Paul's Gospel 1Cor. 15:1-4 is the Gospel, by which we are saved. The Gospel which he calls my gospel, gospel of your salvation gospel of christ, gospel of god, gospel of peace, etc.
Rom. 2:16 on the day when, according to MY GOSPEL,(ref 1cor 15:1-4) GOD will judge the secrets of men through Christ Jesus.

The gospel of the grace of God (Acts 20:24), is only a part of the Gospel of the Kingdom of God (Acts 20:25).
---dork on 2/18/10

The simplest Gospel in the Bible is found in 1 Cor 15:1-4 what Paul calls his Gospel or the Gospel of the Grace of God, revealed only to him by the ascended Christ.

* The God given Salvation Gospel Is according to Mark 16 v 16 - Acts 2 v's 37-41 which Fulfills Matt.28 v's 19-20, Gal.1 v's 8-9 & with other scriptures. This was delivered to the Jewish people First on the day of Pentecost by Apostle Peter, then Apostle Paul brought This Very Same to us gentiles.
There is No one found in scriptures that was baptized in the titles Father-Son & Holy spirit, they All were baptized in The Name of The Lord & His Name Is, Jesus Christ.
The trin-leaders with their Man-made relig-org's churches deny the above where this * is. But when the rapture takes place & they see they didn't go, they wont deny it then, then it'l be to late for them.

Yet Brethren,
Deut 30:6: "And the Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your offspring, so that you will love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live."
Deut 4:9.
Deut 6:5
Proverbs 13:19: "A desire fulfilled is sweet to the soul, but to turn away from evil is an abomination to fools."
A sick soul, a crooked heart, the fountains of sin.
There is only One Gospel, The Word of God, from the "beginning", through the "blood of righteous Abel", on till the end.

1 Corinthians 15:1-4: Moreover brethren I declare the Gospel that I preached unto you, which also you have received, and wherein you stand,
By which also you are saved, if you keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless you have believed in vain.
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ (Jesus) died for our sins according to the scriptures,
And that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day... and was seen of many
Repent and believe the Gospel, Jesus Loves us so much, He has great plans for our lives. Get baptized in Jesus Name and receive the promised gift of the Holy Spirit

To Whosoever Has An Ear To Hear?

Brethren, The 'Body' spoken of in 1 Cor.6:18 is not our temporal body of flesh, but our Souls. Our Souls are the Body's which is the Temple of the Holy Ghost, brought with the Price of the Blood of Christ : so we may Glorify God in this Body/Soul, and in our spirit, which are God's. 1 Cor.6:18-20

If you're going to speak the Truth, speak the whole Truth and nothing but the Truth !!

Fornication is the sin against the Soul, every other sin is without & not against the Soul ...Hmmmmm make you rethink your worldly dogmatic definition of Fornication : that is if you're not the fool of Pro.18:2.

FYI~The Gospels are the first four Book of the NT : of the Life & ministry of Christ Jesus.

Proverbs 18:2, "A fool has no delight in understanding but in expressing his own heart"
---MarkV. on 2/15/10

1 Corinthians 6:18: "Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body, but he that commiteth fornication sinneth against his own body."

There be so many cool cats in their own minds who blame the body for everything, poor excuse. If what comes out of man be a body, it could be blamed, but what comes out is stated in Matthew 15:18-20.

Proverbs 26:4,6
"Do not answer a fool according to his folly, lest you also be like him"

for "he who sends a message by the hand of a fool cuts of his own feet and drinks violence."
---MarkV. on 2/15/10

Proverbs 26:3: "A whip for the horse, a bridle for the ass, and a rod for the fool's back."
James 1:26: "If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain."
Is man to flounder on deck like a tuna? Well, that may just be a fish and not a man.

Believers who have been fogiven have the Spirit of God within them:
"But you are not in the flesh (believers) but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you."
The body is dead because of sin, means the body is unredeemed and dead in sin but not our soul or Spirit.
---MarkV. on 2/13/10

Praise be to God in the highest, for if It wasn't for Him coming and taking us out of the path of distruction, we would still be going there. No man can take himself out of that path. Any other gospel is a false gospel.

