Here's what the Bible says about work that pleases the father!

John 6:29,"Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent."
---mima on 4/28/10

What is the Father's will?
Jhn 3:16-18 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
---MIchael on 4/28/10

THE ONLY ONES THAT WILL MAKE IT TO HEAVEN, are only those who doeth the will of the Father. Everyone else Hell is awaiting. Satan loves you. Not really, he is out to destroy you. WELL, I WON'T HAVE YOUR BLOOD ON MY HANDS on judgment day, no.
---catherine on 4/28/10

I am sure of the Savior.
I am sure of the Plan of Salvation.
I am sure that I am being delivered.
I am sure that some wheat dies even after the Truth is planted.
I am sure that if He recognizes me at Judgment, I will be saved.
I am sure that if He does not recognize me, He will tell me to depart.

I am sure that I do not need to know about me in order to believe on Him.

---mima on 4/1/10 michael your answer cast doubt on the validity of John 6:37 which says,"All that the Father giveth me shall come to me, and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out."
You must have misread what I said
True salvation, being placed(baptized) into Christ has nothing to do with walking a church aisle or repeating a prayer someone tells you to say.
I don't see how that cast any doubt on John 6:37.
---michael_e on 4/1/10

Mima, I believe Michael e is correct. Just because a person thinks he is saved does not mean he is. Believing on the wrong gospel can do that. Some remember confessing and never heard the gospel truth. For faith comes from hearing the Word of God. Some are saved do not know they are because they have not made their salvation sure. A person can be sure if the Holy Spirit testifies to your spirit that you are a child of God. Second, you may know if you are saved, if you have a true love for Christ, for no one can have a true love for Christ if he is lost. And others believe they can lose their salvation, though I don't know why if God has already saved them.
The one's in John 6:37 are saved, but some might not have made their salvation sure.

To be saved eternally, one must be born from above. John 3:3,7 1 Peter 1:3,23.

From the testimonies I have heard, this is an experience that one can realize as we can see the change of direction in our lives. We have become a new creation (2 Cor. 5:17)and old things such as the sin we loved begins to pass away.

Many of us, even recall the very day that Christ entered into our lives.

While such an experience places us in Christ for which there is no condemnation (Romans 8:1), it is the start of our sanctification in which the Holy Spirit works in our lives to mold us into the image of Christ.
---Lee1538 on 4/1/10

---mima on 4/1/10 I believe a person can be saved and not sure of their salvation.

I agree with this, on the other hand I believe more people think they are saved and are really not, simply because they have followed some made up prayer, or walked an aisle as they are told to do. The devil is the great deceiver.
---michael_e on 4/1/10

YES! I know who my God is & his son is KING,my messiah. I accepted his word, believed who his son is & got baptized & know I am a child of God. He is in my life daily.he shows me where I am going & it is home to be with him eventually.
---candice on 4/1/10

The battle between man and the Spirit only comes when a person is born of the Spirit. The lost have no battle whatsoever. They do know they sin but feel no conviction until the Spirit convicts them of their rebellion against God. They are heading to hell already for they are under the curse of Adam. No one but God can stop them from going to hell. No amount of free will can make them change their minds. They need a new heart, eyes to see and ears to hear the gospel in Truth, and when they do, they believe it by saving faith that comes to them through the gift of the Spirit. Salvation is all of the Lord. No one can take credit for the glory always goes to God.
---MarkV. on 4/1/10

I believe a person can be saved and not sure of their salvation. But I do not believe people who are not sure of their salvation can be free of worry and concern. It is Satan's plan that you would practice" egg shell"(being very careful of what you do, and hold onto your doubts of your salvation) religion. Egg shell religion prevents those who are enjoying the grace and forgiveness of God from taking any bold action to increase the kingdom!!!!

"Israel rejected Christ simply because they didn't believe he was their prophesied Messiah." ---MarkV. on 3/29/10

Jews/ Judah rejected. All of former Israel did not. Divorced, separated from their former GOD/Husband. They expected and recieved him, or you would not have ever heard of him. The woman at the well, the Apostles etc. Divorced...there only "redeeming" (to purchase back something previously owned) was YAH-Shua. GOD who saves. The woman at the well knew immediately and in biblical fashion we to get the men who also were looking. Unlike some here.
Jeremiah 3:11
And the LORD said unto me, The backsliding Israel hath justified herself more than treacherous Judah.

