THe only true righteousness is by walking in the Spirit, because we suffer the infirmities as long as we live here.
Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

"Is Walking in the Holy Spirit the same as walking in Righteousness?" Of course. The righteousness of the law is fulfilled in those who walk according to the Spirit. For he that walks in the Spirit will not fulfill the lust of the flesh, and the fruit of the Spirit "is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. (For the fruit of the Spirit [is] in all goodness and righteousness and truth,) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord." And "[There is] therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." Rom.8:4>Gal.5:16,22,23>Eph. 5:9,10>Rom.8:1 |

Well, by "righteousness", there are people who mean their religious ways that they have themselves decided are righteous. And we have seen how in certain copy-cat, *conformist* religious *culture* ones have such superficial and low standards, that a psychopath predator can easily imitate their standards and even pass oneself off as being a minister or priest. But in the Bible Paul says, "for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit." (Romans 14:17) So, walking in the Holy Spirit's righteousness would of course be walking in the Spirit (o: This righteousness has to do with how only God's love is right (1 John 4:17). |
