Linda, let me correct you again, it is Christ who sustain you,
"..So that you are not lacking in any spiritual gift, as you wait for the revealing of our Lord Jesus Christ, "who will sustain you to the end," guitless in the day of the Lord Jesus Christ, God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord" ( 1 Cor. 1:7-9).
Pretty simple passage, it is Christ who sustains us, and if you read it properly, sustains all those who were called into the fellowship of His Son, He did not say, if you want to or if you allow Him to, or if you give Him permission.

Miche, you said,
"You must understand that none can be made alive without first submitting to God"
How does a person summit to God while dead? All lost are spiritually dead. They have no spiritual discernment. None whatsoever.
"For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure" (Phil. 2:13).
God works by giving us life, and to do the things He called us to do, by His good pleasure.
I will proclaim the Truth of the Word of God.

Trish ... MarkV is right about Trav ... Trav has on another blog, or more, appeared to condone what the Nazis did to the Jews.

But Mark ... the fact that Trish agrees with Trav on the issues on this blog does not mean that she agrees with his obnoxious Nazi-supporting view.
---alan8566_of_uk on 7/11/10

Miche, you did not read what he said, but you support his views, blind faith. Here is the reason you support his views, because he is against what I say. And since you are also, you get together to show there is a force against me. Well let me tell you, there is, and it is not godly. Do you think I do not realize that every time I disagree with someone, they will many times get mad? Some who are defending the Truth for the right purpose never get mad and get drawn to sin. You even tried to draw in Shawn T. But you were unsuccessful, you know why? Because he is speaking for the Truth, with the Truth. You don't like that, you want him to speak also against me. The same people have formed a group, and its the same people with the wrong purpose.
---Mark_V. on 7/11/10

MarkV,
I have never seen where Trav agrees with murder.
And something BIG you realy missed....

GOD reached out to all of man kind when he sent his son - JESUS - to die for the sins of the world.
Not the elect, not any chosen before the creation, ALL of the WORLD!
In fact NONE of us were chosen before God created us. It was CHRIST who was chosen!
You constantly misquote and misuse scripture.
You do not know how to reconcile one scripture with another. You are a walking contridiction.
For me, I will believe all of God's word and not cherry pick or misuse scripture.
I KNOW God stretched his hand to me and all I had to do was say YES.

There are six things which the Lord hates: [1] Haughty eyes, [2] A lying tongue,[3] Hands that shed innocent blood, [4] A heart that devises wicked plans, [5] Feet that run rapidly to evil, [6] A false witness who utters lies, and one who spreads strife among brothers [Proverbs 6:16-19]. And if you don't get forgiveness you will go to hell. My Father said so!
---catherine on 7/11/10

Fleur, Cosmos (the world )Jn.3.16 does not mean "Humanity"
The word "loved" is past tense meaning He so loved His original purpose in creating the universe and earth and man in perfect "harmony" that to "right the wrong" necessitated the sacrificing of His Son!

The world (cosmos) is actually a system of things IE God created a whole system Gen1.and blessed it.
The present "system" is controlled/ruled by satan therefore 1Jn.2.15 "do not be loving the world" (cosmos) as it is now.
God WILL reinstate His original Cosmos ,His word does not return to Him "void"
---1st_cliff on 7/10/10

Miche, now you support what Trav believes, and here is what he believes that burning of Jews in the ovens by Hitler was a godly cause. The prophets don't support him.
You always talk alot of religious talk with no Scripture to support you. None whatsoever," only the words of someone who rejects that God reached out and saved you."
You sure could not reach out to God while you were dead to God and dead in traspassess and sins. And you sure could not resist the grace of God while dead. In fact you loved what you were doing when you were spiritually dead. Another spirit was moving you then. You loved it so much you were doing the desires of your father the devil, and were by nature a child of wrath.
Eph. 2:1-10.
---Mark_V. on 7/10/10

// Once you are in Grace, you have the ability to disobey God or obey God. It is not grace he is rejecting, but obedience to God.//

