When I was saved was a miracle. Had chest X-ray for upper respitory infection and found cancer of the thyroid....MIRACLE. That was 6 years ago and I am cancer free. My brother had a piece of steak lodged in his esphagus, Dr got it out found tumor in stomach....MIRACLE. My sister was in outpatient for minor procedure and went into cardiac arrest...she got a new heart valve...MIRACLE. Some people call these coincidences but they certainly are not. They are miracles. I thank God for an upper respitory infection, a lodged piece of steak and a hospital. My children are miracles too.

I have always trusted Gods power. Thirty years ago I submitted to a Myelogram. Dye was inserted into my spinal column to locate blockages. I was allergic to the dye. I died on the table. The emergency team responded and failed to resuscitate me. They left my body and went to console the doctor on his loss. Meanwhile I floated in a bright comfortable light unaware of anything including time. Suddenly I was back in the operating room. I could not see or feel anything: only hear. Farther away I heard the team consoling the doctor. Then a voice close by spoke, Hey! I think I have pulse here.! Thank you Lord! No thanks to the hospital staff.

I want to describe miracles I have seen. Twice this happened with the same man and three times with different man for a total of five times the following happened.
While discussing, salvation, witnessing and other things of God suddenly the person(these are adult men and one woman) suddenly and uncontrollably begin to weep.
One of these men was a pastor weeping happened to him in church others had their weeping take place, one in a restaurant, one on the street witnessing, and one in conversation one-on-one.
---mima on 2/28/11

Describing miracles I have seen. In each case I knew instantly that it was the work of the Holy Spirit on these people. Each of these people agreed with me later that yes it was the Holy Spirit and that they had been overcome emotionally by the Holy Spirit. I would like to end this by questioning my fellow bloggers in the following manner. Have you ever had anything similar to this happen????
---mima on 2/28/11

Mark V, you allready know that my answer is YES. however these things we should not chase after, as jesus was tempted by Satan to throw himself from the pinacle of the temple because for his sake angels shall He command His angels... Jesus did answer that we should not tempt the Lord. in africa we have the bushtoilet in most villages! i remember once when we were preachin in a village, early morning i had an urge so toghether with my wife and my child we went to the bush. passing by a viper hidden in the grass and my wife stepped on the viper, he did not attack but looked a little ackward and went away.
---andy3996 on 1/17/11

andy, you mentioned that,

"upon snakes and scorpions you shall trod and they will notharm you." I believe you wanted to say, "nothing will harm you."

Are you saying you have trodded upon snakes and scorpions and nothing harmed you? how about drinking poison, have you done that? I know there is a group of cults who handle snakes, many have been bitten severally, but have not heard if they drank poison too. It could be true but there is no proof of it anywhere that I know of. andy, have you done that or seen any of that?
---Mark_V. on 1/14/11

Eloy does not mean light, it means "My God". In death Jesus cried out "Eloy, Eloy, lama sabachtania", meaning, "My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me?"
---Jed on 1/13/11

And has been repeatedly demonstrated, the way things are to you is NOT they way they are in real life.
---Cluny on 1/11/11

John, I already provided the extensive meaning of my name to others who have asked me here on earlier blogs. Plainly, my name "Eloy" means, "a light" to me.
---Eloy on 1/10/11

So..Is Andy3996 and Eloy "The Diety" the same person?
---John on 1/10/11

Dear John :) now seriously. never read about a word of knowledge or a word of wisdom? i preach, and often when i preach the preaching prepared is "led in another direction towards the needs of a person, or even the congregation. that is God's intervention that is to have a word of encouragement... nothing strange for those who actually believe that God can use them in His service. actually your sarcasm astounds me, it is as if you do not know the word of God.
---andy3996 on 1/10/11

My son and my grandson both died, but many, many miracles happened prior, during and after their deaths and the greatest miracle of all - my son saw Heaven before he died (10 years old) and told us - and God has healed my deep grief - miracles happen all the time because God loves us SO much! I wrote "Stronger in the Broken Places" my book about their deaths and the Lord helped me through it all! Gave me the place to publish for FREE and even gave me a website!! God is SO very good to us!!
---Teresa_Salazar on 1/8/11

heres another one, i prayed for a woman bitten by a viper deadly bite, ariving in the hospital they refused to treat because there was no money and there was only one dose of antedote left. so in faith i prayed and the woman walked away healed. upon snakes and scorpions you shall trod and they will notharm you.

