Mark V you are welcome. Death is never easy to deal with but when the person is so young it seems even worse. It is somewhat easier, but not much, when we know something good has come about because of it.
---Darlene_1 on 7/6/10|
Darline, thank you and others who prayed for my brother, his daughter who lost her son and the rest of the family. While there on Friday's services, I could feel the prayers from everyone. It was a very sad thing to see such a young man dead. No one knows if he hung himself or if someone did this to him. At the service I heard two testimonies from cousins, who acknowledged Christ before everyone for the first time, and how they were searching because of the life and death of Jimmy. In the mist of his death, others are now acknowleding Christ, and reading their Bible's, something they never did before. Through this horrible ordeal, God has turned it for good to so many. Thank you,Trish, John and many others very much for your prayers.

Update on the family. Their daughter did pass, but on her learners permit(she just got her drivers learners permit) she signed up to have her organs donated. There have been recipients already who's lives have been saved through her gift. This has given her family comfort.
---kathr4453 on 7/2/10|
MarkV, I will definetly pray for you and your family's recovery from this sad situation.
G-d Bless you!
---John on 7/2/10|
Mark V, I most certainly will be keeping your family and you lifted in prayer. I'm so sorry to hear that happened, how sad. May God go with you and give you strength. May he wrap the family in his precious love and comfort. God Bless.
Trish I will be praying for you and them,it will be mighty lonesome for you,I would think.I'm sure they will miss you. May God always keep them in his protective love. God Bless
---Darlene_1 on 7/2/10|
MarkV: How horrible! That is just such a heartbreak. I will pray for your family. God bless your trip there.
---Trish9863 on 7/2/10|
Sister Darline, again I come to you and others for prayer, for my older brother Bobby and family who just found out his grandson hanged himself and was found on Wed. He was a young man of 32 years old. His name was Jim. He knew the Lord some time back when he was 20 or 21. But things had not been going good for him. His mom is devastated. I'm heading there today. Thanks to anyone that will pray for the family during this time of need. Thanks Darline.

Least until the Brits came back in 1812, ...200 years later The Brits attacked again!
Queen, please tell BP (and the rest of the underworld) to let us go.
I am looking forward to the true Independence Day when the world has caught up to the freedom in Jesus.
---aka.joseph on 7/1/10|
John: I love your thinking. Thanks for the chuckle.
Today I say good-bye to my grandchildren till August. I am going to miss them terribly, but trust the Lord will bless them with safe travel home to Michigan.

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!
Paul Revere took his midnight ride calling "THE BRITISH ARE COMING! THE BRITISH ARE COMING!" Fact be said, we were a Vietnam between two superpowers, but still we prevailed and became independent. Least until the Brits came back in 1812, but The Queen release us anyway. 200 years later The Brits attacked again! This time using a superweapon The Beatles and the 2nd British Invasion was a complete victory. Taking the hearts of our teenage girls. America surrendered!
But Paul Revere???
WELL... he joined the Red Coats and "Paul Revere and The Raiders" along with the rest of America once again fell in love with our Motherland
G-d Bless America!!! G-d Bless The Queen!!!

Trish that is wonderful. I'm so glad you got to be blessed with those children and bless them in return. First steps, how special. My Grandson was at my College graduation he was about 4 months old,our first grandchild. I graduated with a BA in Psychology and fully intended to move 60 miles away to get my Doctors Degree in Psychology at Baylor University. After I got to be with my Grandson while they visited from Idaho I decided it was more important for me to be a Grandmother than it was to get another Degree. Then our Daughter also presented us with a Granddaughter, wonderful. I was so blessed when the children both started to school,I got to pick them up and keep them until their Mom got off work.
---Darlene_1 on 6/29/10|
Darline, I've been thinking and praying for you and those who have asked for prayer. Trish, I have also been babysitting with my wife two grand kids and they are a hand full since they are 2 and 3. And want to do so many things we get tired, but we do that three times a week. Keep two days and the weekend for ourselves. It has been a joy. Visit my other grandkids and one great grandson every third week. I'm praying for you too Trish and Kathr.
---MarkV. on 6/29/10|
I have been blessed with babysitting my grandchildren for my daughter for two days. What a joy, especially since my grandson started walking on Sunday. It is so neat to see him take those baby steps and smile. God is so good.

