Healing Over Your Body

I had a strange experience and wanted to see if anyone has input. My experience was a physical feeling of pressure that moved over my body. It was very real. Someone told me it was a healing?! Anyone ever have something like this?

One of the holiest, most loving pastors I know suffers from prostate cancer.
---Cluny on 6/2/11

Cluny I had Prostate cancer and I treated it naturally. It's not a bad cancer. You can usually live a full life without doing a thing to treat it.
Most men die of something else than prostate Cancer. It is very slow cancer usually takes 30+ years to be a concern.
Unless he has a more agressive kind. But if his Grady scale is 5 or less, he has nothing to worry about. Especially if he is older.

Mary, I also know another person who has so given his life to God, and has both lung and intestinal cancer.

Here's the weird part of the story: He doesn't smoke.

Glory to Jesus Christ!

Hi Cluny, sorry about the pastor. :( Life is not always fair, that's for sure. I'm glad you don't blame the victim as some do! I have cancer and I sure hate being blamed for it, hope the minister gets well soon, God bless, Mary

\\and didn't have to have the port put in nor have to have dialysis.\\

Let me clarify something:

I did have the arterio/venal fistula put in by surgery. There is NOT an external catheter or artificial implant needed by many dialysis patients. The intention was the have the AV fistula ready and all healed up when I started dialysis.

But it was a month after this surgery that my KF started climbing up.

My present nephrologist is a Hindu, as was the previous one. I'm still praying that my KF will rise to Stage 2 just to keep them puzzled.

But God's got all eternity to work on my kidneys, and the time will come when I won't need them anyway.

Christ is risen!
---Cluny on 5/30/11

Cluny I understand how it had to be a healing from God for your kidneys. Once diabetes does its damage it can't be reversed by medical procedures. My Dad was diabetic as are my son and daughter. Dad went blind,in spite of all the treatment on his eyes, because of diabetes. I praise God all the time for keeping my children. I praise him he made you better where you are off insulin and didn't have to have the port put in nor have to have dialysis. For all who don't believe in God's healing for this day and age we can just feel sorry for them, and pray God opens their eyes to see, that they are cheating themselves out of so wonderful a present from God. God Bless

\\Cluny, Excuse me but you said "after the surgery" then said "he didn't do the surgery"
That's puzzling!
---1st_cliff on 5/29/11\\

I never said the nephrologist did the surgery in my arm. He ARRANGED for it, made the referral to the vascular surgeon, et al.

Nothing puzzling about it.

Except to the nephrologists (I'm seeing another now), who don't understand what's happening.

And now, apparently, to you.

But Christians know that God heals.

Christ is risen!
---Cluny on 5/29/11

Cluny, Excuse me but you said "after the surgery" then said "he didn't do the surgery"
That's puzzling!
---1st_cliff on 5/29/11

\\**after the surgery my KF went up to 40%** Your nephrologist was a skilled practitioner!\\

The nephrologist is puzzled, too. He didn't do the surgery--it was in my ARM and nowhere near my kidneys.

Furthermore, he had prescribed no special meds, as there IS none for diabetically caused renal failure.

I might add that my diabetes changed, too, and I'm no longer on insulin or the other meds, and am now taking only Actos. There may be a natural reason for this, as diabetes is a dynamic disease that is always changing, and each case is its own law.

But there is NO rational explanation for what happened to my KF.

Your god may not heal, but the REAL God does.

Christ is risen!
---Cluny on 5/28/11

Cluny, Obviously your improvement was not psychosomatic..**after the surgery my KF went up to 40%** Your nephrologist was a skilled practitioner!
There are numerous stories about cancer healings, one disease that goes into remission for no apperent reason etc.,but none that I mentioned are ever healed by faith!
There's absolutly no doubt that God "can" but he doesn't!

My pleasure, Darlene 1.

Maybe my KF is not 100%, or even in Stage 2 (which actually I'm waiting for), but it's way up from what it was before.

I'm kept off dialysis--and it's high enough to keep doubters guessing.

Christ is risen!
---Cluny on 5/28/11

Cluny thank you for telling us this.that is just wonderful for you and glorifies God. The Bible says James 5:14,15 if any are sick among us call for the Elders of the Church and they shall anoint with oil in the name of the Lord and pray. The prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well. You lined up with the Bible and God answered. When people dismiss the move of God as psychsomotic I must wonder if they lack the insight to the true power God has given his people for the work of his kingdom.