\\which new birth is unlike you and every Nonborn-again person, whom only possesses the unregenerate spirit which is not Christianed.\\

As I've said elsewhere, my life is hidden with Christ in God, so your evaluation of my spiritual state is meaningless.

And I've already answered your question about "we". I'm not the only one here who is underwhelmed with your boasting of how great you art.
---Cluny on 1/6/11

cluny, you posted, "I can just as well ask you why you call the Holy Spirit "MY Almighty Spirit" as you did elsewhere." Please do! For I, like every single born-again Christian, is spiritually endued with God's Almighty Holy Spirit, we are consecrated and sanctified by Christ: which new birth is unlike you and every Nonborn-again person, whom only possesses the unregenerate spirit which is not Christianed. Now, please answer this question, Whom is the "we" when "only you yourself" is addressing me?

OKCtaxlady -- Many people post on this site BECAUSE they want to argue.

Miracles in my life are, First, my salvation. To see the way the Lord changed my life!
2nd--He delivered me from a 25 yr addiction to smoking. I could not break it, but GOD did! Not a miracle to everyone maybe, but it was to me!

In my career as a nurse, I've seen several miraculous healing. E.G. A woman unable to walk due to a car accident,no expected improvement, was in a wheelchair Friday... but met me walking when I returned to work Monday.
A young man in a coma over 18 mo. suddenly regained consciousness, ability to speak and undergo physical rehab. To Dr.s, unheard of!

True medical miracles are often NOT what faith-healers think!
---Donna66 on 1/5/11

The first and biggest was salvation. Then I was miracelously healed of blood clots in both legs.In S.America (while on a medical mission trip) I was able without training to pray for a Spanish speaking lady in Equador in her language and fluently with a Spanish accent. Most unusual,Prayed for 2 diffirent men in coma's in a hospital where I worked and both came out of the commas. The docs had declared them brain dead.I am a nurse. Many other things happened. To God be the glory.I'm a retired nurse by the way.

\\cluny, who is the "we" when only "you yourself" is posting to me?\\

I can just as well ask you why you call the Holy Spirit "MY Almighty Spirit" as you did elsewhere.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like to see you substantiate your claims.

At least I don't claim to be the source of the Holy Spirit.
---Cluny on 1/5/11

cluny, who is the "we" when only "you yourself" is posting to me? Nevertheless, the infant which I took and held in my arms and prayed for and which came back alive was in San Bernardino California. And David the college professor whom I prayed for and was completely healed of AIDS was also in California, in Fresno. Both of these miracles happened about 28 years ago when I was living in Southern California.
---Eloy on 1/5/11

shira3877, I do not know how long the little baby was dead, but I remember the baby was a greyish blue color, and when I prayed to God, the power came down and up and the baby came alive. God also has personally healed me of a fatality also. I was on my death bed after two years of chemotherapy, and the Lord personally came to me and he healed me, and he also made me born-again all over again. Praise God! for his unspeakable mercy.

UNDERSTAND THE MEANING OF THIS SCRIPTURE!!!

But I say to you in truth, there were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the sky was shut up for three years and six months, when a great famine came over all the land, and yet Elijah was sent to none of them, but only to Zarephath, in the land of Sidon, to a woman who was a widow. And there were many lepers in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet, and none of them was cleansed, but only Naaman the Syrian.
---John on 1/4/11

How long was the baby dead? Just curious.....I do believe in miracles but my question is "if people who can pray and others are healed, go to the hospitals and pray for the sick." God can perform miracles if He so chooses. I have seen several miracles...one was me.
---shira3877 on 1/4/11

cluny, I have not prayed for an amputee, but I have prayed for a dead infant, and the infant came back alive. I also prayed for a college professor stricken with AIDS, and when he went back to the doctor for his follow up treatment he was found to be completely healed. For that what is unpossible with man, is possible with God. And when we have faith as a little kale seed, and we say to the mountain, "You be removed and be cast into the sea", and no doubt is there, then it will be done for us even as we have said. For we serve a mighty God.
---Eloy on 1/4/11

shriveled foot good enough for you Eloy? I heard about a fact like that. or this one, after an operation on the anus, a woman had to live with a sack (receptive for faeces) because the doctor took out 2 meters of i know the person, after someone prayed over her she went to toilet and did so ever since (this is a medical imposibility. i personally prayed for a person who's hearing was restored, and a dying kid that jumped up after prayers to play as if it never had been sick. lets face it GOD IS GREAT AND WONDERFULL. and Jesus STILL HEALS TODAY give praise to HIOS name.

