Revelation states 24 chairs and Elders in an Authority position. But, as now we know that God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are in charge.
But, no Democracy. He doesn't run His Church likes a Democracy. So why would He decide to run His Kingdom as such.
Dictator is a harsh word. Dictator does not give freedom to his subjects.

Catherine: Under no circumstance should God be thought of as a dictator. Dictators are selfish oppressors, bullies (caesars, pharoahs, fuhrers, false prophets, etc.) who suppress the free will of the people they dominate.
God is self-sacrificing, the ultimate blessor (sovereign, ruler, king of kings, lord of lords, majesty, royal personage, etc.) who always has our best interest at heart & allows us freedom of choice.
Dictators aggressively herd/drive their people, like cattle, to market. God leads his sheep (children) to heavenly green pastures.

Shirley, we're talking about the Millennial Kingdom Reign...1000 years only before Heaven. This is Christ's Earthly Reign.
And you are correct...no one in heaven is going to be ruled with an Iron Rod...why would we? The final overthrow of Satan in the lake of fire, at the end of the 1000 years,all tears wiped away... and a New Heaven and Earth after that where NO EVIL can enter in.
Eye has not seen or heard the things God has prepared for those who Love Him, but the Holy Spirit in us gives us those moments and little glimpses..not visually or anything, but just those moments when you are so close and Intimate with the Lord, all you can wonder is....WOW, !! |

Well if you want to put it that way Christ will be our supreme ruler,king,dictator if it's proper to call Him that.There will be no voting in heaven.Of course in heaven we will be changed to be like Christ and should never want to control things.Of course Satan tried to take over heaven and was cast down to Earth for that sin. |

Democracy means that those who are dumbed down by the government get to vote for what the government intended in the first place. It means that the mob rules and the minorities have no protection. A republic means the rule of law which protects minorities. I used to be democrat, after I was a socialist, but I am going further and further to the right. We have gone so far left I am really just trying to find a central position that protects everyone. Liberals are out to destroy Christianity, please don't support them thinking you are helping minorities, that is a deception. |

Christ will NOT make things a democracy or a dictatorship. Democracy means choice, and Dictatorship means by ruthless (violent) force. Christ will rule in Theocracy, meaning the Christ calls the shots, and man does not question, however, Christ will not be ruthless about it. Christ is just, not ruthless. |

I used to tell the kids in my house that 'this is a dictatorship, not a democracy'. Parents have to be in control!
However, our Father would not require, nor need to make that statement.
God is LOVE, as HIS children we would take joy in pleasing HIM, as we should be doing NOW!