MarkV. on 3/29/10

You asked how can man repent if they don't know?
God showed us our sin by the LAW. Man KNOWS they are sinful. They KNOW they are wrong. It's shown to them ALL THE TIME.
When does the Holy Spirit convict a sinner?
AFTER they hear that Christ died for their sins.
After they hear the preaching of God's word.
AFTER they are told the truth.
Then they REPENT!!!!!- Change their minds, and believe what was told to them.
Man has the choice to submit to the conviction of the Holy Spirit, Markv.
Man CAN resist if he wants to.
Thats the battle between the flesh and the spirit. The Holy Spirit doesnt indwell someone until AFTER they repent and believe. Then he comes in and starts to teach them God's ways.
---miche3754 on 3/30/10

Shawn if what you said is the truth, then why did you back down when he started questioning you about your views?
By the way I had posted another post but apparently it wasn't up to snuff with the mods.

Why do you stand for the false teaching of Markv?
Why do you correct everyone else but NOT him?

"Israel received His Word but got no faith. So they rejected the gospel."
---MarkV. on 3/28/10
Disagree. They received His Word but did not excercise their faith. If faith is what you portray, as given by God, Why did Peter fail and deny? Luke 22:32: "But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren." Then again, "he was to be blamed" when he was visiting Paul. So if God gives each man "a measure of faith", is it so incomplete that It needs strenghtening by excercising it? (Hebrews 5:14). Apparently. God told Noah to build and ark and how, but Noah built it (excercised his faith). See Isaiah 1:15_17, 2 peter 1:1_10, start building!

Brother, Christ Jesus is Truth, and every one that is of the Truth Hears & listens for His Voice !!

The only people being tossed too & fro HERE, are those still acting like children who are carried about by the wind of every man's doctrine, instead of listening for & attending to the Truth of God's Word being shared b/c they're more concerned with to whose doctrine it caters : like the Jews in John 18:38 that Pilate went out to again, after asking Jesus 'What is Truth'.

That is right Ruben
He said Unless you eat his flesh.

What does John chapter one say about Jesus?

That Jesus is the WORD BECAME FLESH.
So do you eat Christ's flesh literally?

No, you eat his words.

He says his blood was spilt for us. that is correct.
But what did he tell Peter and why did he rebuke Peter when he told Peter he had to die?
He did so he could send back the Holy Spirit to indwell believers making them adopted sons and daughters.
Like I said, You are carnal minded about this and it is okay if you need it to believe God is real. But I am a very mature Christian and I don't need it to know the truth.

the gift of eternal life is given to those who obey

religious christianity has fallen for their false ministers giving Wizard of Oz fable - click your heels three times saying Christ on your lips to be whisked away to a magical place called heaven immediately upon death ...which of course is not found anywhere in Gods Word but it's impossible to convince someone their beliefs are a fraud unsupported in Gods Holy Word

Paul stated if we fight the good fight ...walk the path Christ walked OBEYING The Father in Heaven ..although we will stumble and fall Gods Holy Spirit will guide us to overcome as Christ overcame this world of sin too

without obedience to Gods commandments your salvation is NOT secure

miche3754 Ruben, you are being carnal minded about it.He says that his words are the bread of life.
Christ IS the WORD that became Flesh.

When Jesus said (JHNv51) that this bread is my Flesh which I will give to the world, he meant it was his words on the cross and not his flesh. Who really has a carnal mind?

miche3754* He says here is my body broken for you, the bread represents his flesh which IS the Bread of Life- THE WORD!

He said "This is my Body" not represents.

miche3754* His blood spilt at the cross is his Spirit- The Holy Spirit!

"For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins."(mt 26:28) Nothing here about his Spirit.
---Ruben on 3/29/10

Jesus didnt tell people to become cannibals and he didnt say his flesh/blood turned literally into bread/wine.

---miche3754 on 3/27/10

He didn't back down either:

"Then Jesus said , Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you"v53

And then again:

"Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life, v54

"He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him."v56

"he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever. "v57

You love Him not because He saved you, you love Him because He first loved you.

Fallen man changes his mind all the time, but never for God, for it is written:

"For I have already charged that all men, both Jews and Greeks, are under the power of sin, as it is written, None is righteous, no, not one, no one understands, no one seeks for God. All have turned aside, together they have gone wrong, no one does good, not even one" Romans 3:9-12.
A fallen person can only repent if the Holy Spirit convicts him of sin. Otherwise he never repents and changes his mind. If he cannot see his sin, how can he repent?

Markv,
I never said fallen man can change his heart.
I said just as Jesus says.
Fallen man can change his MIND!!!
That is what REPENT MEANS.
Repent = change your mind!
Please stop putting words in my mouth and thinking you know what I am trying to say.

Jesus PLAINLY SAYS....." REPENT AND BELIEVE"

Do you deny the very words of Christ Markv?

