Jesus talked to the samaritian woman at the well who was a hooker. God forgave her so yes. ---Scott on 7/13/11
Don't know about her being a hooker....she was married 5 times.
She was a "Lost Sheep" of Israel as per her revelation of her father who dug the well.
It is interesting Christ "knew" his own....the diciples didn't.

It is written because they have no changes there is no light in them. It is also written that we are sanctified by the renewing of our mind. It is written you shall know the tree by it's fruit.
It is hard to believe that a person is a new creature in Christ when they glorify and take pride in a lifestyle that should have died when they come to Christ.
He that is joined unto the Lord is one Spirit.
Joining Christ to prostitution in any sense (past or present) is blasphemy of the Holy Ghost.

God forgives all sin. Yes, He forgives hookers but I must say If I was "hookers for Jesus", I would remove the hookers. When one is born again, all things are new. There is no such thing as a hooker for Jesus. It may be "ex-hookers for Jesus" but I wouldn't want that associated with me either.

John 8:4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. 5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? 7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
Luke 6:37, "Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven"

Jesus talked to the samaritian woman at the well who was a hooker. God forgave her so yes. As far as a name I think it is great. It is time Christians got a spine and met people were they are not after they are "cleaned."

I don't mean to be a little abrupt, but I think that she should change her title. I think that it would be better if she calmed it down a bit. I like that she is helping people a lot. At least someone has kindness in this evil generation.

I know a woman in Las Vegas that was a 'lady of the evening' many years ago.
She has had a ministry for about 25 years of helping others to get off the streets, off drugs and into a safe house to hide them from their pimps.
Once they're ready, physically and spiritually she helps them to leave the area so they'll be safe.
God can and will forgive all sin if asked with repentance.

He forgave you and I , didn't he. Remember, he said he came for sinners, not for the perfect. If you're perfect, then you don't need Jesus.
Often our biggest problem is we don't understand the state of our own sinfulness. The bible however, is a mirror to our soul and shows us all for the depraved people we are by nature - there is NO righteousness (right standing with God) outside of Christ.

Yes, He can forgive that lifestyle. She has repented from a life of prostitution and now goes to street corners nightly preaching to women who are selling their bodies. She appeals to them by sharing her testimony about repentance and redemption.
She runs an organization called Hookers for Jesus comprised of women who once were prostitutes, but are now in submission to Him and are working to introduce other prostitutes to Him.
She appeared on Nightline not long ago debating with others who do not believe satan exists. Though seemingly new to the faith, she appears to be humble and sincere. I am happy she has found love and I pray she is strengthened in fighting the good fight.
My congratulations to the happy couple.

Matthew 12:31-32 says that whoever blasphemes the son will be forgiven, but whoever blasphemes the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.
While you could argue that this title may blaspheme the son, you can't say that it blasphemes the Holy Spirit.

\\Annie is marrying Oz Fox who is a guitarist with Stryper the so-called "Christian" rock band. Figures she'd go for the wild side of Christianity.
---SusieB on 6/6/09\\
And the standard of Christian behavior is white suburbanites of the 50's, right?
I don't care much for Stryper, myself, but I don't confuse my personal tastes with objective Christian standards.

Hookers for Jesus? you must be kidding.
---andy3996 on 6/8/09|
Interesting question. What she did seems to blaspheme Jesus or the Holy Spirit. According to the Bible, anyone who blasphemes the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven for that sin. However, it depends on what your definition of blaspheme is.

Of course God can forgive that lifestyle. But "Hookers for Jesus"? EX-hookers may be for Jesus, but I doubt that hookers can.

\\ God can and will forgive anything, as long as you do two things: Repent of sin (confess, and turn from), and forgive others. \\
Does this mean that two divorced and remarried Christians, who are living in a relationship that Jesus called "adultery" have to separate, too?
---Cluny on 6/6/09|
Yes, God can forgive that lifestyle. One of "promicuous sexual activity".
However, the consequences of that lifestyle could continue. I hope that God has also cleansed the woman's body of any diseases like AIDS or genital herpes. Otherwise, the woman getting married is putting her husand-to-be at risk. I'd consider that a crime.
I still think that it is "best" for people, men and women, to avoid become sexually promiscous in the first place. I believe 100% that God does too.

God can and will forgive anything, as long as you do two things: Repent of sin (confess, and turn from), and forgive others. The ONLY thing God will not forgive is if you Blaspheme (talk against) the Holy Spirit.
