Amen brothers! You already know, if you're not under attack from the enemy, then you're running the wrong way in the race, because Satan is waiting for you at the finish line to trip you up, not at the beginning. When you start to get in line with the Word, then you should expect to get hit with those firely darts. Satan's forces are limited, unlike God's, so why would the Devil use up his resources on someone who's not even in the fight? When you come under fire from the enemy, then you should rejoice and get pumped up, because that means the Devil is afraid of the son of God that you're becoming! Let all of the forces of darkness tremble in the presence of the holy army of the Most High God! AMEN! PRAISE JESUS!

Danelle, your husbands demons only have as much authority over you as you give them. You shouldn't be asking fellow believers to pray for you, but rather for the salvation of your husband. You have the authority of the Living God inside of you, Danelle! Use what Jesus has given you! Your husband shall believe! You are a daughter of the Most High God! You have been grafted in and attached to the house of Jacob by the blood of the King! Plead the blood over the door posts of your house! Cast the demons out with the authority that is already in you! Demons don't have the authority to torment you! You have the authority to torment them! Take up the Sword and fight! God is your strength! AMEN! Praise Him for the salvation of your husband!

Yes, In fact the more you are armed with gods word, the more fierce the battle beomes. It is a given. I would estimate that all soldiers of christ know this battle well.

I do now that our every day is a costant fight. This is defantly a spiritual fight that lead's into the phisical realm. Stand therefore with the amor of God put on every day.

I believe that Christians engage in spiritual warfare because there is a fight for each of our souls. satan knows he is running out of time and wants to take as many souls with him that he can.
in a sense it's to be more like Jesus but i believe we are suppose to learn by Jesus example and practice james 4:7, resist the devil and he must flee. we know that If God is for us no one can be against us. God has already defeated the Devil through his son Jesus Christ.

No- way. I am very sorry, but I do not think on those terms. It usually takes me to my knees, is what it does. I do become very tired of the devil. But you know God's strength, power, stability, ect. You do know about these things don't you? You do know?

Satan has come to steal, kill and destroy. He desires everything that belongs to God. He constantly attempts to keep souls away from God and his demons help him. We war against him to stay in touch with God so that we can serve, honor and praise Him. I do not think Christian people think about fighting satan to be like Jesus even though we would like to be like Him. Jesus is the role model on how to fight satan.

It's not about being like Jesus. It's about waking up to the truth of life and that being the spirit is always warring against the flesh & the flesh against the spirit. This is whether someone in Christian or not.

2Chr.10:3-4 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.

Yes, in an effort to 'become' more like Jesus, and the war is internal, ones enemies are contain within ones own mind, the spirit of antichrist. That which is influenced of that spirit constitutes the battlefield. The perimeters of the stronghold that bind them to man are pride, high-mindedness and arrogance. The soldiers that guard them are the lusts and passions of the unrenewed mind still focused on the externals. Therfore the weapons of our warfare are not carnal.

If one is looking to discern ones enemies and looking for a war, one needs only to look within. Behold our enemies - the spirit fear, doubt, wavering, confusion, criticism, anger, discrimination, hatred, deception, accusation, and these are just to name a few, yet all are liken into them. We war against "the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life." The enemies within are rarely considered, simply because it easier for man to focus externally.

"'The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.'" (Exodus 14:14) > one way that works for me is if I get in rage and paranoid self-righteous criticizing and suspicion, I can be quiet while God *flushes* that nasty nonsense of Satan to the flaming sewer which burns with fire and brimstone. BUT fighting off Satan does not make me like Jesus. God's love
*curing* our character makes us "as He is...in this world." (in 1 John 4:17)

"You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only." (James 2:24) While we do works in God's love, this love is effecting us to become more like Jesus. So, works of spiritual warfare in God's almighty love can exercise us to become stronger in love. And other works of love exercise and strengthen us . . . like how doing good things in fresh air is good for our health. Mutual confession and prayer (James 5:16) can heal us in God's love.

The 'spiritual warfare' experiences I've been given have shown me the depth of my love for God. Before the 'war', my conscious self was ignorant. Now, I have a much greater understanding of how much I owe God, and what God has done for all of us. I learned I was willing to die for the love of God. If I hadn't experienced it for myself, I wouldn't have believed it.

Yes.

"For the weapons of our warfare are not those of the world. Instead, they have the power of God to demolish fortresses. We tear down arguments..."
2 Cor 10:4 ISV

No, that is not the reason Christians engage in spiritual warfare. Jesus said, The gates of hell shall not prevail against the church, but when you feel the enemy attacking, we do Spiritual Warfare-there are many ways of doing SW.