"For it is God who worketh in us, both to will and to do of His good pleasure. And just because God is working in us, we strife to develope and to work out our own salavation" (Phil. 2:12,13).

The sinner has no power to turn himself unto God, but is turned or renewed by Divine Grace before he can do anything Spiritually good.
---MarkV. on 2/12/10

These fellows render false praise to God...
Hebrews 5:8: "Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered, ..."
But they say that such way is not for them, they are caused to obey and do not learn obedience by their suffering.
Jesus said, John 8:29: "And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone, for I do always those things that please him."
Yet they say that no matter what they do, the Father never leaves them!
How ye read?
{If ye love me, keep my commandments.
{And I will pray the Father, ...

Steven rem, another post worthy of repeating for those who have ears to hear,

Salvation is accomplished by the almighty power of the triune God. The Father chose a people, the Son died for them, the Holy Spirit makes Christ's death effective by bringing the elect to faith and repentance, thereby causing them to willingly obey the Gospel. The entire process (election, redemption, regeneration) is the work of God and is by grace alone. Thus God, not man, determines who will be the recipients of the gift of salvation.

MarkV, to exalt one at the expense of calling everyone else blind and stupid is arrogance.

God certainly did elect the CHURCH/ the Bride of Christ to be sanctified through the word. Jesus prayed this for His bride in John 17. Jesus also prayed in verse 20? that the lost will be told of His great love for sinners through OUR preaching of the Gospel. The Church is the CALLED OUT to reign and rule with Christ when Israel, His other ELECT Nation will come into THEIR promises.

Just because others have eyes to see what you don't (some SEE MORE) you call it a lie, because you haven't been brought to a place to see past Calvinism.
Overcomers are given the hidden manna only Christ can reveal!

Steven-rem, very good post you put out. If only more had eyes to see and ears to hear and a heart to comprehend the Words of God, they too would know the God of Scripture. But they have found a great comfort in the one they have created. One who is blind to what is happening in the lives of all humans, who is defeated day in and day out by man, who is losing millions to hell, and He cannot stop it. An impotent god who determines nothing.

What Paul speaks about as Rom.16:25 was kept secret until revealed only to him

michael_e, it seems many here are also overlooking Acts 1:6 & 7. Peter was asking Jesus if the earthly Kingdom promised to Israel was also at this time.Jesus said NO, only the Father KNOWS when that time will be. ( Zachariah 12-14 OT was not kept secret, or was it done away ) a promise is a promise! The Kingdom to Israel WILL be restored!

I think you and I can do more that read. I think WE have EYES to see!!!

Steven-rem-7000 all you have posted is scripturally based, and to 'my' understanding accurate. Amen. To those that may be concerned as to whether or not you will be called, or if you are of the elect. Or perhaps have doubts about the existence of God, or maybe you are simply confused as to how one who has "felt" no drawing receives an invitation. Please keep this in mind, The Father will "give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him." For He is One "Who desires 'all' men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth." Jesus is "the way, the truth, and the life." He willingly gave His corporeal life for 'your' salvation. Open your mind to Him, He loves you. Luk 11:13>1Ti 2:4>Jhn 14:6

a short version concisely if you will.
The absolute certainty of salvation conditioned "all" on Christ according to Gods promise. The gospel is the means God uses and the Holy Spirit gives life through it. IT IS THE POWER OF GOD
Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth
Mat 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
Joh 17:2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
Joh 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

The whole entire Bible is the "gospel of Jesus Christ"....He is the author. The four gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, is the life of Jesus Christ. I do not wish to diminish what He did on the cross, by no stretch of one's imagination! That's it.

the gospelof christ is also known as the gospel of thomas it is known as one of the hidden gospels it is said to be the actual words spoken to his disiples at the last supper it tells of his instructions to them how his churches were to be ran after his death, the church marked the text as herrasay, because it threatened the power and control of the church it's self

