of the same.

Thousands of years ago when Abraham went into Hagar's tent only Almighty God could see the results. All this must play out in the march of time. Someone said there has never been a Palestinian nation. That is correct. And there used to be a place called Transjordan, which were to take the Palestinian people. But of course the Arabs hate one another, as well as the Jews. If interested read the Koran.

Judgement belongs to God and justice is in our hearts.

Has anyone but me noticed that Israel is full of people who, if they lived anywhere else, would be called "lost"?

Why does living in that particular part of the world give them special spiritual standing?

Also, remember that MANY Palestinians are Christians, with churches going back to the times of the Apostles.

Saying anything bad about Israel or the Jews my not be a safe thing to do today. But I would keep my eyes on them!

"For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God,
and if it begins with

us first,

what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?"
(1 Peter 4:17)

Through this, I see that the ones who are *right* get judged *first* . . .NOT the ones who are the most wrong. So, if Israel is right, they need to be judged first and do God's will. Then deal with any enemies.

Duane Dudley Martin:

You spelled out the "truth" better than I did. Nations that come against Israel will suffer. GOD's desire is that ALL nations, including Israel, would return to HIM. However, GOD gives ALL nations, and ALL people, the freedom to choose what they will. Before GOD the Father there is only ONE choice: HIM.

The consequences, good and bad, of those choices, good or bad, will be clearly evident in the end.
---Augie on 4/30/08

Every Nation, IS about to find out!
God says, The surrounding Nations that come against Israel to take her as a Prize, Will be Devoured!
Egypt, Syria, Ethyopia, Tyre & Sidon, Iraq, Iran, Russia, China,a FEW more Will taste the Wrath!
If the U.S. INSISTS, Israel GIVE up land for Peace, We WILL also Suffer Wrath.
This IS a Promise, BY God!
God also says, Israel IS going to Suffer for Playing the Whore & Seeking Help of other nations, Instead of HIM!
1/3 of them will Remain.
---Duane_Dudley_Martin on 4/30/08

Yes, Israel does need to submit to GOD. Or, maybe the correct way of saying that would be to "return to him". GOD is patiently waiting for Israel to do that.

The current struggles between the Israeli people, and the Palestinian people, are a spiritual reflection of things. The solution will be for everyone to submit to GOD. Time will tell just when that will happen.

I just pray that the Holy Spirit will convict and convert anyone who is unjust, and they will live without fear with the love of Jesus in their hearts.
---SusieQ on 4/30/08

Palestinian, is a missnomer in itself. There was never a Palestinian people. Only Israeli's. Having been to Israel many times, all you have to do is read history books to discover what the truth is.

I believe that most people of the world are not really interested in the notion or the practice of justice. If we were, we would be bound to resolved the problems of so many millions of people. Significantly, we would have to re-define Justice to mean that 'whatever is wished for oneself and one's loved ones is Just. And any breach of that standard is unjust.'

No, revenge!
Someone suggested that the Palestinians should submit to Israel and to God. Perhaps, it would be more appropriate for Israel to submit to God, the Creator of the universe. Perhaps, then we would see a greater recognition of justice.Janze4639.

It is not about Jews and Palestinians, it is about plans for a New World Order. The Pope has to be enthroned on the Temple in Jerusalem. Then the Antichrist is revealed. The abomination in the place it ought not to be. It is all foretold in Scripture. Nothing to do with 'Jewish claims'. Many settlers only became Jewish with the offer of land in Israel, and came from South America etc etc. Do you think the ancient Jews in Israel welcomed those trouble stirrers???
---frances008 on 4/29/08

I watch these events unfold with heavy heart.
However, God always takes it to his level and from what I see this conflict had to occur with it's trail of painful details inside his plan for Israel and the world's ultimate redemption.

I promise you God's not on the throne going "gee I missed that one...maybe next time."

I don't just sympathize with Israel, those folks on the other side of this are deceived by a false prophet to believe that they have claim to the land- a mess!
---pharisee on 4/29/08

GOD gave Abraham the land between the Nile and Euphrates rivers. Genesis 15:18. Moses told the Jews that the land under their feet was "theirs". Deuteronomy 11:24.

The Palestinian people are in a "spiritual rebellion" against Israel, and GOD too. All their fighting, killing, etc. hasn't accomplished anything, but put them deeper in trouble with GOD.

The Palestinian people need to submit to Israel and GOD. Until they do so, problems will only continue.

Are you speaking of revenge? Is anything ever solved by revenge? I really do not know if there is any justice when it comes to the Middle East. What do you think? I would be interested in your opinion. Blessings, Jody:)
