Yes kumquat I did know that. It is much like a human heart. Baby Fae lived for 20 days before her body rejected it. She was born with a heart defect and would have died within days after her birth. They have studied this from this experience and learned much. It was a 'shot in the dark', not one that I really approve of, but her parents did. |

But thinking further, is there anything wrong with this?
Is is worse than, say, using animal gut for stitches, or things made from vegetation to repair our bodies?
The human heart is just a muscle ... it is not our spiritual "heart"

I'm not SDA, but I have been in SDA hospitals. Given a choice, I would choose an Adventist hospital over any other hospital. They are truly dedicated to heath care, and are the best equipped facilities I know of.
My husband went to Loma Linda Hosp.(SDA) in CA for treatment for Prostate Cancer. They have options more than whipping out knives and sawing on you! He had "Proton Treatment", totally non invasive and only available at a few hosps. in the US. He now has NO Cancer,or side effects. |

Last year at this time I was taking 85 units of Lantus, 2000 mg of glucophage, and 4 mg of Avandia daily.
For the last several months my meds have been slowly reduced to just the Avandia.
Today I heard my A1C is 4.7, and my Avandia was reduced to 2 mg.
I've never set foot in an Adventist hospital, either. |

Yeah I know of many people who have tried a Biblical vegan diet and were completely cured of diabetes. They needed to take less and less medication until they didn't need any at all. These were from Adventist medical institutions...you'd have to google it. God gave us health laws because He created our bodies and knows what is best for them, if we follow His laws He will heal us. |

God can do anything, we don't know why some are not healed. My sister is 61 and has had Diabetes all her life. She has had hips, knees and other things replaced because her bones have just 'melted' away. However she is strong in the Lord and an example to all who meet her.

The answer is YES!!!! It happened to me!!! 10 years a diabetic, and finally on 25 units of insulin per day. While in the nursing home after a severe heart attack and blood clots, which cost me my feet(I still have my heels). My wife informs me uo stop taking insulin( while praying Lord told her I was healed), big fight with doctors, but I stopped, have not taken any insulin since that day three years ago and blood sugar remains normal!!!! |

Because sickness and disease is not from God
and because healing is part of salvation-He died for our healing too.,God has power over everything the enemy throws our way. He gives life. it's up to us to stand in the authority we have in Jesus and not accept satan's lies or the things he trys to put a upon us. so, yes Jesus heals any disease. |

YES, God can heal Anything. "He is the creator" Why some things are healed and others aren't, we don't know. Maybe we are blocking the healing by having the slightest doubt in the back of our minds. |

Self-control is very important. We need the miracle of the Holy Spirit's self-control so we can eat the right foods. If the diabetic gets "healed" but still can not control oneself's eating, how can she or he maintain the right weight and health? In God's love we have the power almighty to do this easily, but while loving ALL people . . . NOT just seeking pleasures such as with food. |