\\Conjoined twins etc do not respond to psychosomatic healing, which is what "Faith Healers" perform!
If it was from God, any of the above could be healed.\\

Kidney function ALWAYS goes down with diabetics.

Mine had gone down to 19%. At 15%, dialysis gets started.

My nephrologist arranged for me to get an AV fistula put in my arm to make a port for dialysis. Before the surgery, I went to be anointed (standard Orthodox practice).

After the surgery, my KF went up to 40%, and it has since stabilized at 49%

This never happens. But it keeps me off dialysis.

Was this psychosomatic, 1st cliff?

Christ is risen!
---Cluny on 5/28/11

The only "healings" today are spiritual.
Physical healing like Down Syndrome,Cerebral Palsy,Parkinson's,Cystic fibrosis, Cancer, Quadra pelagic ,Blindness, Amputees,Conjoined twins etc do not respond to psychosomatic healing, which is what "Faith Healers" perform!
If it was from God, any of the above could be healed.
You know it doesn't happen!

//If it was a good (relaxing) pressure feeling, it might have been a healing. If it was a bad (gross) pressure feeling, it might have been demonic//

We always have to be careful. i once had a "christian" friend who was an awful singer. i asked her why she channels spirits in white magic sessions. she says she sings like a diva when she does.

good feelings aren't necessarily good.

Satan would not hand a hungry man a fistful of razors to eat. satan would give him a piece of delicious cake with razor blades in it.
---aka on 5/27/11

It could be a healing, but it could also be demonic, both sometimes have the same kind of pressure over your body. I would need to know more info. to decern if it is a healing or demonic. For example, what did you feel when you felt this pressure (was it a good or bad feeling)? If it was a good (relaxing) pressure feeling, it might have been a healing. If it was a bad (gross) pressure feeling, it might have been demonic. Also, have you been reading, listening to, or watching things that are not Godly - if so, this pressure may be demonic.

//My experience was a physical feeling of pressure that moved over my body. It was very real. Someone told me it was a healing?!//

It might or might not be a healing. People have all sorts of bodily sensations for various reasons. WERE you healed? If you think you were and your condition was originally diagnosed by a medical doctor, go back to him and find out.

Oterwise, if you feel better or function better, praise God for what he has done!

//don't [readily] accept what others tell you about experiences you've had,for they cannot know what really happened...Wisdom dictates we don't let people form our opinions only the Word of God. ---Darlene_1//

Very true...a man went to a "christian seminar". Although the speeches were good, he felt a heavy presence. Being a scholar of the occult and their practices, he recognized that as they were delivering their speeches, they were discreetly "signing" hand gestures that are used in occultist meetings, and when he looked around, he noticed that occultist symbols were embedded in accepted christian symbols.

So, the presence that others glorify might not be the presence that is of the Lord.

God can have you know things. He can have certain spiritual people know things and tell you, because we're "members of one another" (Romans 12:5, Ephesians 4:25), and so He has us helping and needing each other, supporting one another, including helping each other to know things. But we need to test with God about who . . . including ourselves . . . is really right or not.

I have felt guided by God. Once, while homeless, I had warmed my feet on a grill. I was held, nearby, from walking away, then I was turned to see an old man rocking on the grill. He'd been out all night. I got him to a mission. He'd been out all night. His family came in tears to get him. If I had just walked away, I would have missed him.
---Bill_willa6989 on 5/27/11

I don't know if what happened to you was a healing but this happened to me. At a Women Aglow Fellowship meeting I went up for healing,I had more than one illness. As the women prayed for me by laying on of hands I fell under the power of the Lord upon my back. As I lay there praising God for his healing touch I felt Gods power moving over me and when I tried to get up it was like someone had their hand on my forehead holding me there. It was about 30 minutes before I was able to get up. I did get better too. A word of warning don't accept what others tell you about experiences you've had,for they cannot know what really happened, they are speaking from their beliefs. Wisdom dictates we don't let people form our opinions only the Word of God.

---Susie was the feeling of pressure accompanied by a warmth over your body?
---mima on 5/27/11

Have you been diagnosed with any illness? You can't be cured of non-existent diseases.

This doesn't sound like anything spiritual.

The only way for sure you will know you were healed of anything is to check with your doctor.

Christ is risen!