When you what Christ tells you to do.. repent and believe... he comes in and gives you a new heart to go with that changed mind.
---miche3754 on 3/29/10

Miche, wants us to believe that fallen man can change his own heart, give himself ears to hear, and saving faith to believe and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, all by themselves. And it angers her that God has the right to save whom He will's to save, so instead she follow's the same doctrine of the RCC with Nana, that man can change himself with his free will, if he so wants. So she says,
"Israel rejected Christ simply because they didn't believe he was their prophesied Messiah."
of course Israel didn't believe, they didn't believe because God didn't provide faith with His message to them but will in the future as He has told us and they will come to salvation.
---MarkV. on 3/29/10

Markv, brother, you are complicating something that is very simple. SALVATION.
Israel rejected Christ simply because they didn't believe he was their prophesied Messiah.
They only had faith in what they could see!
So, GOD turned them over to their own reprobate minds. Doesn't he do that to people who refuse to believe what is already been proven?
God does not have to do anything else to prove he is God.
Nana is right.
You just are confused, brother.
And I am tired of Shawn catering to your falsehoods. That is what he is doing and I have sat and watched.
He backs you then he backs those who say opposite from you. He is being tossed too and fro. I prefer it when he just stands on God's word.

Nana, everyone is born with faith, but not saving faith. You said:
""How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?"
That passage is speaking about Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be save. And how can they call if they do not hear the gospel? Israel heard it and rejected it because it did not have faith. They were disobedient which literally means "Contradicted" the Word of God-this time it was the Truth of the gospel (Matt. 21:39-26).
Faith comes by the Grace of God through hearing His Word. Israel received His Word but got no faith. So they rejected the gospel.
---MarkV. on 3/28/10

No one is born with any "measure of faith", let alone any such thing as 'saving faith'. If it were so, we would not be instructed so:
"How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?",

and again

"So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."

What the new born as well as the 'lost' have is Saving Grace extended to them, by the love and hope excerted on them through the drawing of God, by the Spirit, The Word, the love of parents and friends, etc.
---Nana on 3/28/10

Shawn T, I am also glad you cleared that up, that everyone who is born has faith but that faith is not saving faith or as you put it, Justified faith. Because the lost don't have saving faith.
The "measure of faith" spoken of in the context of that passage Rom. 12:3 is not speaking about the faith people are born with, in the context it is about the spiritual gift of faith given to each one of the believers in the body of Christ, for each one of the members of that body did not have the same functions, since they are many.
Making the passage clear is important since many here believe everyone has that saving faith while lost but they don't. It has to come from the Holy Spirit as a gift. 1 Peter. 4:10.
---MarkV. on 3/27/10

Ruben,

The Bible does say this, you are being carnal minded about it.
Christ says that his WORDS are Spirit and LIFE.
He says that his words are the bread of life.
Christ IS the WORD that became Flesh.
He says here is my body broken for you, the bread represents his flesh which IS the Bread of Life- THE WORD!
His blood spilt at the cross is his Spirit- The Holy Spirit!
Jesus didnt tell people to become cannibals and he didnt say his flesh/blood turned literally into bread/wine.
His flesh = bread = THE WORD OF GOD.
His blood = wine = THE HOLY SPIRIT.
These we must "eat and drink" in remembrance of him so that we may have eternal life through him!
Eat the word of God. Drink the Holy Spirit. = Christ!

Donna66, I hope your question was answered. Shawn T cleared some things up. His is very polite and humble, I have always liked how he answers. I still have a few questions for him. When I read you answers I believe as you do. No one lost has saving faith. Faith is given by the Holy Spirit as a gift, not of works Eph. 2:8,9. And saving faith produces good works because it comes from God. We are saved by Grace. No other way. It is an act from God toward us. And through the instrument of saving faith the Spirit gives us, we not only believe but will suffer for Him Phil. 1:29. His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us to His own glory and excellence 2 Peter 1:3.

That faith which was once dead became alive & Justified when we became Righteous by the Drawing Spirit of God Word unto the 'Hearing & Doing' of His Good Works by Faith. This Justified Faith is through which we're Saved by His Grace .. or as you put it.

plead for the widow. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow, though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

In verse 66, those disciples rejected the gift of God, their new heart and new spirit. Even those closest to him were asked, "Will ye also go away?"