Since it is grace that teaches you to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, it IS grace you are rejecting as a believer. Obedience to the faith is enabled by grace and obedience to God after obedience to the faith is enabled by grace. Grace saves and grace keeps. If the believer has a choice to disobey when enabled by grace, the unbeliever has a choice to disobey when enabled by grace. Otherwise the benefits of the household are greater for the outsider than for the family.
---Linda on 7/10/10

MarkV,

Trav didn't say we were his witnesses. He said the Prophets in the Bible are. And he is so true.
For a man who claims to be saved for as long as you have, you have very little understanding of the true Gospel.
The Gospel according to the Bible is that Christ died for ALL sin.
Grace is freely given by God and all we do is say yes to God who has already made provision.
You must understand that none can be made alive without first submitting to God.
There is no such thing as irresistable grace. People are guilty because They choose NOT to believe not because they can't.
The Bible says every man is without excuse because the truth of Christ has been revealed to all.
---miche3754 on 7/10/10

There can be no evading the fact that certain men are "before of Old" marked out by God "unto condemnation."

"And all that dwell on the earth shall worship him (the antichrist) every one whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the Book of Life of the Lamb that hath been slain" (Rev. 13:8).

Rev. 17:8 tells us the same things about those whose names have not been written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world.
Only the elect will escape the Antichrist's deception (Matt. 24:24).

Mark ... It shows the weakness of your arguments in this discussion that you have to descend to directing such insults as "and those others who follow the same course in life" at those who disagree with your interpretation of God's Word

It also shows the weakness of your understanding, if you thought I was trying to be a winess to God's Word

I was merely pointing out the contradictory nature of your theology that says firstly that the the lost are in disobedience, and then that God decides who is to be saved (and therefore who is to be unsaved)

How can those who behave as God decides be disobedient?

I've asked this many times berfore but you won't answer

To my understanding.
All souls belong to God Ez 18:4
Although there is a division of them-
His Word became flesh-for the lost.Heb 8:8

Praise God there are those who are the Whosoever believers.

He loves because He is love.
He Forgives because He is love.
We forgive because we've been forgiven.
If we find it difficult to love-and forgive-We do it through Him-in us.

Trav, I wrote down the Word of God for you also, the Word of God is my witness, not Alan, Kathr, Miche, and those others who follow the same course in life. Here is God's Word again, and yes, it is my theology, Eph. 2:1-3:
"And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others"
That is what Christians use to be before God saved us by making us alive to Christ.

Hi Beth. God loves everyone,..(john 3:16), For God loved the world,( humanity ) so much that He gave His only Son, so that anyone that believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. God loves man,..whom was created in His image but God detests sin.... and the wages of sin is death, (eternal ).Seek His son , the saviour Jesus and live a life of righteousness and be saved or refuse his son and find etenity !!!,...in hell.
---fleur on 7/10/10

MarkV's theology is self contradictory. He says , "Lost, you are in traspasses and sin, following the course of this world, according to the prince and power of the air, the spirit, (not the Holy Spirit) who works now on the sons of disobedience"
---alan8566_of_uk on 7/8/10

A theology of "false doctrine. His will stand no test of prophet stated context.
If a prophet testifies what is to come and this doctrine contradicts/opposes it is clear the truth does not reside here.
Proverbs 27:22

Linda, you want to call the lost, dogs, then you were once one.
To your question:
"Again, you have not answered my question. Why would God, our Father, be kinder to an unbeliever in "making him accept grace" than to one of His own by allowing him or her to resist or frustrate His grace"
All who are lost are saved by Grace through faith. God is not more kinder to the lost then the save, when the lost receive grace, they join the group who also received grace. Once you are in Grace, you have the ability to disobey God or obey God. It is not grace he is rejecting, but obedience to God. The lost, know only to be disobedient because they do the desires of their father the devil, they are children of wrath.
---Mark_V. on 7/9/10

MarkV, you still have not answered my question, and you probably won't by the looks of it. You say I was a dog, that I was unsaved even. But how could that be if I was saved while I was unsaved because I was made to be saved according to predestination. In that case, I never really was a dog. I was a cat and you didn't know it. Nevertheless, the children's bread still belongs to the children first. You are talking your doctrine. I am testifying of His character and your doctrine can't bear witness. That is why you have no answer to my question, just an endless loop of trying to prove that God strips man of choice.

