"talk-the-talk AND WALK-THE-WALK"

Yhwh loves the righteous. Psalm 146:8.

Jesus is Immanuel: God with us.
---Eloy on 12/2/10

This discriminating against God must stop...in this world. African Americans grow-up. I am not trying to pick on you. However, You've been standing up for your rights for centuries. When is God gonna start standing up for His rights, is the question for the month of December....it seems that the media balks at the mention of God. God is saying this morning, "they are going to wish they had". Heeded.

"Who stands this, who even forgives sins?" Luke 7:49.

Love don't hate, praise don't criticise, look for the good in people not the bad, keep a song in your heart and a smile on your face.

Grace not shared is grace despaired.

Let go and let Jesus.
---Eloy on 11/28/10

How strange it is, that I, knowing where I came from, that I know some things, which all unbelievers and perhaps some believers do not know.
---catherine on 11/27/10

The secular world's idea of success is to have a life full of money. A Christian's idea of success is to have a life full of God. That is the true riches of life.
---Darlene_1 on 11/27/10

Hope only dies when we forget to remember what God has already done for us.
---Darlene_1 on 11/27/10

Foolishness makes its home with those who hide from wisdom.

Get right, or be left.
---Eloy on 11/25/10

The saddest condition a man can be in is to sit under the most likely ordinance with a dead, stupid, untouched heart.
---catherine on 11/25/10

Lol Josef! I was too lazy to go back and copy/paste your exact wording!
---Light on 11/25/10

Light, I like the way you stated this so much better than my own, "one may be considered wise if he has insight into another, but he is enlightened if he knows himself." Sounds less like something from a fortune cookie:oD)))

I find, several things that the powerful has in common: [1] they love to brag [2] they love to be seen [3] they love to beat others over the head [4] they love to brag. Notice, I said brag twice. ---catherine on 11/24/10

Hmmmmm. Sound like anyone you know personally? As one blogger said: one may be considered wise if he has insight into another, but he is enlightened if he knows himself. Our own perspective is so often twisted that we behold in others our own image. We don't see things the way they really are. We see things the way we are. It is better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.

One with insight into others may be considered wise, but one who knows themselves is enlightened. For only the Father knows the heart of man.

"The more ignorant men are the more proud they are". I would think that the atheists would be the number ONE on that list of ignorance....Knowledge does not always make one proud, or perhaps, it's just that man don't know as much as they think they know. Without God you can't know much. The longer that I live, the more I am sure, no, I am absolutely sure, that man is just one ignorant creature, without the "living God". You want proof? Well, goodness sakes look around you, and keep onnnn a looking. Put your confidence in man, if you want to....My friend+

God, let your light so shine that I may always have light.

John Chapter 17 tells us "Jesus knew the HOUR had come."

Do you live for the Lord hour by hour or day by day? I find it easier to live for Him hour by hour...why?

Because you never know what HOUR he's going to come and what hour you will receive your healing like the woman with the hemorrage of blood...her HOUR had come and she touched the hem of his garment and got healed after 12 years of bleeding.

Live your life by the Hour and live it only for HIM and to please Him and Him alone.

I don't see why the wicked, wicked, people must have their way about EVERTHING....Why can't us ordinary people have a say in something? Why does Satan rule most people? Ahhh Jesus. Well, it makes my blood boil. I am not like most Christians. "Well, we just leave it up to God"! God didn't choose us to be lazy---Come on Jesus+ COME ON JESUS.
---catherine on 11/22/10

When you wake up, whom will you serve that day? God or the flesh? Having GOd on your mind the first thing & throughout the day helps you keep on track with following him.Reading his word daily (no set time) will help you walk in his path.

"The way for anyone to escape hell, is to always be mindful of one's own condition without>>>The Lord Jesus Christ and His Blood"....This goes for you that are saved, or think that you are saved. The lost are ignorant in all things [spiritual].

The thought for the day is that you may not have another day to think.
Think about that....

I woke up to this one this morning. Thank You Jesus...."We are so busy trying to get rid of the devils in other countries. We need to first, get rid of all the devils in this country and then we can close the boarders to all of them".
---catherine on 11/21/10

Happiness never lies in what one has, always in what one does with what one has. It consist not in what one thinks oneself to be, but rather who one knows oneself to be, In Christ. Never the less, as one is open to think oneself to be, so one becomes.

Catherine: "Read your Bible, pray everyday if you want to grow..."

- Spend 15 minutes daily letting God talk to you as you read His Bible.

- Spend 15 minutes daily talking to God in prayer based upon what God has told you from His word (the Bible).

- Spend 15 minutes daily, as God gives the opportunity, talking to someone else about God & His word (the Bible).

I don't see why they don't leave the time along! What would be the harm? It seems as if man has taken over everything, and has left God out of everything. What's going on, anyhow. Are we, God's creative beings, smarter than the Creator? I want to know. Why, oh Way, What has happen. Will someone help me to understand.
