Who can understand God? I am giving up in trying to understand God. Our finite minds just can not fully understand God. Don't give up, keep praying. "MAY GOD'S WILL BE DONE". |

YES, God definitely answers prayers. God have answered many of my prayers and also some which He didn't, but that doesn't mean that He doesn't love us. He loves us so much that is why He takes time to listen to us. Sometimes God's answers might be Yes,No or Wait. Yes, because He loves you and wants you to be happy. No, because He still loves you and wants you to get more than you are praying for. And Wait, because he wants to give you whatever you want when the time is right so that you can always be blessed. Make sure that you count His blessings since you first came into this world. He has been answering your prayers all the time and you didn't even know it. Be patient and keep praying coz He is still listening. God Bless you. |

Ray, Have you ever tried praying, "Thy will be done?" If you would surrender your desires to God's will, you will find Him faithful to be everything you need. Your wife's health and your dreams should be devoted to God's glory, not to you getting your way. When we realize that the one we call Lord is the Sovereign Master of everything, then we will more fully understand His awesomeness. Until then we are wasting our breath, because God wants us to find fulfillment in Him alone. |

When I'm on these blogs and see a post that needs answering, I sit back in my chair for a few minutes and pray for wisdom, asking God for an answer to post a reply. He gives wisdom to men liberally.
James 1:5 Matthew 25:21 Galatians 5:22 Philippians 1:4 Ephesians 3:20
It seems that many of you read a post and quickly reply according to your worldly knowledge and without meditating on it. I pray that all of you do the same instead of answering posts without seeking wisdom from God. |

Prayer is not for god to answer our wish list, instead it is to conform us to his will. Read (Luke 22:41-42) "And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done".If God does not give you what you want, that doesn't mean he hasn't answered you, it's probably not the answer you would want but do what jesus did and accept the will of God. (Isa55:8)"For my thoughts [are] not your thoughts, neither [are] your ways my ways, saith the LORD". If the cup did pass from jesus, if he never died for us then where would we be, I'll tell you, we would still be a slave to our sins. |

God answers all prayers...
...no ands, ifs, or buts or the excuse that He answers in His time. Prayer is simply communicating with God like you would write in your personal journal or confide in a very close friend. Jesus said to ask for anything...
Luke 11:9 John 16:23-26 James 1:5-6 James 4:3 1 John 3:22 1 John 5:14-15
If you have the smallest of doubt, your prayers will not be answered. If you ask amiss or the prayer is not specific, your prayer will not be answered. If your prayers are of a selfish request, your prayer will not be answered. |

God does answer prayers in his own time. I recently have been blessed by an answer to a prayer I have had for over 20 years, my brother quit drinking alcohol. God desires for all of us to be healthy but we must examine ourselves to make sure we are living a healthy life style. And for your dreams to come true they must be in alignment with God's word. Sometimes God's plans are different than our own and we must listen for his voice to guide us. It is his will not ours that we must follow. My own life is not what I planned or initially wanted in my youth. IT IS BETTER because I surrendered myself to the Lord and when you let him take control it can only get better, better than you ever imagined. God Bless You My Friend. |

Yes, I really believe that God does answer prayers. I always thought I shouldn't ask God for something for myself. I would pray for someone else. But one day I did and he answered me and I thanked him for it. |

there are reasons why prayers are not answered is bec. there are ignorant christians who instead of becoming a stepping stone, they are a stumbling block a blind man cried out to christ for healing but the people around him said 'shut up'. christ said that you faith has healed you.
another is when a believer ask for a fish they are given a snake. christ saw a crippled woman & he healed her but it was on a sabbath. a synagogue leader said that 'it is unlawful to heal on a sabbath.' when believers ask for something, other who are self righteous believers would say 'that is not biblical' or points to sin. |

And now, Ray, you have us praying along with you . . . for God to do what He really pleases . . . better than we can hope > why limit ourselves to what we can want (o: God bless you. You have what you do have. And why is she unhealthy? I don't know you, of course, but I do know people who have abused themselves. One thing I think of is how God wants us to give *ourselves* to Him, not just try to use Him, every now and then for certain things, while treating Him like He's out there somewhere in the distance > first to get close to Him and obey Him in His perfect peace ruling us in our hearts (Colossians 3:15, John 14:27) > have we received all He wants for us, of *His* dreams for us (o: I hope you share here, more, about yourself, Ray. |

God always answers prayers.
Sometimes, He says, "Yes." Somtimes, He says, "No."
And sometimes, He says, "Wait." |

GOD answers Prayers, the way, HE wants them answered. And, in HIS time, not ours!! That in no way, means that, HE doesn't still love us! |