Linda, have you so quickly forgotten you were one of those dogs you talked about? Did He not place His love on you when He took you out of the path of destruction? You didn't squirm and clawed your way out, while you were dead in traspasses and sins, He made you alive to Christ. And because of His grace, you are now quaranteed eternal life. Yes you, Linda, a dog once, now you are sustain by Christ and given all spiritual gifts necessary for your life, so that in the Day of Our Lord Jesus Christ you will be without guilt, (1 Cor. 1:7-9).
---Mark_V. on 7/9/10

Again, you have not answered my question. Why would God, our Father, be kinder to an unbeliever in "making him accept grace" than to one of His own by allowing him or her to resist or frustrate His grace? You make Him sound like He loves those outside His household more than the ones of His very own household. If God expects us to take care of the family unit first, He wouldn't do any differently. Since the same grace that saved us is the same grace that keeps us, it would be His highest priority to keep us from shaming His very name by "controlling" our ability to resist that same grace. That is why your theology doesn't make any sense whatsoever. It takes what belongs to the children and gives it to the little dogs.
---Linda on 7/8/10

Linda 2: Not slack is, not late (Gal. 4:4, Titus 1:6, Heb. 6:18, 10:23, 37, Rev. 19:11). Longsuffering toward "us" the beloved, the saved, and the people of God. He waits for them to be saved. God has an immense capacity for patience before He breaks forth in Judgment (v.15: Joel 2:13, Luke 15:20, Rom. 9:22, 1 Peter3:15). God endures endless blasphemies against His name, along with rebellion, murders, and the ongoing breaking of the law, waiting patiently while He is calling and redeeming His own. It is not impotence or slackness that delays final judgment, it is patience not willing that any should parish, the "any" refers to those whom the Lord has chosen and will call to complete the redeemed.
---Mark_V. on 7/8/10

Linda, you said,
"MarkV, if what you say is true, there would be no need for God to be longsuffering since He makes us believe. Longsuffering is the character of God that puts up with us when we reject the message."

In the Second Epistle of Peter 3:9, Peter is writing to "the beloved" v. 8, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years like a day. 'The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, (the children of promise are the saved and those who will later come to Christ) as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward "us" not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance?

Moderator - How come you have not posted my responses on this blog? I gave them twice and none of them got posted. Is it because you do not believe in what I have to say? Is it because you want to censor certain responses? What gives?
---Leslie on 7/8/10

MarkV, if what you say is true, there would be no need for God to be longsuffering since He makes us believe. Longsuffering is the character of God that puts up with us when we reject the message.

AGAIN, it makes no sense whatsoever that God would make an unbeliever unable to resist His grace and yet allow one of His own the ability to resist and frustrate it. That literally is the equivalent of the stranger having better benefits than those of one's own household. It just simply is not that way.
---Linda on 7/8/10

Linda, Scripture: When God calls you, you cannot resist that calling:
"Concerning the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but concerning the Election, they are beloved for the sake of the fathers. "For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable." For as you were once disobedient to God, yet now obtained mercy through their disobedience, even so these also have now been disobedient, that through the mercy shown to you they also may obtain mercy. For God has committed them all to disobedience, that He might have mercy on all." Romans 11:28-32.
God's sovereign election is unconditional and unchangeable, because the calling of God is irrevocable. No one can resist His calling.
---Mark_V. on 7/8/10

Yes, He does love everybody who does not love Him. So, He wants me, also, to love the ones who cross me and play me for a fool.
---Bill_bila5659 on 7/8/10

Linda, here is what you now say,
"MarkV, thou protesteth too much. I heard the gospel. Faith came, as it always does when the gospel is preached."
You are correct, that faith came to you, as it comes to many, but it does not come to everyone, for many hear the gospel Truth and reject it. They didn't get faith. And God is the distributer of faith.
"For it has been granted to you that for the sake of Christ you should not only believe in Him but also suffer for His sake"
You see Linda, "For by Grace you have been saved through faith, and this not your own doing' it is the gift of God-not because of works, lest any man should boast"
No boasting is allowed Linda.
---Mark_V. on 7/8/10

