yes!!!! only about a month after my wife and I got married. I remember one night waking my hands and arms were freezing cold, and i screamed, but nothing but loud "moans" came out. didn't sleep for the rest of the moring. 2 nights later same thing only this time as soon as i opened my eyes i saw something dark not sure what it was, and the sound of wings flapping. i was scared. at work my wife and close friends of ours prayed but i would still wake at night with the same feeling. so i began sing out loud a worship song, and fell to sleep. only your faith will make demons leave, not a bible, not holly water, you yourself ordering them to leave giving them no place in your home. |

joel,thanks for your concern,that was about 18 years ago shortly after i had given my life to Christ i guess Satan was trying to scare me off, he failed and never tried that trick again.i guess he got a fright when i called to Jesus for help.....we are never alone!!!. |

If I were you, I would find a pastor who knows alot about demon possession and tell him that story. But be careful because some believe that this is alien possession, as in E.T. stuff?

Yes i have been asleep then fully awake with something pushing down on my chest it literally sucked the air from my lungs,but mentally i called to Jesus and away it went,oh he hates us alright loves the fear to try and get us to back off,my advice is advance into his realm full of power speak out with the sword and do him some damage, spiritual warfare i love it,you are a warrior in an army sharpen up on the truth and lets advance we cant set captives free sitting in church listening, we need to get active just like the word. |

I walk with a cane. I have a friend who travels back and forth to Asia. Recently he brought me a very fancy handcarved cane. Immediately upon looking on the cane I knew that somehow some way it contained evil. I refused to use the cane and think it was sold in a garage sale.---- I also agree with what has been written concerning praying and speaking about the Lord's blood to free ourselves of demonic influences. |

This happened to me before when I was in Malaysia. I was laying down in my bed about noon, my friend was sitting few meters away facing the TV. Suddenly something invisible sat on me and can hardly breathe and move,tried to call my friend but no voice came out.I believe its evil spirit, and alot of old people die because of this.Doctor might say its a sudden heart attack. |

I just had one of these dreams the other night. It was like I was awake because it was in real time, but I was sleep. I got very calm and in my inner spirit, because I couldn't talk I said Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.I rebuke you in the Name of Jesus..I plead the blood of Jesus..You have no power over me.I am covered with his blood and I kept saying that over and over and it left. My dad who is a preacher said it can mean 1 of 3 things. 1. Your relationship with God is wavering and not where it should be. 2. You are getting closer to God and the Devil wants to intervene. or 3. A demon was trying to get within you but your inner spirit was too grounded in the word. If this is happening to you, I encourage you to plead the blood of Jesus over your life. |

I used to think it was sleep paraylsis until the very last time it happened to me.
I woke up on the couch, eyes opened, I could move my toes, but nothing else. Couldnt speak at all. Had a horrible evil feeling come over me. Clear as could be I heard someone tell me "call my name" and I KNEW who it was.
After 3-4 attempts to move my lips, I finally got them open enough to whisper the name of Jesus, and immediately it was over. I could move all parts of my body. I consider moments like that blessings from God. They build faith.

Late brother's experience: An acquaintance (son of an African hunter) proposed to help my brother with power & gave him something in a tiny gourd to keep in his room. From that day an evil spirit in the form of a pig enter his room every night to rescue/fight/disturb him. When our Mum noticed his lack of peace, sat him down, he confessed. Our Mum told him to return the gift back to his friend. Then the evil spirit never came back. So normally/usually, there is a physical/contact link to these evil experience(s) but many cases may not be that easy to decipher. Heartfelt/sincere prayer to Jesus Christ to break you away from the forces of darkness will solve all these problems. AT THE NAME OF JESUS(sincerely called)..all evil spirits flee. |

One night when I was sleeping at a friend's house, I woke up and felt this dark and evil presence that entered the house. I could see a dark figure move towards me and it was as if it went into my chest. I was thrown flat down on my back and my arms straight by my side. I couldn't move anything, but my eyes. It became hard to breathe and my mouth was frozen open. I tried and tried to call for my friend for help, but couldn't get out much more than a moan. It seemed to last forever when just as quickly as it had happened, I felt the presence leave and saw the figure go through the wall. I didn't want to sleep for days after this. |

I too had problems with demons. When my fascination with Satan's and demonic power stopped and was replaced with an indignation toward this I was able to close the entranced points. I did it with the Blood of Jesus. I normally don't even respond to blogs about this subject because I somehow think it edifies Satan. I don't want to dignify his tricks. The bloggers are right however when they say that it is us that create openings for demonic activity. Focusing on following the leading of the Holy Spirit, praying, and diligently seeking/speaking wisdom through the word of God will help identify those holes. You may need to fast and pray. Remember "they overcame with the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony". |