\\One day I prayed with a young man outside of a public library, and I led him up to Jesus Christ through the sinner's prayer\\

This is nothing but dead works and ritual redemption.

BTW, Eloy, you are NOT quoting Psalm 51.
---Cluny on 1/1/11

Eloy, I'm confused by your last post. The sinners prayer you quoted from Psalm 51 describes confessing your sins and repenting from them. Yet you have said you have no sins to confess or repent from. Now, I am wondering if you think you can be saved without the sinners prayer? Or do you think this prayer is only for those who have sinned and you did not need it since you have not sinned? Just a serious and curious question. I'll be looking forward to your response.

Also, I have one other question for you. Do you think it is blaspemy to say that you are not God or sinless?

Mima, Yes the Sinner's Prayer, Psalm 51, saves. "When I kept silence, wearied my bones through my groaning all the day. For by day and by night was heavy upon me your hand, my moisture was turned into the droughts of summer. Exalt. My sin I made you know, and my crookedness I have not covered. I said, I will confess up to my disobedience to Yhwh, and you took away the punishment of my sin. Exalt. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. For whosoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved. Ps.32:3-5+ I Jn.1:9+ Rm.10:13.
---Eloy on 1/1/11

Eloy according to some of our friends on Christianet your use of the sinners prayer could not possibly bring about the stated results. But of course you and I know differently.
---mima on 1/1/11

One day I prayed with a young man outside of a public library, and I led him up to Jesus Christ through the sinner's prayer. And a few years later I was visiting a church, and seen him in the church with his eyes closed and his hands raised up in worship and in praise to God. God gives the very best of care to his own children, and he really has taken perfect care of every one of my enemies so far.

\\Cluny, you really are off base. There was a time Cluny when you were drawing close, but it looks like you took a detour departing from grace and have surrounded yourself into the secular quagmire of spiritual void, woops I ended this sentence with a comma and mispeld mispelled,
---Eloy on 12/31/10\\

Are you saying I'm WRONG for quoting how Ss Matthew and Mark correctly translated "Eloi, eloi...."?

And as I've said elsewhere, you did not take flesh and die for my sins, so it's not up to you to determine when I've "departed from grace."

So Eloy, are you saying that Psalms actually says "light" instead of "My God" when it uses the exact same word in this verse:

"My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me? Why are You so far from helping Me, and from the words of My groaning? O My God, I cry in the daytime, but You do not hear, And in the night season, and am not silent." (Psalm 22:1-2)

Funny how you not only misinterpreted the "Eloi" part, but also the "lama sabachthani" when you said it means "Light, Light, how unto me uttrly ravaged?"

When Jesus died he quoted Psalms "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?"
---Jed on 12/31/10

Eloy, why do you acuse people of blaspheming when they prove you wrong through scripture? Do you not know that you are blaspeming by calling the scriptures wrong? You obviously do not know as much about the Bible and history as you think. Just accept the fact that you are wrong and quit calling other people blasphemers.
---Jed on 12/31/10

Markv, Some people question me because they truly desire to know the truth, but others like yourself question with no intention of learning any thing but you ask only for the purpose of dissing and blasphemy. The unregenerate continue to mock, and the Christians will continue with The Truth.
---Eloy on 12/31/10

Eloy, the reason you are questioned all the time is because of the words you use for yourself. Just look at what you said about your salvation,
"and he made me born-again twice."
How can you possibly be born again twice?
So what you are saying is also that you were crucified twice, while Jesus only once.
"I have been crucified with Christ, it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me, and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me"
Those passages would be meaningless. When a person is born again their life would be by faith in the Son of God and Christ would live in you.
---Mark_V. on 12/30/10

\\Cluny, Surely when you read greek mythology you came across their greek God of the sun named, "Helio" or "Helios".\\

There's no "helio. It's "Helios."

And this has NO etymological relationship with the Hebrew word "Eloi/Eli", depending on how you transliterate it.

