Even too much rain has its benefits for the world if they'd only open their Spiritual eyes to see. When I saw that awful tornado last year, it was across the road from my house. All I could think of was how scary, yet amazing such a powerful force was! Only God had control of something that dangerous & it gave me a sense of peace that He knew me,I belonged to Him & He loved me. Even if He chose for that to be my time to die, I would be with Him. Pretty much a win, win situation don't'cha think?:-) The world & the people in it will suffer damage while we're here. But belonging to God is the important safety-net.

Bacause many Americans have been flooded out, and have had their homes and plants destroyed from too much rain. Too much rain is not a blessing, but a destruction.

Bill,Thank you for those really kind words. I appreciate them very much!!!:-))

So, as Reba has shared, the rain can be refreshing. And God compares His word to rain, as our quote of Isaiah 55:10-11 below shows. And, like the rain, God's word can be so refreshing, with the "washing of water by the word." (in Ephesians 5:26) So, of course, Satan might want to keep people complaining against rain, counting it but pain, because he does not want rain to be our helping reminder of how God's word is refreshing (c: Thank you, Reba, for helping me to see this! I personally LOVE the rain. I wouldn't mind if it rained every day. Of course the ground would suffer from too much of a good thing, but I'd enjoy hearing it:-)) There's nothing more relaxing than a gentle, low rumble of a distant thunder, steading flowing rain & an occasional flash of lightening across the dark sky. With the exception of the dreaded tornado,(that we in Alabama just experienced)I'm always thankful to God for sending it to us. Rain for me, is a great treat!:-)))

But, its not the rain, nor the snow, but the word you hear.
Just as its not the word that return void, but the sower and the eater who return.
Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it, which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
If you want to sing and dance in the rain go ahead.
But always remember to thank God, and only God for it!
Just as Matthew 5:45 says!
God bless you, Bill_willa6989

(c: lololololololol oh, so it's not dancing, but shaking off the snow. And the dog isn't doing the twist when he shakes off the water. Ok . . . got it (c: lololololol unique people with unique answers !
"'For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,
. And do not return there,
. But water the earth,
. And make it bring forth and bud,
. That it may give seed to the sower
. And bread to the eater,
. So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth,
. It shall not return to Me void,
. But it shall accomplish what I please,
. And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.'"
. . . . . . . . (Isaiah 55:10-11)

One has to differentiate the meaning of blessings and providence of God. Rain, sun, snow are just providence of God for His creation. Jesus declared, "...for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust." Matthew 5:45
Whereas, "blessings" are only endowed onto God's people whom He has chosen for salvation. To use the word "blessing" on the unjust is not doing justice to the meaning. For David confessed,
"Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered." Romans 4:7
And not everyone's sin is forgiven of by God.

Does this also apply to snow, when this happens we stay "inside" and dance !
Ever try dancing in 3' of snow???
Actually we just jump around to shake the snow off!
If snow is also a blessing I wish he wouln't bless us so much!

people dance and go crazy when it rains because they are doing this for their "rain god"
people in america criticize rain? oh boy the news must be slow ...watch morning news hear about how the real estate market is turning around and UNemployment is getting worse by minute
10 hours later the reverse is broadcasted
Satan is a spiritual being ...as Christ stated spiritual beings are like the wind ...a spiritual being would be impervious to rain
why are so many empty meaningless "lets talk about Satan" blog posts here lately ...seems the theme of christianet moving out of "christianity" and into lets honor and know Satan with silly questions offering endless nonsense discussion

Well, in the United States I keep noticing how people call rain "bad" weather, when God is blessing us with rain that we need. Do you think it is good to call God's blessing "bad"? This is one thing I was getting at. So, you think this is strange that I would notice this and ask what you think. Ok.
Mark, I am talking about how in certain African places the people can be dancing in the rain when it comes because they need it so much. On one island they cried while they watched rain fall in the ocean while their farming did not get it.

Bill-Willa, you are pretty good at answering questions and can you please explain what you were thinking when you posted the blog? Where did you come out with such stuff? Were you have a bad dream? 'Does Satan hate rain?' and people in the USA criticizing rain. I guess if it's a flood, anyone, whether in Europe of China will criticize the rain. And whats up with, "People dancing and going crazy when it rains?" what's up with that?
---Mark_V. on 1/12/12|
Karen, I agree. Very strange question. Maybe the questioner could clarify what he's asking. I don't really understand it.

Just when I thought I had already seen the weirdest question on these blogs, this one pops up!