Shawn T, you solve one answer but did not make clear the others.
You are saying that everyone, every single person in life gets a measure of faith. "That is what it sounds like." But Romans 12:3 in the context is speaking to the brethren about the body of Christ. For Paul says, "to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith"
Here the brethren have been given the correct proportion of the spiritual gift or supernatural endowment and ability which the Holy Spirit gives each believer so that he may fulfill his role in the body of Christ. Can you clear that up if you meant every person on earth?
---MarkV. on 3/26/10

We are saved by faith alone in HIM, that is fact. If it were faith and your works it would be worthless. Pure faith by itself is the only way we can produce wonderful and great works in the sight of God.
The only works that God will accept is through faith. Anything NOT of faith is sin.
No good works have ever been produced without it first being through good faith. Works can never produce faith, only vanity and self righteousness

Your second post has nothing to do with anything I've shared ... and you're third post ~ God has to grant faith in order for a person to believe by faith --MarkV : I've already shared with Rom.12:3, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith .. but His Grace doesn't Save us through faith which is DEAD.

MarkV, Donna66 doesn't understand how Work+Faith=Salvation from James 2:20-26, and that's why she wrongly thinks faith=Salvation+Works : when faith without Works is DEAD.
---ShawnM.T. on 3/25/10

Shawn T. #2. You also mentioned that you are not excluding "Grace" but you give grace as a gift after ones faith. We are saved "by Grace" through faith, not on account of faith. Even the desposition of faith, the disposition to seek salvation, is itself a work of Grace and the gift of God. Paul says we are saved "through" faith, that is as the instrumental cause, but never once does he say that we are saved "on account of faith" that is, as the meritorious cause. And to the same effect we may say that the redeemed shall be rewarded in proportion to their good works, but not "on account of them." No one has saving faith brother.

Rom 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
Eph 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Mat 7:17-18 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit, but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither [can] a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him
Faith leads to salvation which leads to good works.

Shawn T, you said,
" b/c she doesn't understand how the once unrighteous can perform the Good Works pleasing to God without first being Saved" Then you change your statement and say, from unrigheous to already righteous,

"..... but it's by God's Drawing that the once unrighteous can perform Works pleasing to God"
Are you saying that an unrighteous person can perform good deeds pleasing to God while lost? Did I read that right?

"For the mind that is set on the flesh, is hostile to God, it does not submit to God's law, indeed it cannot, and those who are in the flesh cannot please God." Romans 8:7,8.
How can they please God while lost?
---MarkV. on 3/25/10

Shawn T #3, my last statement should have read, "No one lost has saving faith"
"For it has been granted to you that for the sake of Christ you should not only believe in Him but also suffer for His sake" Philippians 1:29.
God has to grant that faith in order for a person to believe by faith in Christ.
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not of your own doing, it is a gift of God not beause of works, lest any man should boast" If you do not agree, in which all the opposers stand by, can you please explain? I really don't believe Donna66 was wrong in any of her points, that is why I though you both were saying the same thing but now I can see you were not.

i just wanted to say.... wow! awesome teaching and edification by shawn, kath, and nana. i am so glad differences could set aside to lift up GOD. ya'll are awesome. and yes we are saved because we believe in Christ and his finished works. i am so thankful that God has given such wonerful teachers of his word. Well put Shawn.M.T. , "to every man"!

John 4:37_38: "And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth. I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours."
John 6:45: "It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me."
All good that any man do, saved or unsaved..., comes from God's lessons through his draw, delivered by the hand of prophets, fathers, the Son, (Heb 1:1,2), all of creation (Romans 1:19,20), etc.

-- MarkV :

Brother, We're not excluding "Grace", we're discussing the stated of our Faith by which the Salvation of God's Grace comes through, to Save us !!!

I'm sharing with Donna that while God has dealt to every man the measure of Faith, Faith is not Justified being alone and we're not Saved through unjustified faith !!!

Donna believes Grace through faith alone equals Salvation and the Good Works of God coming only afterward, b/c she doesn't understand how the once unrighteous can perform the Good Works pleasing to God without first being Saved ..... but it's by God's Drawing that the once unrighteous can perform Works pleasing to God, which Justifies their Faith through which they're Saved.
---Shawn.M.T. on 3/24/10

YES. I am not sure for whom this question is aimed to edify.
---larry on 3/24/10

kathr4453,

I agree with all you said.
---Nana on 3/24/10

Markv said here but fails to see it is he believes we are saved BY FAITH through Grace.
That Faith was the Gift given through Grace.

Well, those who are saved BY Grace through faith KNOW that OUR faith is what God wants....Just as he said in Romans 4 ABRAHAM'S FAITH was counted( IF ANYONE UNDERSTANDS SENTENCE STRUCTURE HERE) lIKE SAYING ABRAHAM'S COAT ETC...you get it!...no where does Romans say God gave Abraham any faith. If this were so, scripture would clearly say that we are saved by GOD'S FAITH working through us. But wait....Does God need faith? NOP! We do!

