I comment because the things that people say reveal what is in their hearts. Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. What they say reveals what they know of God's word and what they are manufacturing in their own minds and calling it God's word. What you believe is what you get is what Jesus said. Paul said to let them be accursed that followed their opinions of God's word and not it's meaning.
God called me to an internet ministry, to try to awaken people to the truth of his word. The reason is that Judgement is beginning in the House of the Lord and he is sending fire to try it and purge it of sin.

To share the truth from Christ, the only real one salvation for mankind: for some he is the precious cornerstone, and for others he is a stumbling stone and rock of offense.

wow, what great comments here. I like Cluny's also. Although, for me I would say, I want to stimulate others thinking and stimulate my own.

The Lord tells us that after salvation there are works appointed for us to do. I am convinced sharing the gospel is the most important of these works. The second, as I see it, is defending the truth of His word, and His Word against wolves who would lead people away from the Truth into darkness.

What joy it is to do both!

To offer the wisdom and knowledge I have of the Lord Jesus Christ to share with others so that we all may grow up in the knowledge of Him.

I also love learning from others. I have learned alot from some of the posters here. I am open to scripture based opinions and to what the Bible says about things.

For example. When someone asked do you know what it means to be made in His image. I thought that meant when we receive Jesus as Lord and Savior we become a new creation. Well that's true, but I learned to be made in His image means we are born with a body and soul and he breathed His spirit into our being thus we are body, soul and spirit.

I mainly blog for educational reasons. I believe that I am different in my perspectives about social and educational issues, from many mainline conservative believers. I have learned that many people have never met a believer who holds my views on some issues.

I love the Lord Jesus and am devoted to serving Him with my life. I blog to educate those who might say otherwise.

Much as Mary already said, I enjoy debating issues (hopefully politely). Ideally, doing so will be an educational experience for myself and others.

When others post things that seem wrong to me, I ask them to provide evidence for their claims. If they have no evidence, this may be an indication to them to re-examine their claims (and, more importantly, for others to recognize that they are merely unsubstantiated opinions.)

If they DO provide evidence, it may be an indication that I need to re-examine my own beliefs and opinions, and I'm perfectly willing to admit when I'm wrong about something. In this way, everybody wins (as long as each person's desire to teach and learn is greater than his own ego).

It's a way to determine if your views have faults, which everyone's views do have faults.

Well, I find that God has me satisfied and caring to share what I can. But I am always concerned that I could be trying to just put someone down, make myself look good, be like you're ignorant and I'm the one to straighten you out. These possibilities nag me, so I pray for God to correct me and make sure I give what He wants. How He is judging my participation and would critique each item after I did it > this would be "interesting" for us to read (o:

I feel the challenge, that I can pray and God can have me write what He knows applies to each person posting a question. Not to give just a generalized answer, or only theoretical.

Hi, I enjoy debating issues (politely) with people I will likely never meet, it's safe and fun and can be a real learning experience too :)