In either case, it would be pronounced "eh-lee", as the omicron-iota diagraph (oi) is so pronounced in Greek.
---Cluny on 12/30/10

\\Nevertheless, I cited the holy scriptures so that dissers like you may look them up and see the truth for yourself, but instead your unregenerate flesh is prone to lies and self-condemnation.\\

Matthew and Mark BOTH disagree with you about "Eloi" meaning "light"--but you tell ME to look up the Scriptures for myself and accuse me of lying?
---Cluny on 12/30/10

Cluny, Surely when you read greek mythology you came across their greek God of the sun named, "Helio" or "Helios". Nevertheless, I cited the holy scriptures so that dissers like you may look them up and see the truth for yourself, but instead your unregenerate flesh is prone to lies and self-condemnation. John, My name is Eloy, which I have already defined. John, Why did you decide on the name John?

Eloy
---Eloy on 12/30/10

\\I know the meaning of my own name. "Eloy" can mean, "my God", but it also often means, "light" or "sun" or "sunlight"\\

\\ Jesus spoke Aramaic as that was the official language of Israel in his day.
---Jed on 12/28/10\\

I'm not too sure what you mean by "official language of Israel in his day".

Israel, as a nation, no longer existed, though Aramaic was A (not the only) vernacular.

Greek had been the lingua franca in that part of the world since the time of Alexander the Great.

And Latin was the official language for imperial business, though everyone who was anyone spoke Greek as well.
---Cluny on 12/28/10

John, why did you decide on the name John?
---Eloy on 12/29/10

I know the meaning of my own name. "Eloy" can mean, "my God", but it also often means, "light" or "sun" or "sunlight", which comes from the Greek "Heli" or "Elioy", meaning "Light", as in Mt.17:2+ Lk.23:44,45. In scripture, God is the Light= Mal.4:2+ Rev.21:23.

"Eloi, Eloi, lima sa bachthani" is actually translated as "My God, My God, why has thou forsaken me?" Jesus spoke Aramaic as that was the official language of Israel in his day.

"Eli, Eli, lama shabactani" Is actually translated to "My God, My God, why have You forsaken me?"

Interestingly, in death, Jesus was quoting scripture from the Old Testament:

"My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me? Why are You so far from helping Me, and from the words of My groaning? O My God, I cry in the daytime, but You do not hear, And in the night season, and am not silent." (Psalm 22:1-2)

Many years ago I had the experience of watching a tornado approach my parents home. I was but a child but I remember my mother praying loud and clear. I remember seeing neighbors buildings in the air coming toward us but the storm made a 90 turn about 100 feet from our house. Was this a miracle? I say yes!!!

Why did you decide on the name Eloy?
---John on 12/27/10

Some times nonhappenings may be miracles, I won the million dollar state lottery and was never paid. And some outstanding ones are, Jesus came and ministered to me in person, and healed me of a fatality, and he made me born-again twice. I prayed for a dead baby and the baby came back alive, I prayed for a college professor and he was totally healed of AIDS. An evil policeman on a bike had his bike stolen. I had to walk for miles to get to work, and right when I got to my job a clap of thunder and lightning happened and torrents and sheets of rain poured down and the storm and wind let loose.
---Eloy on 12/27/10

I have at least 3 miracles in my life that I can claim. 1) Salvation- When God saved me, I wasn't even interested in Him or His word or His Son, but He pursued me and saved me anyway.
2) In june 1993, I was involved in a single vehicle semi crash ( laid truck-trailer over on its side) and walked away uninjured.
3) In June 2004, I was in another single vehicle semi crash (gasoline tanker rollover) and walked away without injury.

I am blessed to have a faith teaching Mama so I learned faith and about God's love from her, that included believing in healing and miracles. As a result I have received more healings and miracles than I even remember, praise God. This one was many years ago. I was at a Women's Aglow meeting when the speaker said someone has a backache,no one raised their hand and I was hurting badly so I did. She and everyone prayed for me and it went away but the miracle was I had one short leg causing it and it had grown out to match the other leg. There were before X-Rays,I'd worn a builtup piece in my shoe, and after as proof. My back never hurt there again. Glory to God.

Having experienced two miracles in the last week I am delighted with this question. My reason for hesitation is the fact that the miracles that I have experienced are very personal and I have no way of proving them to the outside world.