Faith comes by HEARING...the word of God...it's so somple even a child can understand...The faith of a CHILD...just like a child believing in santa clause.

Shawn T, I believe Donna66 is saying the same thing as you. We are saved by the grace of God, no Grace, no salvation. And that grace comes to us "through faith"
The Christians in Achaia had "believed" through Grace" Acts 18:27. A man is not saved because he believes in Christ, He believes in Christ because he is saved. Even the beginning of faith, the disposition to seek salvation, is itself a work of grace and the gift of God. Paul offen says, we are saved "through faith" (that is, as the instrumental cause), but never once does he say that we are saved "on account" of faith (that is, as the meritorious cause). It is the goodness of God that lead man to repentance.

Ray some things you can be sure of:
Before god we are all sinners! The lord came here to save sinners.
We cannot go before God and say we have no sin. This is a lie!
We cannot do the law! Please try to understand, God love you so much more than you can image!
He did not make the law for you to fail. He made it so you know how much he loves you.
Ray, he is not looking, at you! He is looking at your heart, to see the love in it!
Try to understand, this great love, he is!
God Bless you, be at peace.

---ray yours is a common problem. Being unsure is because of one simple fact failure to believe the word of God. You stated that you had recommitted your life to Christ over and over but wondered if he would forgive you for committing the same sins. The answer is found in John 6:37,
"All that the Father giveth me shall come to me, and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out." Read this verse and be encouraged.
---mima on 3/20/10

I am unsure of my Salvation. Many times over the years I have Recommitted my life to Christ and yet I still turn to commit the same exact sins over and over. Will God forgive of these sins, because I feel as though my Salvation has been lost and I am Alone in this Darkness. Please someone help me.

Would you wait ... before believing they can be Saved -- Donna66

Sister, I've already shared "we're not Saved by these Good Works", as explained in Titus 3:5 .. and to Rightly Divide Rom.3:10, know that Paul is explaining "all being under sin".

Read John 6:44-45 to Understand how the once unrighteous perform Works Pleasing to God. It through God Drawing us by Faith that produces Justified Good Works. As Abraham by leaving the land of his family, offering Isaac, and all he Believed of God by Faith was counted unto him for Righteousness.

Donna, You believe Faith=Salvation, but Faith is not Justified being alone, and unjustified faith won't Save you !!
---Shawn.M.T. on 3/19/10

I'm not sure of my salvation. There is lot I don't understand. could some one help me?
---leona on 3/20/10

I think I understand, but I don't agree with your interpretation

Tts 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost,

Rom 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

If one is unrighteous, how can he perform works pleasing to God? Would you wait for the criminal, the drunk and others bound by sin, to display good works before believing thay can be saved. The works that Christ pre-ordained, are for the Christian!

James was ALREADY a Christian when he said I will shew thee my faith by my works. A person can claim "faith" and have good works, but know nothing of Jesus!

-- Donna66 :

I still don't get Faith+Works=Salvation. -- Donna66

Sister, Your formula of, FAITH=SALVATION+WORKS, is not Rightly Dividing God's Word !!!

The Good Works God has before ordained we should walk-in(are the Works by which we're Justified), and is manifested by the Faith through which we're Saved unto Eternal Salvation : Hence Faith plus Works equals Salvation.

Ye see then how by Works a man is Justified, and not by faith only. James 2:24

Faith alone,
that doesn't produce the Good Works ordained by God, is considered "Dead Faith" and not the Justified Faith by which we're Saved : So, Faith only doesn't equal Salvation. Hope this helps you understand Donna !!

On the last blog with this title, I got a response from ShawnMT that I didn't understand. I'm hoping Shawn will explain a little more. I still don't get Faith+Works=
Salvation.

FAITH=SALVATION+WORKS. The works that matter come AFTER we're Saved. -- Donna 3/15/10

Sister, We were sharing "Faith+Works=Salvation" in the Truth that the Good Works God has before ordained we should walk-in, is manifest by Faith BEFORE being Saved unto Salvation, b/c Faith which doesn't manifest these Works is "Dead" .. but still, we're not Saved by these Good Works...
---Donna66 on 3/18/10

Yes, I am sure.
---ger.toshav on 3/18/10

Because, I believe God!
I believe God sent his son here to save the world!
So then, if God sent his Son here to save the world, how can he failed? Who can resist God?
In spite, of everything I hear and see and know! I truthfully believe this.
I feel this in my soul! Some say this cant be. I say why, cant it!
I lay it to heart!

Mal 2:2 If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.