Patra, what did all you say have to do with my question? What you are suggesting is that God cannot do anything without us. When in fact He does many things through us, and others times without us. He does not have to depend on us in order to execute anything He wants to execute. He is not depended on us, We are depended on Him. As to the answer to your question, I do the will of God because I depend on His will not my will.
---MarkV. on 2/5/10

Because Mark in the beginning God Never said let us have dominion over the Earth. He said let them have dominion over the Earth. Look here God called on Noah, then Abraham, then Joseph, Moses, Gideon, Samuel, David, down on to Jesus. In addition you have Peter, Paul, James, and the others with the early church. Billy Graham, Jerry Farwell, E.V. Hill, others and myself. We all have made, and in the making of ourselves worthy of the blood of the Lamb. The Son did the Father's will so should we if we are children of the King of Kings. Are you?

You did good. The question below is typical of the modern teaching though, and my point on Israel.
Test question: 12. The Lord will bring back the Jews who are scattered among the nations.

Isaiah 43:5-6 - Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west, I will say to the north, Give up, and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, my daughters from the ends of earth,

Isaiah, speaks of ALL Israel. Jews are one twelveth.

Trav, why do you not just say what it is you want to say? it's like a guessing game.
It is one gospel, how is that pertaining to Israel or part of Israel? ---MarkV. on 2/5/10

Ok, GOSPEL=good news. If it is good news, who was experiencing bad news? Nations of Israel, divorced. See woman at the well.
If Gospel is truth, who was experiencing untruth? Nations of Israel divorced.Matthew 19:28
And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto .... ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
---Trav on 2/5/10

Trav, why do you not just say what it is you want to say? it's like a guessing game. You never tell me, this is what is going to happen with Israel because the prophets said so and only these people or remnant or just give what it is you want to say.
It is one gospel, how is that pertaining to Israel or part of Israel? Here is how I see the topic of Israel, those who will come by faith in Jesus Christ will be saved. Whatever the prophets said, it could not include those who rejected Christ for many of them are dead already. They died unbelievers. I took the test on CN concerning the Remnant and Israel and scored 100% yet when answering I was trying to figure out what you were refering to. You just don't come out and say it.
---MarkV. on 2/5/10

Patra, I have to question a comment you made, " If you don't believe that God wants you to be in agreement with Him then the Holy Spirit won't be able to execute God's will on Earth as it is in Heaven."
How can you possibly believe that God will not do His will on earth as it is in heaven, because you don't agree with Him?
Sounds to me like you are saying that God needs people to agree with Him in order for Him to do anything in the world. Did you stop to think about that? Maybe you didn't mean that at all or did you?

The blood of Jesus makes us righteous before God. Your Heavenly Father is please to give you the Kingdom. If you are child of God then you are Royalty. If you don't believe that God wants you to be in agreement with Him then the Holy Spirit won't be able to execute God's will on Earth as it is in Heaven. Read Your bible with the Help of the Holy Spirit and He will tell you all truth. Without Christ, there would not be any Jesus. Without Jesus, there would not be any pur and holy blood. Without the holy blood, there would not be a Holy Spirit sent to us. And without the Holy Spirit there can't be any communication between God and man. No communition results in no Kingdom of God, which was the state we were after the fall of Adam.
---patra8793 on 2/4/10

ok. le'ts look at this way. 1- God gave "Adam" dominion over the earth. Then He commanded them not eat from the tree of good and evil. Which means to me God intented to dominate the earth trhrough Adam. If God is King There must be a kingdom. Adam did not loose Heaven. Adam lost the King who was in Him. Thus they lost dominion over the Earth. Jesus who is the Christ in Flesh (God-Man)came and re-introduce the Kingdom that was lost. He told Nicodemus "the Kingdom is in you" that was a tip. The Kingdom was only in Jesus, The Holy Spirit. The blood of Jesus returns us to the original state. Jesus prayed "Your will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven". Follow next comment

The Gospel of the Kingdom was no mystery kept secret until after Jesus resurrection. Jesus talked about that before Calvary in Matthew. THAT Kingdom is His earthly Kingdom after the Church/Mystery is raptured to reign and rule with Him at that time.

