God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us.

Lee, To state that GOD created the heavens and the Earth in 6 literal, 24-hour days is not "limiting" God to anything. If GOD can create all that in 144 hours, then who is to turn around and say He didn't really do what the Scriptures say that He did? As I said, GENESIS 1:3-5 states that the first 24-hour day was created when He created the Night and the Day-time. That was the FIRST DAY, and that first day set the pattern for the remaining 5 days of Creation in the Creation Week. GOD is all-Powerful...who in the world is to say that He couldn't have created all in 6 literal 24-hour days, when the Scriptures say that He did. Those who say He didn't are the ones "limiting" GOD.

Yes He is sinless. If He wasn't, He would not be Almighty God. 1st Tim. 3 v 16.
---Lawrence on 10/27/09

Yes he is the perfect Lamb of God, the firstborn without spot or blemish. A chosen sacrifice, pure and holy, and innocent of any guile.

Gordon //If you understand, at least an inkling, of how POWERFUL Almighty GOD really is, it's not impossible to believe and KNOW that the Creation Week was a Week of 7 literal Days.

While it is not impossible to believe the Creation week was 7 literal days, it is also not impossible to realize that God is NOT BOUNDED by our concept of time.

You are mistaken if you believe God was limited to a 24 hour creation period.

Augustine, a giant of the faith, once commented God could have created the entire creation simply by His word with no relationship to time.

Warwick claims that my authority for doctrinal views is not the Bible but in reality, his authority seems more to be his ASSumptions.

Of course Jesus was Mod. :) If He weren't, there would be no hope of SALVATION for any of us.

Atheist: Sin is rebellion against/disobedience toward God. Though it is clearly seen in the physical (outer appearance) body of mankind, it's a cancer-like spirit blight of the inner man that only the "spotless" (sin-free) Son of God (Jesus) can cure. That's the heart of the matter.

I say "can" cure because Jesus is yet saving all persons who believe on Him for their SALVATION (healing, regeneration, spirit quickening). :)

YAHUSHUA (JESUS) was indeed sinless. YAHUSHUA had to be sinless, to be the Spotless Lamb, in order to atone for the sins of mankind. If YAHUSHUA had sinned only ONCE, it would have immediately disqualified Him from being the Saviour of mankind. The thing is, is that it needs to be understood and believed that YAHUSHUA was truly the Son of GOD, one-third part of the GOD-Head. Being God, it would've been absolutely impossible for Him to sin. He is God and GOD's Nature is Pure, Holy and Sinless. He could not have thought, spoken nor acted against His own Nature. Even encased in Flesh which was tempted in all ways as we are.

"Was Jesus Christ sinless?"

Jesus would ask " Which of you 'convinceth' (convicts, or can prove [me] guilty) of sin?" Jhn 8:46
He would then tell you "Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me." Jhn 14:30 Thereby answering the question.
Peter's witness would support the truth of that, as if it needed support, by his testimony that Jesus "did no sin, neither was 'guile' (deceit) found in his mouth:" 1Pet.2:22

no,scripture tells us we have a savior who shares our weakness, having been tempted.Being tempted is not sin as your reply insinuates.acting on that temptation is sin when it conflicts with Gods word. Now iam not talking about getting a large chocolate ice cream cone ,instead of a small temptation, when you know you probably shouldn,t have one at all.For men its more like a hot half naked woman walks by,wheres your mind then men?being tempted?

"Yes jesus Christ is the spotless lamb of God he`s without spot or wrintle."

Does this mean that redheads with lots of freckles, those with moles, or those old with wrinkles are 'sinful'.
---atheist on 10/22/09

Of course. He bore sin and its penalty but is sinless.
---larry on 10/22/09

I was wondering if Jesus was capable of sinning. If he wasn't then he couldn't have been tempted to sin either, don't you think? on 10/22/09

Yes. Bible says so.

1 Cor 5:21 "He who knew no sin became sin for us so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him".

Heb 9:14 "how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?"
