Demons are disembodied spirits and they mean to harm humans. Jesus cast them away from people associated with illness throughout the Gospels. My wife and I have an Internet radio show that addresses spiritual warfare and issues of this nature on blogtalkradio. Five years ago, I had a love spell placed on me by a practicing witch (I was living in great sin), and experienced all sorts of demonic attacks on the journey to wellness. Our book, "Demons in My Marriage Bed: A True Story of Spiritual Warfare," explains the facts of real demons and our own accountability for our behaviors. Remember, greater is He in you than he in the world.

Hi Shira, no, I was not referring to your statement, but many others this year and last year who speak about all sorts of demons. I hope all of you had a wonderful Thanks Giving Day. To us all days are Thanks Giving days. As it is written in the Psalm
" Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. For His mercy endures forever. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy" ( Psa. 107:1,2).

Markv, you are referring to me saying there is a demon for everything. I was just trying to be funny. Go back and read my post. thanks

Carla, some people I said, I never mentioned your name. But some here on CN have said there was a demon for just about everything. I was hoping you and I had left this blog in peace. At least from me it is peace.
I want to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving day with your family, and everyone else even though they disagree with me. Keep safe traveling. I want to hear from you again, even if you disagree. Nothing wrong with disagreeing. Praise God's Holy Name, and Jesus Christ for giving us the ability to discuss His Word.

Mark-v, I never blamed no devil for getting fat or thin

Get real,
This thread was not about fat, thin, small or big. However, I know certain celebrities claim their fame from satan. Perhaps you may go argue or amen them on that.

To jump on a different subject to strengthen your unbelief is both ignorant and argumentative. Being able to experience things for my self, meant when it comes to experiencing demons. I came to the stark reality that if evil exists then I KNOW FOR CERTAIN THERE IS A GOD.So when I call for prayer or to remove demons I know who is behind that removal, not I or the me but one higher than I.

And that is A FACT!

That is where my certainty comes from.

Markv, amen, amen, amen, amen

Shira, I agree with you, I believe the demon blogs are increasing on CN which indicates to me that there are many people that don't want to take responsibility for their actions. The demons are to blame for everything man does, is what I hear. The devil made them do it. True there is demons, but lets not take the responsibility off the individual. I don't believe God is going to judge a demon for our actions, he is going to judge us for our actions. People need to admit we are sinful, hateful, racist, and that there is no such thing as a demon of hate, a racist demon, or a fat demon who makes people fat. They are fat because they eat too much. They are racist because they learned how to be one.

Yes, several times. My first encounter was at the age of 16. They hang around the abuse of alcohol and drugs controlling peoples minds.

Carla, you really didn't read my post correctly. Where did I ever mention I prophesied?

I know the difference between a prophecy and a revelation the Lord gave to me about the Bride of Christ. IT WAS NOT A PROPHECY!And I wasn't lying.
I told her what the Lord showed me, not prophesied to me. Please don't call me a liar unless you meet me in person and we become friends and develop a friendship and then you hear lies coming out of me. I am NOT a liar Carla. That is really cruel of you to say. I did NOT prophecy to her. I shared a revelation about becomming His Bride, the Bride of Christ. Good thing I didn't share it with you, you would have called me a liar.

Sure, all the time! They (unclean spirits) "inhabit" (possess) people who're not born again:
They're in hell-raising spouses, children, families ~ they cause confusion & bring about division in church-houses everywhere ~ they commit heinous crimes against God & humanity, & are incarcerated in jails/prisons worldwide

The things you describe are not necessarily evidence of demons and can easily be explained by the carnal, sensual, and greedy nature of people.

Yes, and they always and at all times lose, as they cannot help but to be losers
Please tell us how you have vanquished demons.
---Rocky on 11/1/11

Leon, love your answer too. If God had wanted us to know all about demons, He would have put more in His Word. The fact that God told us not to dabble in fire is enough for me. I've heard of some people who are curious and that leads to deeper and deeper involvement in cults.
---shira4368 on 11/1/11

Yes, and they always and at all times lose, as they cannot help but to be losers. The Lord has given us All Power, not some power, but All Power against the enemey. And no demon can stand up against the Lord and be victorious, it is vanity and foolishness and self-destructive.
---Eloy on 10/31/11

Perhaps anon becasue as you rightly said you see a demon in someone when you prophesy to them. I would according to the word suggest that you are caught up in this prophecy thing that people obtain through a deception.

It is not biblical...

Prophesying is strictly being the mouth piece of God, giving times, dates and events that relate to his word, that reveal his will according to his promise.

Not acting as a witch or 'christian medium' telling someone their future.

Demons do manifest themselves differently but I haste to say yours are in reflection of the lies you are telling.
---Carla on 11/1/11

Some people believe spirits of their loved ones are roaming around and at times they are seen. God's Word says to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, therefore, I believe anything that is manifest as a real person after they are dead are demons. Ghost are demons. Now I can't prove that except what God says about being present with Him. I know there are many demons in the world and I believe they are at battle with the angels everyday. It is a blessing that we can't actually see demons. We would probably go nuts if we could.

by encounter do you mean a face to face? I've never had that, but demons manifest in my presence several times.

The pupils of a person's eyss dialate and I see them leering at me through the person's eyes..and then the pupils go back to a normal size.

I've also had demons speak to me through people in a mocking tone of voice. They usually will mock a revelation I got from the Lord and am sharing it with a Christian sister in the Lord whom I've known for 25 years. The sad part is that she denies a demon spoke through her and denies she mocked the revelation.

But no face-to-face encounters with demons. Could we contain our peace if we ever came face to face with a demon? I would be scared I admit that.

I have been physically attacked by demons on several occasions. By Christs power i over came them every time. Satan and his demons are no match for the love and power of God!
---David_Knoll on 10/30/11

Yes all sorts, and I don't like it, but I know God has me protected.