MarkV's theology is self contradictory. He says , "Lost, you are in traspasses and sin, following the course of this world, according to the prince and power of the air, the spirit, (not the Holy Spirit) who works now on the sons of disobedience"

And yet his Calvinism says that God decided that they would not be saved, therefore it follows that God must have decided that they would follow the course of this world, & be disobedient

How can they be disobedient, if they are behaving as God has decided they will behave?
---alan8566_of_uk on 7/8/10

MarkV, thou protesteth too much. I heard the gospel. Faith came, as it always does when the gospel is preached. I utilized that faith by choice. Again, it makes no sense whatsoever that a BELIEVER can resist the grace of God but an unbeliever (who you say is a believer because God made him believe) cannot resist. I really wish you would listen to yourself. You say an unbeliever becomes a believer because God made him become one....but a believer can resist the grace of God while an unbeliever cannot (which makes him a believer). If this is true, there are no unbelievers, only people whom God has yet to make believe.

Eloy, the question concerned the character of God and you keep focusing on man's worthiness or reaction. Please brother, read the question again.

BTW, Romans 11:29 is not a comment on mankind and is true for even the worst of us, exhibit one might be King Saul.

Imbued by the Lord, turned to sin and died in ruin.

This is a search for truth not an argument to be won. Settle down.
---larry on 7/7/10

Linda, when you answer keep an eye on what you say, here you say,
" The Holy Ghost convicts of its truth but the choice to receive still belongs to the hearer."
Notice how hard you are fighting for your rights and not God's.
The only way you can know the Truth is if the Holy Spirit reveals it to you. But while lost you have no Holy Spirit. How can you know the Truth without the Holy Spirit? How can you feel remorse for sinning against God without the Holy Spirit convicting you of sin? Lost, you are in traspasses and sin, following the course of this world, according to the prince and power of the air, the spirit, (not the Holy Spirit) who works now on the sons of disobedience,
---Mark_V. on 7/7/10

//...how could you choose Him? //

Ummmm....just like I chose to answer you. I read it, believed you wrote it to me (heard it), and answered it. The only difference between your question and the message of the gospel is the righteousness of God from faith to faith is revealed in the gospel. The Holy Ghost convicts of its truth but the choice to receive still belongs to the hearer. God forces no man. Of course, the Calvinistic theology you believe is a real comfort for those who are already Christians. It sucks for those who aren't. Instead of telling us to preach the gospel to every creature, why doesn't God just redeem the time and lead us to those already chosen by Him. The theology has a hole it it...as gaping as hell itself.
---Linda on 7/7/10

//...everyone who is lost resist the Holy Spirit//

And I was as lost as a goose in a snowstorm until I believed that God raised Jesus from the dead AFTER hearing the message of Christ, which is from whence faith comes. I now had a place to rest faith...in Jesus Christ. However, it was a bunch of BELIEVERS who were frustrating the grace of God, despising the Spirit, grieving the Spirit, and quenching the Spirit. There is also lying to the Spirit of God (Ananias and Sapphira). Since the Spirit of God is the administrator of the grace of God, to frustrate, despise, grieve, or quench the Spirit is to do the same things to the grace He brings. Again, your argument is with Scripture, not me.

Linda, you should go back and read what you wrote. It was a testimony on what God has done to someone who did not want to have anything to do with God. If not for God you would have continued in your own lost condition, concerning your first post.
Now you turn around and tell everyone that it was your choice. If you did not want anything to do with Him, how could you choose Him? A contradiction of terms. You give the glory to God, in one sentence, and on another you take the glory. I didn't know you were going to suddenly change your mind just because it is me. Then again you can believe what you want. I was only commenting on what you wrote. You wrote it, not me.
---Mark_V. on 7/7/10

MarkV, my testimony bore witness with you when you first read it even though my conviction about predestination was the same when I posted it as it is now. It wasn't until I responded to you and made my conviction clear that you determined my testimony a lie and me a liar. I never changed. You did. So who is lying? Obviously you determine the validity of my testimony by your preconceived notions, even after having received the witness of the testimony to begin with as evidenced by your first response. The Word of God has a name for that~double-minded and unstable in all his ways, always allowing the winds of doctrine to rock the boat.

