Supernatural Christian Life
I am going to an awesome conference this weekend in Lancaster, PA. Do you think living in the supernatural realm every day of your life is possible? And if yes, how? since "the whole world lies in the power of the evil one." So how is it possible to live in His Glory on this wicked earth?

It is not easy, however, God's people are equipped to handle anything that Satan is allowed to through at us. I have often maintained that if God sent a real disaster upon this world, believe you me, all unbelievers would run, run, run. Not so with God's people, noway. We stand strong and steady.

Sermon of the Mount states. Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness: they shall be filled.
Drink 64oz.of distilled water from glass and eat superfoods as you are led with a healthy diet. The body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.
Eat the Word of God and drink full salvation.

By choice, you choose each day to commit your life and way 100% to Jesus. Each soul chooses whom they will live for, Christ or sin. If the whole world chooses to serve sin and thereby goes to hell, you do not have to follow them into the fire, instead you say No and follow Jesus Christ hand-in-hand the whole way up into paradise. Are you committed to Jesus, and do you love Jesus more than any other thing in the whole wide world, even more than yourself, and to the point that you will obey every commandment he commands, and surrender up your whole life to him willingly and because you really want to? When the Lord says, Serve me: do you do so only because he commanded you, or do you do so because you want to, and for the love you have for him?

YES, we live in a world today that is so self motivated so controled by satan as you have said.
And yet we are called to walk in the Spirit , to counter and to stand against the devil and his ways.
One of the ways that we do this is to be continually aware of what it is that we have to watch out for . but most of all we have to know what to do when we come face to face with the things of this world.
Though we walk in the flesh we still carry the weapons of spiritual warfare within us.
We must learn to use the scriptures the same way Jesus did.
We live in God's Glory eac unity and in Love we stand for Christ. Put on the full God. "EPHESIANS 6:10-

Jesus said that if we believe in Him we will be able to do supernatural things (paraphased). Jesus also said that we will be able to do ALL that He did and GREATER things. Jesus healed the sick, opened blind eyes, cast out demons, raised the dead, prophecied, and walked on water - so can we.

Whoa...how do you know it's awesome if you've not gone yet? You are interchanging spirituality with supernatural here and that's o.k. When you and 'yourself' have gotten together alone in the quiet while you pray for God to answer the prayer only to find out you got the reply in your soul where nobody else can find it you will then have felt for you 'both' the powerful truth of your question. Verify it that way. Only until you experience the spiritualness of that moment will you better understand your own question and believe more firmly in your professed faith.Skip more conferences. Pray for wisdom. It will come to you.

oh yes. There is evil everywhere but theres power in the blood of Jesus. More power in on drop then in the whole world. The Lord gave us authority over the earth and things in it. For the Lords authority is our authority. For Matthew 18:20 says "For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." and Phil.4:13 says "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." And John 14:13-14 says "And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to th Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it."
Keep your eyes and heart on Christ and keep your relationship with him through daily prayer. In Christ we can't go wrong.

Elder, again I say, your answers are my feelings concerning God and death. I am just wondering why you do not answer more blogs. I really care to listen to your words, they are godly words given with great care. Blessings brother,

Donna::Accept my sincere condolence on the death of your Dad who was very close to you.Time is a healer in all cases and there is this time, then comes realisation.Jesus was on the way to His Death YET stops and tells the women of Jerusalem "Weep not for me but For yourself and your Children"I know there seems no pertenince, but therein lies a message, surplant the word Prayer for weep.May be its not your belief, but when truth must be effective it must be told.May your Dad's soul rest in Peace with this Heartfelt Prayer."Eternal Rest Grant unto him O Lord, and let perpetual Light shine upon Him, May His soul Rest in Peace Amen."

Donna, I write for more than one person when I blog.
There are people visiting or writing on the blogs that have been grieving for 20 years, maybe since childhood, letting it rule over their hearts through adulthood. It's unhealthy and can lead to a perpetual broken heart and severe depression.
I firmly believe God's word and He says, a broken spirit dries the bones and by sorrow the spirit is broken. There are many other scriptures about grief. Some call it an actual spirit of grief that can attach itself and kill your joy, like an addiction.
Grief is a killer. It can weaken the heart by great sorrow. God's joy is the medicine needed for a broken heart.

Donna, we don't need to run and jump in the car, drive to the next conference in hope of finding the right person to lay hands or speak a word under the anointing that will make all of our trials and testings go away.
There's nothing new under the sun. Tomorrow's new move of God is yesterday's manna. Experiences are not a replacement for relationship.
God's word says a man has joy by the answer of his mouth, and a word spoken in due season, how good it is!
The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch over you and me.
Rest quietly in the heart of Him who has all understanding and wisdom.

Elder, I hear you loud and clear, but I honestly don't think grieving for four months over the sudden death of my father is unhealthy. We all need to grieve for a period of time. Don't you think Jesus grieved at the unbelief when He walked upon this earth and He was on earth for 33 years. "Oh Jerusalem, Jerusalem, how I long to gather you as a mother hen gathers her chicks, but you were not willing." The shortest verse in the bible is: "Jesus wept."
I think this scripture in hebrews sums it all up:
Hebrews 2:10 - For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

14 For the body is not one member, but many. 15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body, is it therefore not of the body? 16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body, is it therefore not of the body? 17 If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling? 18 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him. 19 And if they were all one member, where were the body? 20 But now are they many members, yet but one body. 21 And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.

Yes, I do believe you can live in the supernatural every day of your life. That can be done by givng God everything you have in the natural. Whether it is your job, your body, your family, or your finances, when you give it to God, He takes what is natural and makes it supernatural. And what He makes supernatural is bound to prosper. The secret is givng it and not taking it back. To believe that God can take good care of what you give Him and will perform His Word in your life. Faith, exercise your faith and expect Him to perform His Word.

