"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which kill the prophets, and stone them which are sent to you, Search you all the scriptures, because in them think eternal life you all have: but they are they which testify about me. Note, I have graven you upon the palms of the hands, your walls continually in front of me." Mt.23:37+ Jn.5:39+ Is.49:16.

ROMANS 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinner,so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

the basic theme is a fallen man, meaning the human race, and Gods love and plan for eternal salvation for his creation, its also about his love, and righteousness, his son,and spirit, his commands.

The sinfulness of man, the mercy of God, the sacrifice of Christ, resulting in mercy in the NT, the final separation of sheep and goats (NT mostly)

The sacrifice of Christ appears in the OT as well, but the final separation by belief is mostly NT

themes,Gods plan for man,how dependent we are upon him,how lost we are without him,how though unknown to us we need him,the majority is about either the Jews, and his son.

ALL THROUGH THE BIBLE>>>>God's judgment. 2/3 of the Bible is negative. Yes. If you think that it is God's love for the wicked man, think again. It is God's love for His people.....You know, Jesus, these are great gifts that you have given to me. But along with them comes trials and tribulations.

The basic theme is God made man -> Man sinned-> God searches for man to bring him back in fellowship-> Man comes back to God for a while -> man turnes away from god-> God searches for man-> man comes back-> man walks away-> God searches for man >>>>>

Redemption-God is a God of always giving people a second and third chance.

Moses murdered yet God used him to deliver His people.

Job said something in error and God redeemed him and restored him double from all that he lost.

Forgiveness is another theme in the bible. God forgave David for committing adultery and morder, Abraham for lying, Noah for getting drunk, Mary Magdeline for being a harlot and Thomas for doubting Jesus.

God leads mankind to wisdom. Man leads mankind to folly.

To Whosoever Has An Ear To Hear?

Brethren, Throughout God's Word the basic theme is this : "Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, IT ABIDETH ALONE : but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit."

He that loveth his life in this world shall lose it, and he that hateth his life & die to it, shall keep Life Eternal : serving the Lord by following the Lord, and where the Lord is, there shall also His servant be: Honored by God.

For about the same reason as there were 613 laws for a good Jew to obey if he wasted to find favor with God.

Laws result in stratification and stratification leads to themes.

All aspects of human activity, some good some bad it is natural we learn to do it as kids, choosing up sides to play stick ball who gets picked first who gets picked last.

Humans are good at it we evaluate, separate thing into groups. It is important to be in the "Right Group" -- social acceptance being in the "Wrong group" -- social ridicule

Here's one--of many:

God's dealing with mankind, and mankind's reaction: sometimes good, sometimes bad.
