I just came across something the other day on this>>>Jesus also suffered outside of the gates of Jerusalem to make the people holy through His Blood" [Hebrews 13:12]. Hope everyone has a great Sunday as unto the Lord. Or Sunday will count for nothing.

John, Let's look at this: "The Bible says that the heart of man is evil. Also, no matter how good we try to be in our own righteousness, it's worthless. Our righteousness is like filthy rags'---The Bible affirms that man is evil by choice, and before you are saved your self-righteousness is as filthy rag's, not a saved person, it is very clear when Jesus says to be righteous, even as God is righteous, and this thing about the righteousness of Christ, imputed to you, is for God to confuse the innocent with the guilty, praise, blame, and shame is personal and non-transferable.

I agree with Jody. The Bible says that the heart of man is evil. Also, no matter how good we try to be in our own righteousness, it's worthless. Our righteousness is like filthy rags. This is why we all need Jesus. He is our righteousness, and His blood covers our sin. So come to Jesus now and live under His righteousness. If your sincere, you will never be the same. You will progressively see changes in your life. Sometimes you won't even notice it right away, untill you compare the way that you used to be in the beginning of a wonderful journey with the Lord. Jesus is Lord to the glory of God the Father! God bless.

I agree with Jody.

Jody, Let's look at this: "The bible teaches that we are all born into sin because of what Adam did in the Garden."---Does the Bible teach this? Adam did not make us sinners, nor, Christ make us righteous without our own choice, we are sinners, or righteous by choice. Some teach that Jesus Christ became "sin" in actuality,"sin" only exist in the abstract. If the term sin is used in an abstract sense, why do people think that Jesus Christ could become "sin", or a mere abstraction? It is naturally impossible for a person to literally be "sin", or a mere abstraction. Jesus was a sin-offering, He did not turn into a sinner on the cross and die spiritually.

TRU DOG, The bible teaches that we are all born into sin because of what Adam did in the Garden. "Through one man sin entered the world and through one man" sins are taken away. Even Paul said that "nothing good dwells in me". Our righteousness comes from faith in Jesus Christ. On our own, we are not righteous even if we do good works. There is power in Jesus' blood because He is God (part of the trinity).

It's God's Blood. Pure, sinless. H O L Y.

Mima, Let's look at this: Therefore his blood was Holy, unique, and the only type of its type in the world."--- Jesus Christ came in the flesh, his blood is the same as ours, this is why I don't believe in a "sin-nature" passed down through the blood, because Jesus Christ would be sinful. Poof Texts:" I am...the offspring of David. Rev. 22:16"

One of my friends has the following understanding. The father of Jesus was the Holy Spirit. It is the father from whom the child receives its blood type. So the blood in Jesus body was wrong his father Almighty God. Therefore his blood was Holy, unique, and the only type of its type in the world. And for that reason the blood of Lord Jesus Christ was worthy to obtain salvation for us!!!
Please comment about my friend,s idea.

Man is justified freely by The Father's grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom He set forth as the placative means for mans deliverance from the penalty of sin through faith in his 'blood' (Atoning sacrifice). In whom we have forgiveness of sins by His grace. Almost all things were by the law purged with blood, and without shedding of blood there was no remission of sin. Therefore in accordance with His law, The Father choose the precious blood of Christ to release man from the bondage of the law of sin and death, foreordaining Him before the foundation of the world for that purpose.

Jesus' shed blood is the ONLY cleansing for/from sin because He was/is the Son of God, He became a man and lived a perfect, sinless life fulfilling all the law and then voluntarily gave His life for ours.

brother you ask some really strange ones.lets see God said without blood there can be no remission of sin,all men are born sinful, jesus was without sin because he is the son of God.jesus was the one who died and shed his blood for the remission of all sin.as john tells in heaven only he will be worthy to open the seals, and only by his blood is the world saved.

Because the Blood of Jesus is sinless, Holy and Royal blood. It is God's blood which is pure, holy, sinless, royal, etc.,

Actually it's not the Blood of Jesus that has power to wash away sins (wait before you get your feathers ruffled), it's the SHED blood of Jesus that has the power to wash away sins.

Because Jesus was God Incarnate. Because Jesus was the Lamb of God, who lived a sinless life to become the perfect sacrifice for our atonement. The blood of anyone (or anything) else is simply insufficient.
