To God Only Through Christ

John 14:6 tells us no one goes to God except through Christ.
Matthew 7:13-23 tells us wide is the way to destruction, narrow is the way to life, and too watch out for FALSE PROPHETS". What are your thoughts regarding these passages?

Tell it to the man living forgotten in the woods who's never heard of Jesus...indeed should he come it'll be through Christ though the spirit he knows and follows carries none of our Christian tags. Paul revealed that he will learn it through the benevolent design of creation. (Romans 1:20)

That is not what Paul was teaching in Romans Ch.1. He was teaching that no man has an excuse for not believing in God. Even IF a person dies without ever having heard the name of Jesus, He will be held accoutable for his sinfulness, because he had the testimony of nature that ther is indeed a true God. His "judgment won't be as harsh as it would be if he had heard of Jesus and rejected Him as many do/have.

Because Joel Olstein is an antichrist!

Substituting the word Mistakes for the word sin. He, like all Pri trib Satanic Dens attract the Psuedo Carnal Bougoise "Me Too" so called Christian. The ones who say the 1 minute "prayer ticket" sinners prayer and go have potlucks. It makes for mega churches. Many will say Lord, but few will actually be Chosen.

Why is it that while Joel Olsteen was being interviewed on live prime time television by Larry King, Joel Olsteen denied and rejected several times that Christ is the only way to God?

Yet Joel Olsteen has the largest congregation that follows him and his teaching in America.

God has sworn by His Word-Is 45,23
I have sworn by Myself, the Word is GONE OUT OF MY MOUTH [in] righteousness , and shall not return , That unto ME every knee shall bow , every tongue shall swear.

His Word became flesh-Jn 1:1

The only way to Him is to believe His Word-Jesus Christ.
Jn14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I AM the way , the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by ME.

Rob, Paul Washer does an excellent teaching on the narrow gate and the narrow path that leads to life. You may want to look it up on You Tube, that's where his teachings are posted for FREE.

Narrow is the way of life means we don't live according to the kingdom of darkness which is satan's kingdom, we live according to the Kingdom of Light, which is Jesus's Kingdom...forgiveness, no immorality be named amoung us, abstain from every form of lust, turn the other cheek, give and it shall be given unto you, etc.

False Prophets - if you are filling yourself up with the truth of God's word, then you will recognize a false prophet as soon as he starts speaking, or shortly thereafter.

Rob, John 14:6 in the context, the subject talked about is Jesus leaving the disciples. He wanted to comfort them, not to worry or be troubled because He was going to leave. Thomas question was answered by Jesus that the way to where He was going to be at, was only through Him. Since He was going to be on the right hand of God. By putting their faith in Him along, they would be with Him.
Matthew 7:13-23 on the other hand is speaking of the gate to Heaven and the gate to hell. Narrow was the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life. And there are few who find it. He also says, that there will be many who will complain why they are not entering the narrow gate, Christ will declare, I never knew you.

Jesus is right.

God has given us His very best, who is Jesus His own Son, and God will not accept giving us whatever is less, "second-best", etc.

If you chose the woman whom you want to bring up your children, and if you discovered later that you made the very good choice, would you accept your children wanting a mother who is less than her?

God is not going to accept people being brought along by religious methods of people, instead of people being brought to Him the way Jesus corrects us and prepares us for His Father ! ! !

It's the one that comes by different names and spirits you must be aware of. These are invariably false gods, and in some cases false Christs. The Spirit of Christ is revealed through his works in the scriptures, learn that Jesus and his spirit and no false one can ever come between you.

Jesus is the only way to his father. If your current pastor or elders are teaching this and stay with biblical teachings then this is good. If they are teaching opposite like for example "there are many paths to heaven" type messages this is false and we should be aware of them & avoid them.

John 14:6,"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me" Jesus said.
He has also said John 10:6 I am the door.
It seems very clear that we can only be saved through and by the Lord Jesus Christ.
He is one door among many doors but he is the narrow way to life. The fact that there is only one way, one door would seem to be the definition of narrow.
Many people like the Pentecostal church believe the narrow way has to do with your behavior. If behavior is the standard for acceptance then every human being has a different standard because every human being has different behavior. No there is one standard that standard is the Lord Jesus Christ and his righteousness.

Remember that Jesus Christ is God made flesh.

Jesus is the divine representation of God his Father. It can be literally stated that If you have seen Jesus then you have seen God.It can be literally stated that the words Jesus spoken and taught are the unedited words and teachings that God himself would have shared if he were not to have delegated or be represented by Jesus or another divine represenative .
A little over 2000 yrs. ago man and woman experienced the unthinkable,at least many who did not believe never thought it was reality that Divinity, for the first time ever on earth lived in (the Father is in me) the person who we call Jesus. If we want to know what God is like and go to him then we must discourse and act on the life of Jesus of Nazareth.

Here is a perfect opportunity, and please bear in mind, that God suggested this, I am a prophet and not a gospel preacher. I shall get to answering these questions later.
