If Jesus Visited You Tonight
If Jesus pulled a surprise visit to your home tonight, what would you have to remove before you let him into your house? If you had your TV on, would you have to change the channel and pretend you're watching something else? Would you serve him wine?

When I read of your tribulation my heart was broken for you. I have seen a very Godly friend of my suffer through this after he was healed of aids. I know it is difficult and causes fear, but I want to encourage to rest in Gods love. His peace and joy will comfort you.
I have a disease that has caused arteries in my brain to be very weak and causes me to have seizures and causes bleeding on my brain. I have had this since I was 19 and now I am 34. There were times when I would have a seizure and thought death had come. But through this God has given me peace and reminds me of the eternal life I will receive. My love to you sister.

I know this is off topic but
Mary, I just wanted to encourage you. I had stage 3 aggressive breast cancer 7 yrs ago, with 7 of 10 lymph nodes involved. Had both breasts removed, chemo & radiation. Am now totally cancer-free.! What ever lies ahead for you, God is able to help you every step of the way and bring you through rejoicing!
You have my prayers.

I would cry in His arms and ask Him to please heal my cancer.
---Mary on 4/20/11
YAHSHUA, thank you for all you've given us. Cleanse and forgive me and mine. We who believe and have been healed ourselves of physical problems. Humbly appeal through you to for "Mary". May she touch the hem of your garment or feel the touch of your spirit.
But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O LORD, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation.
And when I passed by thee, and saw thee polluted in thine own blood, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live, yea, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live.

Jesus is ever present. Therefore whatever one can not do in complete confidence and peace, one should avoid. "whatsoever is not of faith is sin."
The NLT puts it this way "If you do anything you believe is not right, you are sinning."
"Do you have faith? Have [it] to yourself before God. Happy [is] he who does not condemn himself in what he approves.
I trust that, no, "I am certain that [Father], who began the good work within [me], will continue His work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns". I know I have be cleansed, and having been cleansed, I have no consciousness of sins

Hi, thank you sooooo much Donna, God bless you sister. I've been crying more than not but I'm going to be strong in Christ--with His help. Thank you so much for the hugs and prayers, love Mary

I would be too busy crying to change anything at my house. I would thank Jesus for his death on the cross for me. Our ominpotent God knows everything about us. It is sad that Mima would attack a man of God in answering this question. Seems like he would have a better question for Jesus.

Father, in the name of Jesus I pray for Mary. I curse that breast cancer in Jesus name and I command it to loose her and GO in Jesus name. You have no authority over her unless it's been given to you from on high and I know it has NOT been given to you to be on her body...her body is a temple of the Holy Ghost. We have authority in Jesus name and I command that breast cancer to GO in the name of Jesus. Thank you Father for hearing my prayer for Mary and for answering it in Jesus name. Mary, I will continue to pray for you ((huggss))).

Christ lives in me, as the All-Wise Saint Paul wrote (Galatians 2:20), and I partake of His All Life-Giving Body and Blood at every Divine Liturgy. I live in constant communion in Him, through prayer, fasting, studying of Divine Scriptures, of the Writings of the Fathers/Saints (both ancient and modern), attendance of liturgical services, watching/listening to online services/sermons, etc.
Jesus and I are so close. We are best buddies.

If you have seen Jesus before the second coming you're dead. You made have had a vision of Christ but no man could witness his glory and survive.
The presence of Christ is absolute holiness so there will be no mystery about carnal activities. It would be useless to cut off the TV since he knew you would be doing what you are doing before your mother even existed.

I would cry in His arms and ask Him to please heal my cancer. I have breast cancer. But I know I'll grow closer to God through it so am thankful for that. I could use His warm arms around me tonight--and I know they are, even if I can't feel them. :)

whatever happened to catherine? I bet she would have had some great responses to these posts. Moderators, have you folks seen her around anywhere? Do you remember her?

I must confess, I would have to remove my Elvis Presley memorabilia! LOL
But God knows he's not my idol and when I saw him in concert two months before he died, I was only saved a few months through the Catholic Charmastic Movement and I wanted to show God that Elvis wasn't my idol anylonger so when everyone else at the Philadelphia Spectrum yelled and screamed out his name ELVIS, ELVIS, I sat quietly in my chair and exercised the fruit of self-control. Not bad for a baby christian, huh?
Now I've just got to burn my Elvis cardboard cut out of him and all the things my father and friends bought for me over the years, THEN Jesus can come by! I love you Jesus, you know I do.
---Donna5535 on 4/20/11|
I would not have to remove anything. I would not have to change channels. Now I don't have any wine. But I have water that could be changed. I would ask him please tell me a why a smart man like Cluny cannot see that he is into ritualistic works? I would ask him to say what he wanted to say and to give me ears to understand what it says.
---mima on 4/20/11|
I WOULD REMOVE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

Donna66, Loved your answer. What He would say to you is: Well done thy good and faithful servant, now enter into my Father's house! Amen and Amen. Thank you Lord for this precious sister in the Lord who loves you with all of her heart, mind, will and soul.
---Donna5535 on 4/20/11|
I wouldn't have to remove anything because i donot watch anything I'm not suppose to. Anyhow he already visited me 2x's back in 2003 & 2004. too personal to share, but enough to know about Gods kingdom, thanks for asking.
---candice on 4/19/11|
Since I live constantly in His presence, I wouldn't have to change any channels.
And He sees me constantly anyway, so there are no surprises.
---Cluny on 4/19/11|
I would just cry and ask Him to please let my biopsy turn up negative, as I like to now say, "Benign is fine" lol!
---Mary on 4/19/11|
If someone claiming to be Jesus came to my house and demanded to enter, I'd call the cops.
---John.usa on 4/19/11|
There is nothing I'd need to remove or change or turn off (though I might wish I'd at least had enough warning to DUST beforehand...(smile)... (The emoticon won't print.)
I have no idea what I would say. I have no unconfessed sin. Anything I can imagine myself saying, sounds so...so inadequate. I'm so unworthy, could I even make eye contact?
I can only imagine that I'd be speechless!
Maybe I could croak out "Thank You, Lord, for coming".
More important, I would want to hear what HE would say!
---Donna66 on 4/19/11|
if you come to my house, you get what you find. no matter what i hide, jesus knows my heart and deeds.
i would not change the channel. see the above.
last question is a query that will launch useless (and endless) debate.
what i would do is talk to Him and let it go on from there.

i would fall prostrate and ask for forgiveness
