I've been posting since this site was called a "Christian Forum", and then changed to a "Christian Blog", a few years now. My belief remains steadfast, praise God: "Note, God my Yeshuah, I will trust and not fear: for YH YHWH, my strength and song, he also is become my salvation." Isaiah 12:2. |

I'm not sure how long I've been here probably over four years. I love all the questions and different views because it keeps me digging in the Bible and doing research to see exactly what the Bible says. No it hasn't changed even one of my beliefs, instead it has strengthened them. Ha ha but it has kept me checking the dictionary to see if I'm spelling words right and so my spelling is better now. |

I am sure that I have gained a greater understanding of certain things but I cannot pinpoint anything off the top of my head:). Blogging is like being in "BIBLE STUDY" every day. I am not sure just what world influences affect my outlook, but I am sure that this site has awakened me in some areas:). I am blessed by reading these blogs and foraging through the Bible to create entries. |

So that's where MikeM and Jack went. |

No, but I do gather info for my own blog. Thanks a million. |
|
---Miriam_Franklin on 6/6/08 |
Changed. No, but this site has helped me think through what I believe, some times I run into a question and I come to this blog to see how some of you have handled the same question "Iron sharpens iron" Proverbs says. It also amazes me how sometimes people put opinion over clear teachings of Scripture. and others just choose not to listen to Biblical truth, I have also seen some people really ministered to. |

I've been here for I think 5-6? years. My core beliefs have not changed, however I have come to understand better the beliefs of some others, true and false. I pray and think that I have matured some through the years. Many blogs have had me check scripture, I suppose since being 'here' I do stay in the Word more. Also I have made some great Christian friends. God bless you all. |
|

Core beliefs, No.
Time is marching on, true Christianity is true. False Christianity is emerging by the minute, false emergent moves of God and those that defend them, roaring literally as lions. |
|
---Marcia on 6/4/08 |
There are some argumentative, defensive people that will fight against anything that goes against their new emergent move. I've been a witness to that. I've had my answers ridiculed and mocked.
But there's something very strange, I have also found my answers being copied, word for word on other blogs. In this case, imitation is not the highest form of flattery. |
|
---Marcia on 6/4/08 |
no not really.religious ritual,or tradition,or even debatable doctrine, have nothing at all to do with TRUTH.sorta like the discussion between jesus and the sadjacees.the truth is in jesus, and we still wrestle with our flesh. |

#2 In a Non-Theological way, my attitude have changed. I have learn to be patience and to accept (and respect) what other believe. I know Christianet is predominantly Protestant (or whatever) and that doesn't bother me. I learn how to share the Apostolic Faith of the Eastern Orthodox Church with love and humanity. I learn that even in our discussions, either side will not change there view. That is fine, of course.
Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, Have Mercy on me, a sinner. In IC.XC, Ramon |