Linda 2: everyone who is lost resist the Holy Spirit. There is no spiritual discernment in them. They are all spiritually dead to the things of God. They cannot speak of God, hear God, for they are dead.
They need a new heart, they need an awakening by the Holy Spirit. Eyes to see and ears to hear, and a heart to perceive. Without those things they will forever stay dead.
But God who is rich in mercy makes them alive when they were dead in their traspasses and sins. They are dead. All who are lost are dead. They do not have one breath in them to reach out to God. They need the grace of God. And that grace they cannot deny while dead. Did Lazurus say, I don't want your life Lord, I want to stay dead while dead?
---Mark_V. on 7/7/10

Linda, in case you've forgotten, when you said you could heal 100% by just praying for them and God moved to your prayers because someone God moves to the beat of your drum, I said that you were suggesting you were controlling Almighty God? A sinful creature like you controlling God. That is what you suggested.
Now you suggest that if Almighty God decides to save you, gives you the ability to see Him, hear Him, and gives you a new heart, you can say no to God. Most of you complain that God did not make creatures robots, but you suggest it is ok for Him to be your robot, moved by your actions, because somehow you have power of Him. That tells me that your dependence is not on Him but on yourself. You created a god you can handle as you want.
---Mark_V. on 7/7/10

MarkV, God is my witness. I don't need your witness to verify me or my testimony. If you were listening to God instead of your preconceived notions, you would hear the witness and wouldn't be so quick to call me a liar. All you do is prove yourself a liar in the presence of God by calling me one.

To do any of the things above regarding the Holy Ghost is to resist the Spirit of grace. If we could not resist grace, we would not be told we could. The Scripture bears witness against you. You can continue to argue if you want, but it takes two and I'm out. Argue with the Scripture.

Linda, if you are the same Linda from 7/2/10 then your testimony was a complete lie. In your testimony you said He drew you to Himself. That He ministered to your heart all in a time when you didn't want to have anything to do with Him. Which is why I said it was awesome, and should have known it was all false. Since now you change your testimony. All of that was just religious talk, to give Him the glory first as to how great He was when you were lost, and then turn around and take the glory away from Him. You knew the Truth when you spoke on 7/2/10, yet, turned around and reject it, to give yourself some glory. You made the choice, not Him. You should repent of your first testimony because it was not true at all.
---Mark_V. on 7/6/10

Eloy, I never said no one will perish. You are pushing a rope.

The plan of redemption was for all though the Lord knew not all would repent and receive.

Don't confuse his love with the foreknowledge of man's choice.

The gifts of God are given without repentance.
---larry on 7/6/10

Mark, we were all appointed to wrath. God fully poured out His wrath on Jesus in His death. Judgment was fulfilled in those three days and three nights. Those who receive Christ enter into that fulfillment. Those who have not are condemned already and the wrath of God (placed on Jesus) abides upon them. Whosoever will call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Whosoever is whosoever. Acts says, "All who call". Those who call are predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son. God reconciled every man in the death of Christ. Salvation comes by His life. I do not believe in predestination the way you are teaching it. It is not His will that ANY should perish, but that ALL should come to repentance.

According to the scripture and public reality, God loves AND hates. Do not be deluded, God does not love every body, only those who agree to follow him does he love, but all who choose to dis him he has wrath and he hates with perfect hatred. And he did not just make a heaven for everybody, but he made a very real everlasting firey hell for those who he hates. "The face of Yhwh against them that do evil." Please read Galatians 6:7+ Psalms 11:5+ 34:16, Hosea 9:15+ John 2:15+ Mark 11:15-17+ Malachi 1:2,3+ Romans 9:13+ John 3:3,5,19-21,36+ Revelation 14:9-11.

God IS Love. So yes, God loves people who don't love Him or anything to do with Him.