The wicked man is back in the hospital. He had a stroke and heart attack. A lot of problems. I have stuck it out by God's power. I don't know where I will soon be going. Only God knows. I do fear that he will die without Jesus. I do not like the thought. Only Jesus chooses and saves.
---catherine on 6/28/10|
Trish I am praying for you, take care of yourself. Kathr4453 I will be praying for all of them.
---Darlene1 on 6/24/10|
Asking prayer from all of you for a family who's daughter was seriously injured in a boating accident on Fathers Day.
Not to give any gruesome details, tests are being done today to decide whether to pull the plug. NO brain activity. They are asking God to intervene, as Christians they do not want to make the decision to turn off life support.
Not only for this but for them as well.

Darlene, praise the Lord. That is good news.
I would appreciate prayer. My daughter and the kids are coming back to town today, and I pulled a leg muscle and am in agony. I have to tidy, and get my apartment cleaned up. Instead I am resting with my leg elevated and ice on it.
---Trish9863 on 6/24/10|
Praise the Lord my daughter doesn't have cancer. Thank all of you who prayed for her. Catherine I am happy for you that you can celebrate 10 years of being saved. Thats wonderful. Isn't God so good. There isn't enough words on earth to tell the Lord God how much I love him and how grateful I am also that I've been his child so long in my life and can call on him and know I am part of the family of God. God Bless

My score in 'Name That Blogger'?
When you press on the 'blogs' tab, the question title and the first few lines show. Since we all generally say the same thing with the same style, I try to identify the name of the blogger that may match the first few lines of the next answer under the title.
I am getting pretty good.

Trish,I have been praying for your sister,I hope all is going well. Please pray for my daughter she had a biopsy of the uterus lining and there was no cancer but it did indicate there could be an endometrial polyp. They will be doing an Ultra Sound on her ovary Monday, please pray no cancer anywhere.
---Darlene_1 on 6/18/10|
Please pray for my sister. She had lap band surgery today, and has some risks with prior blood clots. Both of my brothers died of blood clots.
The praise in all this is that she is not usually a praying person, but after she got to her room, she asked us to pray a prayer of Thanksgiving for her surgery.
---Trish9863 on 6/16/10|
Thank you,all who prayed, for the prayers for my Grandson. He slept several hours and praise the Lord when he got up the headache was gone. He is fine now.
---Darlene_1 on 6/16/10|
Please pray for my Grandson this morning he has a migraine and had to take medicine and go back to bed. Also please pray for my daughter she has a medical problem which sometimes indicates cancer but not always. It can also be symptom of a noncancerous condition, please agree,in prayer with me that it isn't cancer, remembering the Bible verse when two agree on Earth, its done in Heaven Mathew 18:19 Jesus said,- if two agree about anthing you ask on earth,it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. Matthew 18:20 For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.

Trish,I'm glad to hear your treatment for low iron has started,I hope you feel much better with this first one. How wonderful to get to be with your"Gbabies" they are so precious. Take care.
---Darlene_1 on 6/10/10|
I got my first iron IV infusion today. I was told that I would have flu like symptoms tonight, and they were right. I have to have four more infusions before they will check iron levels again. They will be weekly.
In the meantime, I am enjoying my grandchildren immensely. I am also struggling with my mother's insistence on telling me what I should be telling my daughter, to correct my daughter on things Mom disagrees with. My daughter and her husband are strict, and Mom disagrees with their parenting style. I trust my children to make the correct choices for their lives, now that they are adults and do not live under my roof any longer. They answer to the Lord for their choices, and I pray constantly for them.

There were 3 sets of brothers among the 12 disciples.
1) Peter and Andrew
2) John and James
3) Can you name the third set?
No Cheating! (of course Christians shouldn't be doing that anyway)
---John on 6/10/10|
Trish I'm praying for you, hope you are feeling better. I know how serious not being able to get the B 12 normally. In my mothers family there is Pernicious Anemia. Her daddy had it and nearly died before they found what was wrong back in the 1930's or 40's. Mom was blessed she didn't have it,nor do I, but several others in the family have had problems with anemia but to less a degree than my grandad. He had to give himelf shots several times a week, but then in his later years of life,Praise the Lord,God healed him and he no longer had to have the shots and wasn't even anemic. God Bless
---Darlene_1 on 6/8/10|
AKA: Yes, I do both the sublingual B12, and get the shots. I need both. I am just wiped because of the iron deficiency this week. I keep praying and trying to just take it one hour at a time.
---Trish9863 on 6/7/10|
Trish, Have you ever tried Sub-lingual B12?

I have been told that I am anemic in two ways. One is B12 deficiency. The other is iron deficiency. It has to do with malabsorption. I get B12 shots, but now I need IV iron infusions. This has my physically wiped out, and my grandchildren are in town. I hate that I have no energy.

