How many of you know the game called 'Chinese whispers' - the one where you wisper a sentence to one person, he/she whispers it to another, etc - in the end the sentence is completely changed. That is what you get taking information from unreliable sources.

Not a thing. One word about this. Satan is working way over-time in trying to discredit God. I dare, him!

Did you ever notice the experts and the government and the other movers and shakers are always justifying mass spending and raising taxes by talking about things that are nebulous and unverifiable and never seem to happen. To add to that, the predictions or explanation always turn out to fizzle without any explanation or apology or found out to be a total lie? cold war, star wars (asteroids not the movie), man in outer space, planet X, life on Mars, God talking to Incas about future events, 911, the list goes on...

IF it will not be visible until 2012, haw did the Discovery Channel see it?

I've done an extensive search of the web about Planet x ... and the most credible information is that Planet X does not exist

But the NWO people, & the Masons, who control everything would say that wouldn't they?
---alan8566_of_uk on 3/13/10

\\Yes, it was the History Channel.\\

And everything on the History Channel is always 100% accurate, isn't it?

I've noticed they are greatly in error when they speak of Church history or the Bible.

As I said elsewhere, popular entertainment, which includes TV shows, is not a good source for serious information.

I answered, "No," to your original question, but you don't seem to like the answer I gave you.

Jan, if there IS a Planet X about to collide with the earth in less than 2 years, and it's inescapable, what exactly do you want us to do about it? Or what can YOU do about it?

If that's how Jesus wants most of us to go meet Him, that's ok with me.

Yes, the astroid is another problem in addition to Planet X.

Planet X has a 26,000 year orbit around the sun and will not be visible again until 2012. Yes, it was the History Channel.
---Jan on 3/12/10

Jan, I never heard of Planet X. Where did you hear of such a planet? Was it on the History Channel? I thought planets revolve around the sun?

\\Am I the only person concerned about the effects of Planet X crashing toward earth in 2012?
---Jan on 3/12/10\\

There's no such thing as Planet X, therefore it cannot hit the earth. Planet X was Percival Lowell's designation for a hypothetical planet later identified as Pluto, and since demoted to a mere Kuyper belt object.

It's the ASTEROID (not planet) Apophis that's supposed to do a close fly-by in 2029.

Please get your sensationalistic stories straight.

Jan, you're wasting your time reading Nostradamus and apparently supermarket tabloids. Neither are sound sources of information. Emmanuel Velikovsky is not reliable, either.

I am not sure the Planet X really exists according to the NASA website. The information on the net seems to be a little confusing to us beginners in astronomy.
---Alan on 3/12/10

Thank you, 'atheist'.

As I said on a similar blog, an asteroid (in this case, Apophis) is NOT a planet. I don't know if it has apocalyptic significance, probably not.

Planet X, if it exists, would be outside the Kuyper Belt.
---Cluny on 3/10/10

Goggle: "astrophysics 2012 tyson".
---atheist on 3/10/10

Where have YOU heard this, Jan?

NASA has been tracking near space objects for a significant number of years as to which object could be hazardous to Earth.

I would not wast much concern about any alleged Planet X.