The only one that God may not love is satan. Do you think God still loves satan/Lucifer? They are at odds with one another because of satan's pride when he told God that he would be greater than God, higher than God, etc., and God kicked him out of heaven - GOOD GOING GOD!!!!!

I would think that because they are at odds with one another (the Kingdom of Darkness versus the Kingdom of Light) that God has NO feelings whatsoever for the devil, what do you think?

As for people- YES God loves ALL PEOPLE-GOD IS LOVE!!!
---Donna5535 on 7/6/10

Linda, your whole answer was awesome. That He even loved you is what is amaging. Yet He doesn't do that to all people. We can say that He choses whom He wants to place His love on. God sure loves the world He created, He created the wicked, but not their wickness. Writing to the saints at Thessalonica the apostle declared, "For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ" (1 Thess. 5:9). Now surely it is patent to any impartial mind that this statement is quite pointless if God has not "appointed" any to wrath. To say that God hath not appointed us (believers) to wrath, implies that there are some who He has "appointed" to wrath.

larry, God not desiring any one to perish does not mean that no one perishes, on the contrary it only means that God desires that all flesh should repent and obey him onto righteousness so that they will not perish: but the fact is, the wicked whom refuse Christ, are in every way refusing God's salvation and God's love and God's grace for themself, and are in every way choosing God's wrath and God's hatred and God's condemnation for themself. Jesus has not made the firey hell in vain.
---Eloy on 7/5/10

I'd like to see some scripture that God says or even implies that 'I will always hate the wicked' as Eloy quotes and Larry supports that it is in there. It would be interesting to study this in context seeing that, though I know little in comparison, I have yet seen this in the versions I have studied.
This is what I see:
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
1 John 4:19 We love him, because he first loved us.
Jeremiah 31:3 The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, [saying], Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.
I believe He hates the actions which come from the heart and will punish such.

Eloy quotes scripture "I will always hate the wicked" and there is no debating the written word, however in context 2 Peter 3:9 is also true that God is "not willing that any should perish".
If he doesn't love anyone then everyone is not eligible for salvation and the call for holiness and command for worship falls empty.
Romans 1 says said no one is excused which means ALL are candidates for redemption of which love is a necessary component.

There is no other explanation for God's patience between Genesis 6 and now, or "the season of the Gentiles" other than his love for his own creation.

The fact is that grace will run out does not mean God does not love all.
---larry on 7/4/10

Beth, God loves AND hates. Many unrepentant sinners abuse the atonement and are deluded into thinking Christ's sacrifice gives them license to sin, and he will always love them while living in sin. But that is false doctrine, God gives no one permission to sin, and when any one chooses sin over Christ they choose God's wrath and condemnation for them self and not his love and grace. "For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins. But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which will devour the adversaries. For we know him that has said, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord." Hebrews 10:26,27,30.
---Eloy on 7/4/10

Yes, God loves his creation, but he hates the sin. It is not his will that any should perish, but, that all should come to him in repentance. He is patient, and kind, and very long suffering, that is why people no longer have any fear of God, because they believe that he is all love. That is incorrect, because he is also a God of judgement, and the bible says it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of an angry God. So, he does have his limitations, and he is the only one who knows when our time is up. He will do everything within his power to draw us to him, but if we continue to resist, we will die outside of his will, and there will be no more hope for us.

Karen/ Tom2, You need to read Jn.3.16 the way it's written
For God so loved (past tense) the world (cosmos)

What "world" and why past tense?
I know why , do you?

What parent among us does not love his children - even the errant ones? God is not less loving than us. He hates SIN but loves the SINNER.
---jerry6593 on 7/4/10

Cluny, As Christ was dying, the "unrepentant" sinner remained in their sin: and the sinners go down to their grave still with their blasphemies upon their lips and their sin in their hearts, forever separated from the Lord. And therefore Christ, whom the unrepentant sinners killed, has prepared a lake of blazing fire and brimstone for each one. And I strongly suggest that you repent from your sin and ask Christ Jesus Almighty whom has zero acceptance for the wicked to forgive you and to save you from his wrath.

