Andy: The question of who the anti-Christ will be is a long running one, each group have their own idea.... the only thing we know is that it will be a leader against God

We used to think of the USSR, now that is gone but there are still others who fight Christianity and christians, so we don't know yet. Will see

You ust be an American to believe this,
who was the antichrist
in the second world-war? Hitler, during the cold war? o yes the USSR, then it was the European Union, but since the europeans are too nice :-) and the golf-war and afganistan and Irak it has become the muslim world. beware for all these fantasies are useless, and itcould be that the anti-christ lives closer to your door as expected. but in reality, nobody knows.

WHO NO SCRIPTURES TO PROOVE THIS?

God chose Abraham as example to let the world know how HE is & how HE relates. The fact that Abraham is Middle-Eastern (origin Syria) is not the important thing, take hold of what God has taught you through HIS relationship with Abraham & descendants. Gen.12:3 God chose Abraham to bless the whole world thro' him. This was fulfilled thro' the Lord Jesus Christ.

MICHA 9344 kind of work this up fast tonight but check it out ( beast is satan)

REVELATION 20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the devil and bound him for a thousand years,

20,3 And cast him into the BOTTOMLESS PIT,and shut him up --------- and after that he must be LOOSE a LITTLE SEASON.

REVELATION 17:8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not, and shall ASCEND OUT of the BOTTOMLESS PIT, and go into PERDITION, ( this links us back to 2 THESSALONIANS 2,3

2 John 1:7 and alot of these verses we been going though link to this verse 2 CORINTHIANS 11,14 And no marvel, for satan HIMSELF is transform into a angel of light.11:15 Therefore it is no great thing ministers ------

Thank you Richard, I believe Satan to be antichrist, but the man of sin referenced in 1The 2:3 I believe to be the beast.
Also John refers to many antichrists and tells who is.
1John 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
2John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
Just as satan was the first, along with a fallen host, there are many humans that fit this label as well.

MICHA 8344 Satan is not a man?

1 JOHN 2:18 Little children, it is the last time, and as ye heard that the antchrist will come, ( In this verse it does not say the anichrist is a man or comes as a man. And I don't know of any verse that says that. In this verse there a single antichrist,

Now saying all of that satan is refered to as a son,

PSALM 89:22 The enemy shall not exact upon him, nor the son of wickedness affict him.

2 THESSALONIANS 2,3 ---- Son of Perdition,

The battle of Armageddon is a spiritual war.
---RICHARD on 12/5/10

MICHA 8344 Right after I posted that I realize I made a mistake

2 THESSAlONIANS 2:3 --- Man Of sin be Revealed ----
But Still satan is called a son ----

ISAIAH 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven,o lucifer son of the morning! --------
---RICHARD on 12/5/10

Satan is not a man, Richard...

leslie -- No one questions that the Bible was written from a Middle Eastern perspective and that Jesus, being Jewish, was of Middle Eastern descent.

However, no one knows for sure where the Anti-Christ will come from or what will be his heritage. You have mentioned the two most popular theories. We will have to wait and see. (I'd bet on the Muslim, myself)
---Donna66 on 12/5/10

Leslie...Yes, I knew the Bible was not "made in America"....LOL

Leslie, keep learning and growing. Good for you that you are thinking about these things, many people do not.

THE BIBLE is from Gods Perspective not Mans

DEUTERONOMY 18:18 I will raise them up a prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my word in his mouth, and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command

2 TIMOTHY 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of GOD,----------

The antichrist is satan - 2 THESSALONIANS 2:3

Christ is from the blood line of Abraham it's recorded in the BIBLE.
---RICHARD on 12/5/10

As far as the first and third being right but the second not - I get my info. for the second on the website of Joel Richardson. All this time we have believed that the anti-Christ is from Europe and a Catholic Pope, however, reading the Bible from a Middle Eastern perspective, we can see that this is WRONG - since the anti-Christ is a counterfeit of Christ. Christ was Middle Eastern Jewish, so therefore the counterfeit of that would be Middle Eastern Muslim - since Jew and Muslim came from Abraham. One being the promise and the other being of flesh.
---Leslie on 12/5/10

I dont believe the antichrist will be of middle eastern decent, but I do believe it will be their "Mahdi".

I still think he's gonna be an "advanced being" that will gain control of our world with the promise of bringing us into a new age of understanding.

Since they claim Jesus will come along side of their messiah as his prophet (false prophet) its likely many of the christian faith will fall for it hook line and sinker.

Yes, Leslie. What else is new?

Or are you just now discovering this?

I agree with micha. Concerning the first, that's why it is important to understand the lands, customs, and cultures of the time, so one can more accurately understand what was written.
---Rod4Him on 12/5/10

The first and third should be easily deduced, but the second may be up for debate.
