Jesus knocks on every male & females hearts door. Not every one will open their hearts door to envite Jesus to come in.
Some of mankind aft a while do see that Jesus is strict & canNot live the life, will give up, show Jesus the door & let Him out. So many in this world wont be saved-saved, stay with Him till their # is called or the group of #'s called at once (the rapture, those that are called away that has taken on His Name).

Last night at prison ministry I was deeply impressed by the young man who went in with me. He spoke first and illustrated a real evangelistic spirit. But the most exciting thing about him was his age he is 22 years old and is fast becoming a superb soulwinner. When you consider that he works one-on-one on the street, most of the time, one can just see that he is accomplishing what could be called" saving the world" howbeit he is doing this one soul at a time.

It is never to late to save another soul, and then that soul can witness and save another one, and that one will save one, and another one, and another one. Our command is to go preach to the lost that they too may become saved as we are, else our faith if it is nonactive is in vain or dead.

This world will never be saved. The wicked is going to get wose. The righteous more righteous. That's it.

\\Therefore as followers of Christ we are instructed to "Love not the world, neither the things [that are] in the world. [For] If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him." We are to overcome the world rather than seek to save it.\\

The same Greek word for word--KOSMOS--used here is used in John 3:16 about what God loved so much.

Never too late to spread the Gospel.

But sin, war and chaos will NEVER cease until Jesus comes. Global warming (or cooling, depending on who you listen to) is not preventable and probably not potentially catastrophic. More scientists are asserting this now. The environmental scare tactics are mainly political.

WE can't SAVE the world, though every generation has has men who tried. God alone can save the world. And HIS interest is in SAVING at a time. Our job is to spread the glorious truth of Jesus Christ.

This statement, "That system can not be saved for its adherents deems no salvation necessary." the way in which it is worded, is probably untrue. I do believe the adherents do indeed sense a need to save their system, so what I meant to convey is "they" deem no supernatural intervention necessary. The system, as a whole, is looking to the heads of it's financial institutions, government agencies, or elected officials for answers rather than seeking the Father in prayer for direction, which of course is an alien concept to the carnally minded. However, after the spurious messiah is revealed there will come a time, "when 'they' shall say, Peace and safety, then sudden destruction comes upon them."

The people in this world already have salvation at their door.It is a matter of how hungry people are to dine with the Master of the kingdom.
Jesus already saved this world that was lost.It is obvious that there are and will continue to be numerous casualties .
There are multiple and numerous takes on the outcome of this world but I do agree with you in that most are expecting some form of doom in the future and they believe it is useless to counter prophecy.
As far as end times global warming is the big talk.Ambient Temperature Warmth leads to pestilence. It leads to famine .It leads to etc.A planet evacuation may be over the horizion.

As I've pointed out several times, the Bible in Acts 2 clearly says we've been in the last days since the outporing of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost some 2000 or so years ago.

These are the only "last days" that relate to salvation. Anything beyond that is simply needless and fruitless speculation.

Jesus came to save the "world" as in the inhabitants of the earth who are alienated from the Father and hostile to the cause of Christ due to an adherence to a sensually based system of things focused on the external adornments, riches, advantages, pleasures, etc of that system. Which although hollow, frail and fleeting, stirs intense desires, and is a seductive obstacle to the cause of Christ. That system can not be saved for its adherents deems no salvation necessary. Therefore as followers of Christ we are instructed to "Love not the world, neither the things [that are] in the world. [For] If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him." We are to overcome the world rather than seek to save it.
