Trish,I know you feel glad to have a little breather from school. I agree with you in prayer that all will go well for your daughter. What a treat to get to be there when the baby is born. When my daughter had her daughter she only weighted 5 pounds and got down to 4 lbs 6 oz. I said I can't care for one that small but we made it fine. An Aunt used a doll PJ pattern to make her clothes.

School, for me, is finally done. Now, for my summer job, and then a trip in August to help my daughter when she gives birth to my grandson.
God is taking care of my daughter. I just pray she is able to get through the remaining weeks without any complications.

Happy Fathers Day to all the hardworking, loving Dads on here. May God guide you, teach you,and fill you with so much of his love your children can see a special glow about you. May you find blessings a plenty, sorrows not any. A Rainbow in your lifes skies, prosperity which never flies. May all your paths be covered by flowers, may peace pursue you though God's powers. Touch your children with your love as Father God loves you. Blessings

The end of the school year is finally here, and I am going to miss almost everyone of my students. I begin my hospital job again this weekend, after a long leave of absence, due to multiple health issues. I am really looking forward to returning to that position.
The big news is, I got a dog this week. He is a Shiba Inu, 11 month old puppy. I named him Utley.
Have a great weekend.

Norma thats so wonderful. I will be praying for God's protection over her and the baby. I have two greatgrandchildren and I know what a blessing they are. My husband has always joked if he had known how great it is to have grandchildren,he would have had them first. Then the Greats start and its all super again. As the Bible says children are a blessing from the Lord, happy is the man who has his quiver full of them. Right Trish!

Norma, what wonderful news for you and your granddaughter. My daughter was 30 when she had my granddaughter, and she is now carrying my grandson, due in August, and she will be 33 when he is born.
Darlene, my granddaughter and I had a blast in Lancaster, PA. We went to an Amish village, where she saw all sorts of farm animals. Then we went swimming. She is adorable.
Barb and Steve, Happy Birthday. I love you guys.

I praise the Lord that my oldest granddaughter is finally pregnant. She and my grandson-in-law have been trying for 5 long years. All of her cousins and sister have been having babies and each time one is born it made her feel bad she couldn't have one.
I'm praying that she will be able to carry this baby to full term. She will be 29 when it is born. This will make me have 5 great-grandchildren.

Praise the Lord my grandson is better,he got some medicine, and he is home. Thanks to those who prayed. That takes a heavy heart load off of this 'ole grandmother. NVBarbara and Steve Happy Birthday and God Bless. Trish I know you had a blessed time with your grandaughter, thats great. Hope all is well with you and that foot is getting better.

It looks like most of you 'kids' are doing better than the last time I stopped in, happy to hear it! God bless you all.
Today is my birthday and tomorrow is Steve's. So we're both another year older.
At our ages its become a solemn occasion! J/K

Please pray for my 28 year old Grandson. He has the symptoms of the flu which is going around and so bad. He also is in a town 60 miles away at a friends house and too sick to make it home. I am very concerned for him since he is very hard to get to go to a doctor and take medicine.
---Darlene_1 on 6/8/09|
Darlene: Praise the Lord indeed. I am glad the docs were able to help your son.
I will be spending the weekend traveling with my daughter and son-in-law to Lancaster, PA. The kids are heading to a wedding, and the Munchkin and I are going to have some fun together. Grandma is going to get to babysit for a little while.
I hope everyone has a blessed weekend.

Trish I know you have enjoyed your loved ones being with you for a visit, thats great. I will be praying for your daughter and the baby. My daughter,Grandson, and Daughter's Husband have made it back from Idaho and are on their way here from airport which is about an hour away. I am delighted to get them all back home after only two weeks. We are so blessed to have both children living only 15 min. away. My son needs everyones prayers again. He has another kidney stone and will be put to sleep Friday and have a machine used on him to shatter the stone into small pieces so it will pass. Alan may lots of laughter be with you and may you have sunshine, blue skies, and gentle breezes to cool you as you walk on your trip. Blessings to All

Alan, I hope you have a wonderful holiday in Hungary. It sounds fascinating.
I am enjoying a great time with my granddaughter in town. My daughter is so big, and she is not due till August. The doctors say my future grandson is going to be big. He comes by it honestly, both of my sons were huge, and so was my son-in-law.
We are having glorious weather here in PA.
---Trish9863 on 6/3/09|
You're most welcome Alan.
When you go on holiday, you really go for it my friend!
That sounds wonderful, a walking holiday in Hungary!
God bless you and enjoy a wonderful trip!

I am going on holiday on Saturday! A week of walking in Hungary. I pray for a safe time
I also pray for all those who lost loved ones in the aircrash over the Atlantic, and for everyone else affected by the tragedy

NVB ... Thank you. I'm sure your prayers aboutr the situation led God to place me at their home at the precise time I could give effective help to care for him in the last 2 days.
She will be staying in this country, perhaps returning to South ASfrica to be with her family when she retires.
My phone was "terminal, the dishwasher engineers comes on Friday, and I am waithing to hear from the pump people.
I'm getting away from it all on Saturday, as I go to Hungary for a week's walking holiday.
Thanks for the things you send to me by email!

Oh Alan I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your friends. We'd been praying for the husband of the lady who runs the shop. Will she stay in the UK or go back to her own country?
I hope all your water problems are solved!
I dropped my phone in water once. I took out the battery and dried it as best I could.
I let the phone sit open for a couple of days and it dried out and worked just fine!

trish,no furnace woes. the low was 28 last night.

Well, the tail end of May brought me a few visitations from the Water Gremlin.
The new pump in my pond failed twice in ten days.
In trying to investigate this, my mobile phone fell in the pond, and was wrecked
Then in the evening my dishwasher outlet must have got blocked, and it started flooding the kitchen. It took all my towels to soak up the water..
Butr it's hot and sunny, so I was able to wash them all and dry them in the garden

Sadly, three of my acquaintances died.
Age 81 The husband of the manager of one of the charity fund-raisng shops where I volunteer. He was also a mainstay of their annual Christmas Bazaar
Quite young ... A key member of my choir
About 80 ... a strong Christian in one of the Churches I am connected to locally, and a help to me on many occasions.

Tom, sorry to hear about your furnace woes. Hope it is okay soon.
My kids are here and we had a glorious day celebrating my granddaughter's second birthday yesterday at a picnic. God is healing my broken foot. School will end soon, and I will be able to work my summer job at the hospital.
God is good, all the time.