Only through His might powerful Blood, cuny. As God said to me one day, and I quote Him. "I loved you enough to save you". You must look at other Scriptures my friend: Remember, I chose you you did not choose Me, and unless you are born again you will never see the Kingdom of God", Jesus said it. And Jesus meant it. "Sinners will not be allowed to enter the Kingdom of God because ultimately they would only wreck it"....My son, I am so very much enjoying his visit. He's gone to the hospital to visit his dad, but, he will be back. He is forty. Looks thirty. A very nice man. God has primised me that He will save him, because of me. Praise the living God, always.

God loves everyone?

What is the Truth?
Jesus tells us the Truth in John 14:21 that God loves those who keep his Commandments.
What are the Commandments of Jesus Christ?

The Commandments of our Lord are Commandments designed for one to show love for their neighbor.
Everything that Jesus taught is centered on Loving our Neighbor, the fulfillment of the Law.

Look at the Commandments Jesus gave to the Man in Matthew 19:18-19.
Everything the Lord says in that story is about loving your neighbor.
The Rich man was not willing to give up his riches, to feed and cloth the hungry.
This showed the man that he did not love his neighbor, and he walked away.
Love your neighbor and God will Love you.

The NEW Christainity = Hippies / Love Peace Brother
---John on 7/2/10

Appears you are believer your Bible John. A rarity and a man to boot.

Scripture busts the hippie judeo christiano bubble.
Christ taught in parables.
Christ stated who he came for several times.
Mark 4:11
And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:
Matthew 15:24
But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Now he can/will be a light to those who link arms in mission....

Just as human parents love their children but many times "hate" what they do, so does God love all of us as children he created, but disapproves of actions that he defines as sin. There is an old saying, "Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater!" It sorta fits here.

\\That is where God's love begins and that is where it ends, for the wicked man, my friends\\

Just another example of where the Bible disagrees with catherine.

Here's what the Bible says, "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8.
---Cluny on 7/3/10

Thus says the Lord God: "I command all flesh to repent and to do my will, and then will I bless you with length of days, and all my goodness I will shed abroad upon you, if you will hear my words and keep my commandments. Do not be deceived, for I love the righteous and I hate the wicked, I always have and I always will, says the Lord. Now repent and do the first works, else your sin will find you out, and I will recompense all your evil upon your own head. Now if you truly want to be in my love and want to be with me, then repent and do my will: but if you remain in your sins then you will remain in my wrath and in my hatred."

"Break thou the arms of the wicked and the evil man", is a prayer that the wicked one may lose His strength and ceased his tyranny through the POWER of ALMIGHTY GOD.....We don't go around doing this stuff because we don't have the stomach for it, however, God does. [Psalm 10:15]. God allows the sun to come down on your head, and the rain, and He allows you to live one more minute in His created world. That is where God's love begins and that is where it ends, for the wicked man, my friends....If I were being strung up my ankles, skin being ripped off of me, please don't be praying "Father forgive these wicked people" NO. Just don't say anything. Pain is pain.
---catherine on 7/3/10

We pray ever how God leads us. Sometimes we may feel defeated, God's people, and we may offer up a strong prayer to our heavenly Father. Absolutely nothing wrong with this....Prov. 11:8>>>Tells us that the righteous will be delivered from trouble, that the wicked man causes, and will themselves fall into destruction. Hallelujah....Isa. 48:22>>>"There is no peace for the wicked." say the Lord. Go to Isa. 57:21 "There is no peace", says my God, "For the wicked". Have a great weekend, As unto the "Lord" or your days will count for nothing. Good day....Hallelujah. My God is Great. He is fair He is just.

Very Fundi-MENTAL, Jesus was a good Yank who went to the Cavary and fought for Ole Glory. (Fundimental terms used instead of Golgatha and Heaven. That are synonomous with America.)

Anyway let's ask Esau if G-d loved him?
How about Cain?
Nimrod?
Agag
Ahab

Reply is

Well G-d today is not THAT G-d. He loves us all and will Rapture us before the Tribulation. Even thouigh he never EVER did it to anyone in Scripture.