Since there are different discriptive titles of gospel, are there different gospels? The answer is no, Paul said there was only one gospel in Galatians 1:6-9. ---MarkV. on 2/3/10

Gospel: Good News> something accepted or promoted as infallible truth.

MarkV,connected to our other discussions. If the Gospel is the truth, and there is only one....The question would be who was the "Truth", "Good News" it too?
Now, if one started at some definitive places such as Heb 8:8, and thousands of others the context of who becomes clear. Don't forget....as most doctrines/denoms do...one truth...one Gospel as you pointed too above. The prophets will verify truth on every point. Anything else....well is not Gospel.

The gospel for this present dispensation is found in the Apostle Paul's letters the simplest being 1 Cor, 15:1-4. being the death, burial and ressurection
Peter says
Acts 3:21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began
Paul says
Rom. 16:25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,

Since there are different discriptive titles of the gospel, are there different gospels? The answer is no, Paul said there was only one gospel in Galatians 1:6-9. Paul believed quite strongly that there was on one gospel, with the resulting inference that the various titles mentioned in Scripture are descriptive of the same gospel.
1. The gospel of peace Eph. 6:15.
2. The gospel of Christ 1 Cor. 9:12.
3. The gospel of the Grace of God Acts 20:24.
4. This gospel of the kingdom Matt. 24:14.
5. an eternal gospel Rev. 14:6

do you ever wonder why matt, mk. luke or john never mentioned the gospel of christ?
do you ever wonder why paul never mentions the gospel of the kingdom? there must be a reason

I can't find where the kingdom is witin you
1 Cor.3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
---michael_e on 2/2/10

Wait a minute Michael. Until Jesus ascended, He had never call Himself King. The Father was the King. He said the Father was with Him. The Holy Spirit. For God is a Spirit. He told Pilate my Kingdom is not of this world. After the resurrection, He promised them that He will be with them always. And the Father gives Him authorithy over Heaven and Earth. The capitol of the Kingdom of God on Earth, Michael, is in your heart where the King resides. Thus the Kingdom of God is in you. And the Kingdom of Heaven is the influence of the Kingdom of God wherever you are. Create yourself a little heaven on Earth for the sake of the King who lives in you.
---patra8793 on 2/2/10

do you ever wonder why matt, mk. luke or john never mentioned the gospel of christ?

they used the term gospel of the kingdom or the kingdom is at hand, because the king was at hand, now he has ascended and is not at hand. Only paul uses the term the gospel of christ or gospel of god or gospel of grace. Paul never mentions gospel of the kingdom, although he is the writer of most of the NT.
---michael_e on 2/2/10

I love this. John the Baptist who prepared the way for the Messiah opened his ministry in the wilderness saying "Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. At the beginning of Jesus ministry, after the arrest of John, He repeated the exact message: Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. Jesus message was to let people know that the Kingdom of God has arrived. He never separated gospel from kingdom because He did not come in His own accord. Gospel is good news and the good news is Jesus Christ gives everyone the opportunity to get back to the original state before the fall. Kingdom citizenship.Until the gospel of the Kingdom is preach to all people and tribes He will not return.

Steveng,is correct-not to worship Jesus but the father. And yes every knee shall bow but worship it is not just because one bows in respect and honor of God's son.
---earl on 1/28/10

Steveng said: Jesus never told us to worship him.

Steveng, have you read the scripture that says, "Every knee shall bow, every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord."

Jesus is God. He said, "If you've seen me, you've seen the Father."

Matthew 2:2 - Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.

Steveng, wrong: "For you will worship no other god: for Yhwh, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God: Who is this King of glory? Yhwh of hosts, he the King of glory. Exalt. Know you all that Yhwh he God. His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. And they went into the lodging, and found the infant with Mariam the mother of him, and kneeled down and worshipped him. Then says Jesus to him, Away with you, Satan: for it is written, You will worship the Lord your God, and him only will you serve. And here Jesus, he met them saying, Rejoice! thereupon they came forward embracing of him his feet, and worshipped him." Ex.34:14+ Ps.24:10+ 100:3+ Is.9:6+ Mt.2:11+ 4:10+ 28:9.