Living in the past to avoid the risk of being ambushed by the present.
Donna, there is unhealthy grief. When we stay in grief, living in the past, we avoid living in the present.
Unhealthy grief is not waxing nostalgic, it can be a symptom of depression. Like other disorders, OCD, Tourettes, others, more religion or religious experiences can be a coping mechanism. There are many people that use religion as an escape. They consider it a healthy escape because it's acceptable, but it is still an escape.
Fear and anxiety can cause someone to use religion, the study of religion as an escape. Jesus Christ can save the mind as well as our spirit. Jesus can do that without traveling to the next conference.

Elder, it is ironic how someone can come up with the word "experience" when I asked if you think living in the supernatural realm every day is possible. Notice I mentioned "live in His Glory" - how in the world did you come up with that being an "experience" versus a way of living?
I was asking because this woman, said she believes it's possible to live in God's supernatural realm everyday of your life.
I struggle with painful things happening in my life alot. Many brokenhearts and sorrow due to my father's death, so I was wondering what this woman would do if she experienced death of her spouse or someone very close to her. I'm just trying to understand what she's talking about.
---donna8365 on 6/26/08|
Elder, that was very well said. I loved your answer. Too many are looking for experiences and joy for themselves to feel good. The death of someone always brings us to a better understanding that through death, God rejoices when He receives someone in Heaven, and rejoices when we get on our knees before Him to ask for His help, instead of us more dependent on ourselves and our own desires.

The Bible says that the Holy Spirit will be poured out on ALL flesh (people), and they will dream dreams, envision visions, and prophecy. Paul was filled with such power that even when he walked by, his shadow healed people, cast out demons in people, and raised the dead. We need to have that kind of supernatural power to where even our shadow effects people.

Shawn.M.T: You sound like Job's friends.
---Steveng on 6/24/08|
You asked about Job.
God allowed the devil to touch all Job's worldly procession because Job had not been walking in forgiveness, in certain aspects of his life, and God wanted to increase His blessings upon Job.
We will always be chased or chastised in the areas of our life that we are falling short of the glory of God, so the Lord can strengthen & increase us once we get back on the straight & narrow. 1John 5:18.. but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
By falling off or not getting back on the straight & narrow we are giving evil power over us. But by the grace of God we can always claim it back.

Don't waste your time...
going to a place where you are just another face in the crowd. If you are truly serious to stay a Christians, get yourself a handful of other serious Christians and start a home "church." Having a small group of intimate friends meeting daily, if that were possible, would strengthen your walk with God than going to a weekly "chruch" service. Do a little research on the benefits of having your own group.

how is it possible to live in His Glory on this wicked earth?
Take the focus off of you as much as you can remember to. The focus for all things has to come in his influence through Jesus Christ which is "not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit sayeth the Lord."
It seems alot of people read the Bible to find "their way" but the scripture has it God's way with Jesus Christ, don't forget how he waited and pleaded and suffered the Death of his soul's greatest desire in the Garden of Olives.
The path of Christ is meekness in all things, who have you died for today? Solom reflection alone isn't enough, don't forget to find the Lord counting your hairs as the minutes tick away and abide in his joy.

It depends on what you mean by Supernatural.
The Christian life itself is supernatural.
Too many of us want a feel good experience and don't care what God wants. I didn't like my sickness, my wife's sickness. I didn't like my sister's death or the fact that now her husband is dying from cancer and has only months to live. I don't care for the fact that we were robbed and lost everything.
But I'll tell you what... I wouldn't sacrifice what we have seen God do just to feel good.
Why does bad things happen to God's people?
It is to bring Glory to His Name. Super natural living, as some call it, is in the midst of the mess. If God is for us who can be against us.
Stop looking for experiences and seek fellowship!!

1 John 5:18-20, "We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not, but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not. And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life."

Jesus has given us the victory. "And this is the victory that overcomes the world, [even] our faith." Embrace the faith of God. Set your course in life under the Direct Divine Inspiration of the Father, "for 'if' you walk in the Spirit you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh." We are in the world, however as believers, we are not of the world. The 'earth' is not wicked, it is this sensually based system that governs it, however even that system is irrelevant to the called out of God, for we walk by faith, not by sight.

Jesus said we are to pray that His Kingdom come and His Will be done on Earth as in Heaven. We are to bring Heaven to Earth and be naturally supernatural. Jesus said that His disciples (followers/Christians) would be able to do ALL that He did and greater things. Jesus did the following and so can we: preach the Gospel (win souls), heal the sick, open blind eyes, set the captives free, cast out demons, raise the dead, do miracles, walk on water, and prophecy. We don't do these things because of not knowing we can, or because of not knowing how to. We should be D.W.J.D. (Doing What Jesus Did).
---Leslie on 6/21/08|
yes,but let me say that i try too have an attitude that even me being alive is a miracle.i love jesus,i love God,and cant wait too get home.

Gods word tells us that if we love this life ,meaning the flesh and all its lusts, then we will loose life, aka eternal life.we must choose to crudify our flesh, and submitt to God thru jesus, and obey.then we will have a supernatural life walking in love and spirit.why? CAUSE Gods word says we will.
---tom2 on 6/21/08|
When you say "supernatural realm", if you mean living in the glory of God's blessings every moment of the day, then YES. To be aware that we are living in the glory of God's promises we must mindful of His blessings. This is accomplished by always being mindful of the two things that God is mindful of, the seed He gives us & the covenant of promises between us and Him (Psa.111:5). Never let us forget that CHRIST HAS TAKEN BACK ALL POWER & ATHUORITY ON EARTH, which He has shared with us who are saved. So the only power that anything evil has over us is the power we give it.
