Pure Heart In End Times

In reading David Wilkerson's book America's last call, he is saying the most important preparation we can do for the end times is to make sure our hearts are 100% right towards the Lord. How do we do that? How can you know for sure?

You definetly don't get a pure heart by tricking or cheating people out of their lives and souls through scientific measures do you?

It is easy to claim to be 100% sold out to The Lord, but what would you give up to actually BE sold out? Would you give up your favorite hobby? Would you give up your shiny new car? (neither one is necessary).

But would you give up your STATUS in the institutions of man (accomplished "scholar" approved by man) and your book/text compliance that enables you to have that "status"?

Many people have always decided to form their relationship/devotion "by the book" performing rituals/deeds and procedures of "STUDY" examinations/analysis of text, money giving, etc. with H2O trying to "FORCE" their way to the kingdom instead of enter "BY THE DOOR" (John 10:1).

Matthew 11:12
"From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and men of violence take it by force".

John 7:39
"for as yet the Spirit had not been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified".

John 10:1
"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door but climbs in by another way, that man is a thief and a robber".

John 10:9
"I am the door, if any one enters by me, he will be saved".

Do not take the kingdom by force, but enter "BY THE DOOR", not BY THE BIBLE.

Have a "more excellent" devotion (1 Corinthians 12:31) and "faith for faith" (Romans 1:17).

**How do we know for sure that our hearts are 100% right towords the Lord?***

Donna, It's a fairly simple answer, that eludes many only because it not tangible! We know the same way we know that the Word of God is the Way, the Truth and Life unto all who have receive it:

: We Do This & Know This By 'Faith'!!!

We need to sell out to Jesus 100 percent. The days of standing on the fence must stop. Jesus will spit the luke warm Christians out of His mouth. Our focus must be on seeking the serving the King.:)

Donna, Do the two commandments that Jesus spoke of - to love your God with everything you have and to love your neighbor.

How do you love God? You develop a personal relationhsip with him as you would an earthly friend. You get to know God first by reading about his relationship with his people from the bible. Then you develop that relationship by communicating with him through prayer.

How do you love God AND your neighbor? Do an online bible search for "one another," "each other," and "encourag" for living a christian life is a 24/7 lifestyle - not a once a week pep talk that denominational "churches" dish out. Meet with christians on a daily basis.

Know for sure by doing.

Donna: The way we make our hearts right with God and keep it that way is to repent everyday. There maybe something that we've done or something that we've said that might have offended someone and we didn't realize it. Before we lay our heads down before going to bed, make sure there is nothing between us and the Lord. The bible says don't let the sun go down upon your wrath. Meaning don't go to bed angry and sin in our heart.

It is not so much what we are today but what we strive ,labor and desire to become tomorrow.

You could probably ask every child of God that question and get a different answer. If you accepted Jesus as your Savior and received the Holy Spirit, you were born again. The Holy Spirit abides in you and helps you to live a Godly life and to walk in the will of the Father. Once saved, we spend our entire lives drawing closer to God. Our Father wants us to conform to the image of His Son. Grace is a heart gospel and John 3:21 says Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God. Scripture tells us we are made complete in Jesus and that He presents us holy and blameless to the Father. The Holy Spirit will help you prepare your heart!

I just want to share what I've been asking the Lord even before I read David's book.

Am I going to be invited to the marriage feast Lord? and if not, how can I be invited? I want to come Lord.

Also, I am keeping a repentent heart towards Him, asking Him, Lord do I need to repent for that? Was that wrong of me to say that to her?

I believe the Beautitudes, the Sermon on the Mount gives us some wonderful guidelines to check ourselves if we are in obedience to His word. Are you showing people Mercy? Are you pure in heart? Are you hungering and thirsting after righteousness or spending too much time watching worldly TV shows? Things like that....this isn't meant to condemn anyone, just to share ideas. Bless you!

It is true that the ultimate goal is not to "a Christian" [club member], the true goal is to be a "Godlover" (have an extreme relationship with our heavenly heritage).

Anyone can know information, have knowledge, and even understand wisdom, but God wants us to know "principles" (Hebrews 5:12, YES/NO, ON/OFF, RIGHT/WRONG, GOOD.EVIL, etc.).

When we pursue "spiritual fruits", we become PRIDEFUL about something that WE have accomplished, but God wants us to have a character/spirit of "good and right and true".

Ephesians 5:8

"walk as children of light".

We must move on to have a mature relationship with our Lord (Hebrews 6:1).

It is an act of love to care about God's LIKES and DISLIKES, WANTS and DESIRES (His wishes/WILL) instead of be obsessed with "commands"/"commandments", obligations and requirements (parents also have this desire that their children care about the desires of the parent).

Ephesians 2:15

"by abolishing in his flesh the law of commandments and ordinances".

We must also learn the GODLY PERSPECTIVE of what love really is, and love others ONLY AS MUCH as we love ourselves (yet, there is no sane and emotionally stable person on earth that has a need/desire to show love to themselves).

"God is LOVE" (1 John 4:8, 16).

"God is LIGHT" (1 John 1:5).

Well, in my case, I know I'm not how the Bible says the Holy Spirit has a for-real Christian abundantly live in joy and love for all people. So, it can be easier for me to openly offer myself to God for how You know You really want me to become . . . instead of me asssuming I myself can know, really, how You want me for the resurrection of the just. But . . . in preparation for our Groom, I'd say be relating with our Father, now, the way we will be when Jesus comes (1 Peter 3:4). And now be relating with our Groom and one another, how this relating will be then. We prepare, by packing now what we will need for the trip (o: Ephesians 5:21, 1 Peter 3:8-9.
