\\are there two different cluny's?\\

Nope. Just one.
---Cluny on 11/15/10

are there two different cluny's?

you pointed out that if all settlers were christians, the revolutionary war opposes Romans 13. i pointed out that there are no nt inscriptions in the federal buildings made by our forefathers, the president says what he did. good fruit cannot come from an evil tree...there is no debate amongst you and i regarding that.

the sentence that you quoted from me had a conjunction "and you do not recognize the deeper results." my point was that we get caught with surface politics while those in the background are creating exactly what they want.

\\it's ironic that you say yourself that America is not based on Christianity as our President is now saying and you do not recognize the deeper results. \\

Since there are no quotes from the New Testament or classical Creeds in our founding documents, where is the EVIDENCE that America is based on Christianity?

Most people may be some kind of Christian, but the country itself is NOT a Christian country, nor is it based on the Christian religion, according to the Treaty of Tripoli, which has the force of law in the US.

oops

on the surface, my prediction is that obama will get unprecedented cooperation from obama the new "republicans" and/or the republican again will be blamed for something and we will take an even further slide to the left.
---aka on 11/11/10

cluny,

to take over this nation is not a battle of republicans and democrats. that is just a smokescreen to who really rules this socialist oligarchy.

Eph 6:12

it's ironic that you say yourself that America is not based on Christianity as our President is now saying and you do not recognize the deeper results.

on the surface, my prediction is that obama will get unprecedented cooperation from obama and/or the republican again will be blamed for something and we will take an even further slide to the left.

But, we just see what's in front of our face. you assumed that I meant that the CFR will make the dems win. i did not say that. thanks for proving my point.

\\don't worry...the CFR will make it happen.

Did the CFR make it happen, aka?

No matter who WINS the elections, there will still be problems facing the USA and the rest of the world. Dealing with these problems is going to HURT a bit.

I believe that GOD is letting nations "fall to pieces" as things become "bad" enough. Things will eventually become so... "bad" that all the nations, hopefully, will have no choice, but to look up to HIM.

Like with AIDS, Nuclear Weapons, and other problems, the world will probably "try" to solve things on their own.

This time around, the problems just might be so "bad" that only GOD can solve them.

Anybody who can slow down the Obama-Pelosi run-away charge toward Socialism will help.

Obama wants the kind of government that European countries have had for years. But look at Europe now. Extreme, but necessary, budget cuts in England. Widespread riots in France (over raising the retirement age from 60 to 62, no less!). Greece, bankrupt and surviving on charitable loans of other countries.

European leaders (even China) have admonished Obama for his spend-thrift ways.
He has ignored them. But a more balanced Congress can actually provide a set of brakes.

Nothing could happen in a week for them to hold on to the 50 plus House seats they are likely to lose in next Tuesday's well-deserved slaughter, though Dems are likely to retain the Senate.
Ironically its probably the best thing to happen to Obama and will actually boost his chances for 2012.
A Republican led Congress will also fail to fix the economy, as all Congress can do is spend money and pass new laws, and neither will help. Even tax cuts are made with borrowed money - a disaster.
Cuts similar to what the Brits have announced will fix the budget but send unemployment to the mid-teens.
This week we found 97% of the mortgages written by Countryside were attached to fraudulent investments.
God help us.

Does it matter?

if the fate of nations is in the hands of God, then whoever is in the seat of secular power will not alter His plans.

---Cluny on 10/26/10

Right On!

It is clear that both the Democrats, AND the Republicans, have issues that are "displeasing" to GOD. There isn't enough room to list all of those things in 125 words. Yet, GOD knows about it all.

I'm so glad that GOD is "in control". There isn't any human being alive -- NOT even ME -- who could resolve all the problems facing the USA, and the rest of the world.

Only GOD can do what only GOD can do!

If the people of God will pray and seek his face, He will heal our land. That is so simple. If God's people would vote christians in, our country wouldn't be in such a mess. You can believe what you please, but muslims are imbedding themselves in our country for a reason. They even recruit our own citizens. No I haven't heard this on Fox either. Just watch all the news and there is no other conclusion.
---shira3877 on 10/26/10

PRAY...lol. Why do we need to discuss politics on a religious site? (just curious).

I don't agree that they do, in fact there's not a single incumbent on either side that I am willing to trust.

What I'm most confused about is why people still don't see through the game that both sides are tied into.
