Double Judge Church Clergy

Sandra, what you wrote about there being no Apostles of Christ existing in the world today is 100% true, but for some reason people reject this.
The conditions which must be met for a person to be and Apostle of Christ Jesus is found in Acts 1:12-26. There is not a person alive today who can meet these conditions.
Those people in the world today who claim to be an Apostle of Christ are those people who are written about in 2 Corinthians 11:1-15. |

The last Apostles were John and Paul. No more apostles exist today. But, God gave gifts to people for the management and building up of the church. The Catholic church is not a true church with the authority it thinks it has.
Respect each person's gift in the body of Christ. He/she is a minister of that gift to the glory of God and the good of the church. The church is the body of believers, not a building. |

First, there is no Biblical position of "church clergy."
Second, "Any rewards will be given to those who faithfully follow Christ."
One person may have a "visable" position, but their reward will be based on their following Christ.
Another person may have a private ministry of prayer that no one sees but God. This person may recieve a greater reward.
Believers don't stack up rewards by choosing for themselves what they should do for YHWH to get rewards.
Believers should follow Christ, and let the rewards take care of themselves. |

1/2 Noblesse oblige, Luke 12:47-48. James 3:1, "My brethren, be not many masters (teachers), knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation." *1. The Lord judged the Pharisees and Scribes more severely not only because they were wrong, but also because they taught error to others, Matthew 23:13, Luke 11:52. *1 Romans 2:17-23, 1Corinthians 12:29, Ephesians 4:11-13, 1Timothy 1:7, 5:22, Hebrews 5:12-14, James 3:1-18, 2John 1:8, Revelations 3:15-16. |

2/2 There are some that believe Christians, and more so Ministers of the Gospel, will receive extra rewards in Heaven, or in the Kingdom. Dominionists say, for example, some might end up ruling neighborhoods, and others continents *1. I don't believe that the Bible specifically addresses what rewards one might receive for service, but faithful servants do receive his approval *2. *1 (?) Matthew 16:27, 1Corinthians 6:2, 1Peter 5:4, Revelations 22:5, 12. *2 Matthew 24:45-51, Luke 12:37-48. Also, Christians: Luke 12:31-32, John 14:2-3, Romans 2:6-11, 6:23, 1Corinthians 2:9, 9:25, Colossians 3:22-24, 2Timothy 4:8, Hebrews 4:9, 9:15, 12:28, 1Peter 1:4, etc. |

I personally do know were it is written that "church clergy" will be Judged more harshly or rewarded any greater than any of the Father's children. This I know "the time [is come] that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if [it] first [begin] at us, what shall the end [be] of them that obey not the gospel of God?" "that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not [himself], neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many [stripes]. But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few [stripes]. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more." |

The church clergy is always noted to lord over the laity. This is laity in bondage to the clergy. Shall a religious overlord be rewarded? |

The basic reward is to be like Jesus. You can't be doubly how Jesus is, can you (o: But I understand there will be rewards of position and praise. But the main reward is we have God, by obeying Him in His peace and love > while we are pleasing to God in His love, this love is also so very pleasing to us in Heaven's very own beautifully pure and unbelievably wonderful pleasant rest > "Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us." (Romans 5:5) So, if we love God, our reward includes how we are pleasing to Him. And we are reaping, in His love, how we are pleasing to Him > we have this feedback, now, being pleased while being pleasing (1 Peter 3:4) (o: |