You are having these experiences because you are opening doors to demons. You are doing it because you are in denial about your life and how you should live it. If you are truly in the right place following Jesus you would have power in your life and these demons would be terrified of you and would not even touch you.
You could tread on serpents and scorpions. I have already been though what you are talking about and came to the place to totally surrender myself and take up my cross. You are the one that is giving power to these demons by the weakness of your flesh. You resist the devil by submitting to God and then the devil will flee. |

experienced demons pinning me down to my bed, growling in my ear. The demon breaths fire in my ear. The demon takes total control of my body. My body feels like its on fire. I can not breathe, speak, or move. The dream always takes place between 3:00 3:44 a.m. I notice I wake up right before the dream occurs. Once I fall back asleep, the dream usually lasts 25-35 minutes. The demon holds me down, I try to yell and rebuke it using Jesus name and the words dont come out of my mouth because the weight on my body is so heavy and I cant breathe. After several attempts to yell, I can finally get the words out. The demon and all the heavy weight are pulled off my body and I can breathe again. I yell so loud it wakes me up and the nightmare is over. |

I've had this happen to me before too where i cannot wake up from a dream unless i do something i would never do such as jump off a building or find a gun and shoot myself. it is very scary and when i do wake up i am usually covered in sweat and shaking. I think you are right though it usually only happens when i watch a scary movie or if i am worried about something bad happening. |

I believe there are ranks of them some come at night, some in the day some use a force some don't.
strange things happen when your alone with in your family home they'll cause havoc throw things turn things off or on... if your or upset, of if you mess with the Occult...loads of different ways really. when Your confident and know what your dealing with you feel them but they won't hang around for you to cast them Out. Your body hair raises and you become super sensitive you hear the most minute noise.
Then they run at just the though of Jesus's name, that's how you know through experience. |

I don't like speaking about them Ed I'm not afraid but the experiences were frightening and it's like reliving those experiences I've wrote this several times now but it gives too much detail and it's a long story and It's nerve racking thinking just how bad things were, I'm over them now but it does me no good writing in too much detail, sorry i had one very bad experience which Left me and my sister timid for several months.
I guess I'm still nerved by it all, just believe me when I say I now believe that my experience help me to help others to over come them. Jesus's name works every time and when you fast and pray you can move the noisy /harmful ones that hurl things at you and they come while you are awake subtle but they exist . |

Unfortunately while my friends were dabbling with the board i didn't believe them and asked a question(not saying what) but the answer materialized through the request I asked and the table went up and everyone ran out my friends house. I guess this could be why I have these experiences but through demon busters on-line I got some useful prayers that I utilised to my own needs and since then I have no more strange goings ons that I can't handle.
Overcoming them is much better to write about! |

Okay my friends said they used to either say the lords prayer, the psalms, one said she just used to find herself saying Hallelujah????
another said she used to speak in tongues, others just said they tried to fight but none of them thought they were demons, because this happen when I didn't know myself what it was until I convinced myself I was going off my trolley and testified in church.
The church prayer group came to pray but they were right off the rails they said it was demons in a picture my sons had on their wall and took the picture down.
But the experiences got progressively worse and worse where now I could see them and here them but it's not obvious because you only ever felt them coming in or out of sleep. |

I have had demonic visitations of various kinds before Christ became my lord and saviour. I dabbled with witchcraft in early adulthood and paid the price in the future. I have been held down against my will and I have also been physically molested and emotionally tormented. I fear I also was possessed on several occasions. The latter I can't be sure about. This is all very hard to talk about, but I have wondered if other Christians have had the same experiences. |

Demons come to oppress you during the late part of your sleep as you are about to wake, they sometimes appear to be someone you know until reality hits you and you realise no one is in the house with you, with fright you jump to get up but can't, eventually either a psalm, prayer or the name of Jesus springs to mind and the presence leaves.
Over the years these attacks got worse and I asked both my saved friends and unsaved if this ever happen to them mixed response from Christians and my unsaved friends said with different stories that they experienced not been able to wake as though someone was holding them down/been unable to speak.
I have helped them by telling them to repeat Jesus name all of them said Jesus name worked. |

Was it a dream or real? Did you wake up from sleep when it happened? If it wasn't something you felt while you were asleep, maybe it was a demonic attack due to witchcraft. A witch might have sent it to you to curse you. Are there occult objects, dirty magazines, dirty/violent movies, books in your home? Is there sin in your life? Demons are drawn to those things-it gives them entry into your life. You need to repent of sin, ask God's forgiveness and pray & keep praying for the Holy Spirit. |

The brain is an amazing gift from God and that is why God instructs us to know him with our minds as well. I agree that in many cases our dreams are simply creative instant replays of the days events however we can have some control of the content and not be helpless sponges. We had a tornado in our town the other day, in my youth I would have had terrible dreams about it, however last night I had wonderful dreams about flying. In essence, if we try to find the positive and good in our daily situations our dreams often will fall in line as well. If you dwell on satan, either positively or negatively, guess what you will dream about that night? |

This used to happen to me when I was a teen, whenever I would watch scarry movies (which are of the devil, and opens up doors to the demoninc). I would dream that I was being chased, and could not run to escape, I also could not wake up. During this time, it was if a hand was pressing on my stomach (where your spirit and soul are), and holding me down, so I could not move. These dreams were in black and white (demonic dreams). Since I stopped watching these kinds of things, I have not had any of these dreams since. This goes to prove that we must watch what we put into our eye gate, ear gate, and mouth gate - so we do not open doors to the demonic. |

This phenomenon is called "sleep paralysis."
It is probably behind the tales of alien visitation and experimentation.
Very few people I know, including myself, are spiritual enough to be attacked and restrained by demons in their sleep. |