I've learned plenty from being a part of these blogs.
Reading them has helped me mature by remaining quiet in spite of wanting to shout. Realizing that most of us already love God with all our hearts us the easy part. Loving our neighbor as we love ourselves is much harder, but it is what God expects. |
|
---deb on 6/3/08 |
My beliefs have changed but not because of CN. Reading through these blogs made me realize how corrupt Protestantism is. I attend a Eastern Orthodox Church, the Church that Have Apostolic Succession and processes the Apostolic Truth unchanged for the past 2,000 yrs. The Seven Ecumenical Councils are the pillars of the Orthodox Church. Orthodoxy is the Church of the Holy and Victorious Martyrs, the Church of the Holy and God-bearing Fathers, the Church which possesses Christianity in its original form.... |
|
---Ramon on 6/3/08 |
Of course, my beliefs have changed over the years, though ChristiaNet had nothing to do with it.
Hasn't everyone's?
They are not the same in all things as they were 20, 10, or 5 years ago. I hope I have learned SOMETHING in all this time. Haven't you? |
|
---kumquat on 6/3/08 |
Ihave been on Christianet for years now, and my beliefs remain solid. |
|
---Trish9863 on 6/3/08 |
My beliefs are stronger in keeping with Matt.16:17-19 than ever before.I'm convinced that the RCC is Jesus True and 'Only' church for mankind. |
|
---Emcee on 6/3/08 |
I've been posting here for 2-3 years, and the only change I've experienced is the decision to be more selective about what blogs I try to answer. Some of the stuff on here is just stirring up division and strife. I don't need to be a part of that. God bless. |
|
---tommy3007 on 6/3/08 |
A favorite trick on other venues and one that someone uses here is to fight with yourself for kicks. When that's done, I leave the discussion. I'd rather read a Yes or No from the Moderator, than 75 replies from the same person. |
|
---Ulrika on 6/3/08 |
What I have for theories and beliefs hasn't changed, I'd say, but >
I see better, now, that I need to be more prayerful about what I write, and as personal as possible and right in what I write to each person. How *well* I see this is an issue.
And ones here have helped me realize better how I must not just judge how people may be wrong, but have compassion for them and pray for them. I'm sure I need to do this better, too. |
|
---Bill_bila5659 on 6/3/08 |
For awhile now. No my belief in the bible has not changed ,just expanded to accurate knowledge of truth as said in 1 tim 2:4. I have however switched denominations to where the ibble is better taught & understood. |
|
---candice on 6/3/08 |
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.
I have received the Holy Spirit of truth, and God is the God that changeth not.
If we received His truth at the moment we were changed from darkness into His light, why should we change with every wind of doctrine, being tossed about to and fro, changing from this to that. Doubleminded men are unstable in all of their ways. |
|
---Ulrika on 6/3/08 |
I know that some have taken upon themselves a very ambitious mission to change the hearts of everyone to their way of thinking, but it's not going to happen for me. The more highly competitive the fight to be right, the less I believe in the ambitious mission of works. I believe in Jesus Christ. The bible says, Let God be God and every man a liar. |
|
---Ulrika on 6/3/08 |
If anything has changed, it would be that I am even stronger in my convictions for the Gospel of Jesus Christ, laying aside every weight, every detour, every false notion, every advertisement for someone's church, their pastor, their prophecies, their anything. Letting nothing get in my way of seeing clearly with my own eyes - truth from lies. |
|
---Ulrika on 6/3/08 |
We are to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. I've seen the personal agendas since the day I became involved here. Those have never changed. I see that agenda everywhere I look, it's bizarre. Blogging here has made falsehoods pop into plain sight through my truth viewfinder. |
|
---Ulrika on 6/3/08 |
In support of ChristiaNet, it allows a broadbrush of views. There are other venues out there, but the views are not moderated as fairly as on CN. Owner Bloggers moderate other venues with their own views based on faulty theology, whatever comes to their mind. Some are filtered through minds that are off their rocker. CN is a safe site. There is safety in a multitude of teachers. I really don't care for the one-man band venues. |
|
---Ulrika on 6/3/08 |
I've always had a respect for the straight line that the Moderators take. At times they allow alot of rope until someone is about to trip, then they pull the reins back. I'm speaking of the recent revival blogs, taking the road less traveled, but the higher road. I respect the Moderators biblical edge when it comes to falling for every wind of doctrine. |
|
---Ulrika on 6/3/08 |
You can read every opinion on other venues and end up ready for the loony bin. Some are writing from the bin, and they're doing more harm than good. Sticking with CN, you won't find yourself being driven off of a cliff. More is not better, it's just more. 85 words are enough. If the Mod wants to delete one of our replies, so be it. |
|
---Ulrika on 6/3/08 |
I have been a member here for 6 years. And my beliefs have never changed.I love the Lord, and try to serve Him the best that i can.God is so good. |
|
---angea on 6/3/08 |
The most significant things I've learned have come through the Mod's articles, quizes, short but informative opinions.
I have learned the "tricks of the blogging trade" from bloggers, but not anything that you want to take with you when you go. |
|
---Ulrika on 6/3/08 |
Trix are for kids, but adults like tricks, too. It is those tricks that leave me devoid of trust in any of their answers and why none of them have affected me. It is the honesty of the Moderator that does affect me. It all comes down to trust and why I trust the Mod's opinions over all of the tricks that I have learned here. |

I've been on this blog almost a year now and no, my beliefs have not changed at all, however, because of these blogs, I have dug into my Bible even more to investigate why I believe what I believe and have come out even firmer in my beliefs, based on what the Word of God says. |
|
---Holly4jc on 6/3/08 |
Four years and No, my beliefs in Jesus, Father God and His Holy Spirit have not changed. But I have learned many things from reading certain people's responses. Like: Where is the sinners prayer in the bible? And What God meant when He said, Let Us make man in our image. I've also laughed at Pharisee's "Eve was Framed" joke. It's been a very helpful site and I love the folks here. |
|
---donna8365 on 6/3/08 |
Less than a week on this site, and no my beliefs have not changed, and will not change regardless of any posting longevity. |
|
---Nadine on 6/3/08 |
Call me names but call me for dinner.
Have I been influenced by emergent beliefs? Nope. Would I join an emergent church? Nope. |
|
---lisa on 6/3/08 |
Several years, my basic beliefs remain the same. However, I have gained much respect for others and their beliefs. But I'm deeply sorry for those who are so indoctrinated with totally Unscriptural beliefs. |
|
---Mima on 6/3/08 |
Ha, ha, it's been a couple of years now. My beliefs what's that? I know some things. I know some things that unbelievers will never know. I know what's important. And here is is>> There is a living God, There is a hell, there is a heaven and there is a devil. Do I believe? I KNOW! |

---catherine on 6/3/08 |
Long time. No, my beliefs have not changed. |