//They come to Him when things really get bad. // - MarkV
I used to have a saying scoffing at "Christians", "It's only when men are desperate that they seek God." Well, he made me see this is true, but necessary. However, every time he would build me up, I would abandon my need for Him.
He fixed me this last time or should I say I destroyed myself again. But, this time, I asked Him to build me slowly, so I do not turn away again. He has been very faithful to that!
Perhaps, this why God turned Paul away three times. God knows that Paul, if there was not a constant reminder of his need for Jesus that he would abandon the Gospel. To Paul and all of us in the flesh, grace is not sufficient.
---aka.joseph on 6/6/10|
tom2, exactly, "as a man thinkth in his heart so is he. That's why I remind myself to "control my thoughts." There is very little we can actually control in life, but thoughts are the one thing we can control by the grace and Spirit of God.

Not too bad. Mine favorite bloggers are Job,David,Ezekiel
He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.
But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge.
He mocketh at fear, and is not affrighted, neither turneth he back from the sword.
But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned, if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.

Today, I had the privilege of babysitting my awesome 10 month old grandson. What an angel he is. The main challenge is that he is huge. He is almost in 18 month clothes. He was huge at birth, so he is just growing normally. His sister, my Isabel, is very tall, towers over most 3 year olds, and she won't be 3 for two more weeks. They come from a tall gene pool on both parents' sides.
I cherish each moment with either of them, because they live 12 hours away. I just need prayer for my daughter, as she and I have a strained relationship for problems I had with my mental health when she was a child.
---Trish9863 on 6/3/10|
Tom 2, I find that the more we talk about God the less we talk about the world. People spend hours watching movies, Tv, about football, talking about others, loving the things of the world that they spend little time with God. I'm talking Christains who should have a passion for Christ and wanting to know all there is to know about Him. They come to Him when things really get bad. I'm guilty, I used to do that too. I asked myself how serious I was about Christ, and it turns out not very. Every opportunity I now have I try to use it for the glory of God. Keep up the good fight. If you ever need prayer just call it out. Many are here to pray for you and others. I'm actually welcoming you back, Blessings
---MarkV. on 6/3/10|
I thank all who have been so kind and for caring. The world can be a depressing place, and separating it from your walk can be a task at times so many interpretations, such varied revelation, for me getting back to my first love is all that matters in these times when the apostate levels overwhelm me.
---tom2 on 6/3/10|
MarkV your welcome,it is my blessing to pray for others. I thank you for always praying,I know I can always count on you to pray. I hope and pray Lee comes out ok. God Bless To all who have prayed for my Sister-in-law thanks so much
---Darlene_1 on 6/3/10|
Tom 2, please don't get discouraged. Every person walks in the light they have and many times their walk with God doesn't agree with what some others believe, feel or even know. We all grow in God as God walks with us and we pray for answers from him he enlightens us,then we grow in grace, knowledge and wisdom. My prayer for many years,God teach me your truth, only your truth. Another good prayer would be God give me everything you have for me. Don't forget some of the things we may consider wrong are based not only on the Bible but the guidelines of denominations and they aren't always right. God Bless
---Darlene_1 on 6/3/10|
tom2, "apostrate" issues? I think you mean "apostate", one who is off standard or fallen from the standard.
---Eloy on 6/3/10|
tom2, whatever you decide just make sure it is the Spirit of the Lord and not in a spirit of anger or discouragement. I was at the same point a few weeks ago, but then I realized that this site is not for us to convince, but it ours to recognize heresy more quickly and to learn more of the Word for when we really need it.
A sword not drawn cannot be sharpened. God bless.
---aka.joseph on 6/3/10|
Darline, my post to you did not come out. I wanted to say thank you for your prayers for Lee and his wife and for many others, and also to say that I am glad to hear your sister in law is out of the hospital.
Lee is going to have a very important test on Wed, today and it is very important that things come out ok for him because he does take care of his wife. You are a great prayer warrior. Thank you also be being patient with me. blessings
---MarkV. on 6/3/10|
Tom 2, do not be discourage because of the conduct of others. You have to understand that God's truth has been challenged from the very beginning. And many that you answer will get angry with you and call you names, and say stuff you would not expect from a true believer. Of course many are not saved and speak from a worlds perspective and others are just plain hateful. Don't go away because of the others, go away only if you feel God wants to move you to do other things. Let God be your guide.
---MarkV. on 6/2/10|