Eloy: "The gospel is: Worship and obey Jesus saves the sinuous life."

That's blasphemous. Jesus never told us to worship him. Jesus said in his own words to worship only God the Father. Jesus performed the miracles, but it was God the Father working thru Jesus.

1 Corinthians 15:1-4
1-Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand,

2-By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

3-For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures,

4-And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures

Galatians 1:6 I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different gospel. Acts 2:24 "But I do not consider my life of any account as dear to myself, in order that I may finish my course, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify solemnly of the gospel of the grace of God. The gospel of grace reveals the grace of Christ and God. The understanding of grace reveals the truth of the gospel and the Spirit of truth will guide you into all truth. We know we are saved by grace and the more we learn about New Covenant Grace helps us to draw closer to God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

There is One Gospel: gennhsh eulogos (gennese eulogos) which means, "Good Word Birthed" or "The Blessed Nativity". "Gospel" comes from an old word meaning, "Good Spiel", that is the good speech or glad tidings that Jesus the Salvation has come. The gospel is: Worship and obey Jesus saves the sinuous life. Please Read- Romans 10:13. The One Gospel is The Gospel of Jesus Christ: God became flesh, the man Christ Jesus, and dwelt among us in order to redeem sinuous man in the flesh. "Emmanuel" God with us. GOSPEL= Luke 2:11+ 19:10+ 24:47+ John 10:9+ 14:3+ Romans 10:9-13+ I Corinthians 1:18,22-24+ Revelation 3:20,21.

In 1 Corinthians 15:3-8, our Apostle Paul says the Gospel is "that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve. After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep. After that He was seen by James, then by all the apostles. Then last of all He was seen by me also, as by one born out of due time."

gospel is good news

the good news is the Kingdom of God (the government of God) and the promise given to Christ when he returns is to be the ruler in Jerusalem replacing the god of this world who is Satan

those who are called in this lifetime are called to obey Gods government in Satans world ...this is why True Christians are to live in the world and be apart from ITS customs and traditions and live by and obey every word from God

Jesus is Lord. Jesus died for you. God raised Jesus from the Dead. All who believe in their hearts and confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord will join their heavenly Father in heaven when we leave this life. That is what the Bible/Gospel is all about. The rest of our christian life is provided by the power of the Holy Spirit. "Not by my will, but by His"

Christians preach false gospels in the place of the true gospel, most do it ignorantly. The gospel was not about Jesus or his miracles, it was not about repentance, or salvation, or properity. "...though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed." Galatians 1:8

What was the gospel that Jesus and the apostles taught?

Matthew 6:33
Mark 1:14-15
Mark 10:15
Luke 4:43
Luke 8:10
Luke 9:2
Luke 9:60
Luke 12:31
Acts 1:3
Acts 19:8
Acts 20:25
Acts 28:23,31
1 Corinthians 4:20

Jesus and the apostles simply taught about the "Kingdom of God" and how to get there.

gospel,TRUTH,aka good news,is jesus offers salvation.
---tom2 on 1/26/10

The Gospel is this: Repent (confess and turn from sins), put your trust in Jesus as your Lord (boss), for the Kingdom of God is at hand. What this means is: We are sinners in need of a savior - Jesus died and shed His blood to cleanse us from all unrightousness, and save us from Hell - in response to this, we must repent (confess and turn from sins), and trust in Jesus as our Lord (boss) - if we choose not to do this, we will spend eternaty in Hell apart from God, because Jesus is the only way to God. Anything other than this message is NOT the Gospel.

The true gospel is that Jesus presented a new way of salvation.God soverignty, sonship and faith to endure.
It is not new . Abraham was asked in his day. Unfortunately people fall backwards into traditions and insist a atonement phiolosophy is in order.
